How do you feel about a digital pressure cooker for heat dial in?

Thanks for checking it out @Beau !

Allow me to make one comment, before you go following anything at the beginningā€¦

I did make mention of running TOO HIGH. a temperatures in the 2nd half of the procedure. This ā€œweek-longā€ section, Iā€™ve pictured the Cobbs, vacuum-wrapped, in a towel with a germ pad as a heaterā€¦ that was way too hot. Its not NASA :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:I said to myself, I took a much simpler approach and temps have easily hit & maintained these posted/attached Guidelines

Iā€™m working on increasing the starting-Moisture this time round; 2024

Best Wishes Bro

seems I am not alone in the quest for cobbs
Iā€™ll update when I start the process. Never done it before but I think I got a handle on how itā€™s done. I appreciate the discussion folks !!

I did see that and Iā€™m going to take your data to try an attempt at some point. Thanks again for your 2 cents revisited ^

@Beau , last year as a close growmie @MissinBissin gave me an Xmas gift of a cobb of Pole Dancer he made. I left it in a safe space and then opened it only a few weeks ago.

I knew cobbing was rad but I wanted to see how 1 years cure would doā€¦

and WHOLLY FUCKING SHITBALLS!!!.

The smell is divine, the smoke smooth. Sure it looks like a turd but what a turd!

Last year Mrs. P got me a vacuum sealer which Iā€™ve not used for cannabis yet but the idea was being able to make a fuck tonne of cobbs this year.

I already own a sous-vide which I use when making extract oils or a food deydrator with multiple shelves so Iā€™m all set to make the canna-turds!

I just finished washing the Shiskaberry in my bathtub as itā€™s too cold outside and the entire upstairs floor smells like a dessert.

 :+1:

Everything you just said makes scientific sense considering the approach used. I knew it would kill the bag appeal but thatā€™s sacrificed for terps and resin fermentation. Also smell 2-3x stronger than normal cure? I wanna experiment too; got the tools just waiting on some girls for project. Good work on that present :gift: sounds delicious.

Man these plants look beautiful! I won 5 coastal blueberrie seeds in the anniversary contest. Canā€™t wait to see what I get from them, Iā€™m using the 18 gallon Rubbermaid method you had showed me now . Working like a charm :muscle:

ya those totes are great.
easy to make into a planter by drilling lots of holes with a 1/2" or 5/8" keyhole drill bit. Line it with bulk roll plastic window screen to keep out the ants and beetles and fill it with your favorite medium.
Every time the Canadian Tire stores have big sales the 15 and 18 gallon totes are usually 40% off ā€¦ somewhere around 8.50 each so i will buy 10 at a time. I use them for all kinds of other things as storage containers too so I like to keep a stack of them in reserve hehe
Good luck with your grow!!
Iā€™m gonna start harvesting tomorrow by doing a major defoliation on all the plants and get the hanging room ready. Thankful I have a couple helpers that have agreed to come over and help me get everything done. In 5 days I am gone for near a month so gotta get everything hanging and my friends will take care of the hanging harvest while I am gone.

Yeah they are $6 at Walmart canā€™t beat that. Good luck on your hunt I would love to moose hunt one day that would be enough meat for 6 months it would seem. I would love where you live (besides the cold) . Itā€™s always refreshing to look at your page man keep it up. And stay safe on your journey :v:

Yeah man blue berry is my favorite (so far) havenā€™t really ever had access to quality until I started growing so Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll find other favorites as well. Honestly though his coastal blueberry was the first plant I really wanted since I joined the OG And then I was able to win a pack ! Fucking epic and will probably make it that much better!

well friends, looks like the fall growing season has come to a close here in the greenhouse. Got 3 more days of reasonable weather and the past week has been pretty decent overall. Still itā€™s been single digits over night temperature wise and between 8 and 14C daytime.
Next week we are in the low single digits daytime (celcius) and -2 to -5 at night so no point trying to ride it out. I have to have it all down and hanging by the 19th so I can go moose hunting anyways.
The plants could certainly use another week to truly finish but they have certainly shown me that with a heated greenhouse, these will go full season here and be done by end of october. At 52North , that is a huge thing
No molds or mildews to be found and trichomes are getting cloudy so I think the quality will hold. Some really nice yielders for my conditions and one or two that are kinda sparse but overallā€¦ strong blueberry funk in my greenhouse and I know I am going to be pleased to smoke this harvest ā€¦ for sure .

Not gonna be around much over the next couple months but appreciate you all for following along and I really appreciate the growers sharing thier Strawberry Hill experience.
cheers!!!

nice!!! thanks for sharing @Kyumonryu , those look like they will finish up well for you

Here at 52 North in the Cariboo Chilcotin , I am almost done the harvest. Been 2 days so far trying to beat the weather. Got the rough trim done on 11 plants so far with one more Coastal Blueberry to get trimmed and the Long Valley Royal Kush seeded plant.
It is cold hereā€¦ low single digits yesterday with -5C overnight the last the 2.
It is snowing pretty good out right now so winter has officially entered the scene LOL
Iā€™ll take some pics.
I will say thisā€¦ the Coastal Blueberry is a clear winner when it comes to handling some extreme growing conditions in my unregulated cold frame/greenhouse here in the north. Wish I had another week of sunshine and warmer temps but I know it ainā€™t happening here LOL
So that wraps up my own test grow of this released batch of seeds and I can not be happier with the results. Old school hardy true Blueberry plants you can count on to deliver as advertised

So this will be my last post for a bit.
I am leaving for my hunting adventure and will be completely offgrid for potentially the next 26 days. Iā€™ll be back around when I can.
Thankyou all for following along with my missadventures as the 2024 growing season comes to a close for me.

she will not survive the next few days but I am sure am impressed with this plant and itā€™s will to survive. No one I have shown her to that lives around here can believe how big she got and that she is even still alive this far into the season here.
