Rotary evaporator
yah gotchya! high tech super still!
Trimmingā¦ Iāve been leaving everything hung up, then just pluck buds as I want to smoke them and just pluck/flick the dry brittle leaves off into a bin. I havenāt gotten around to jarring or curing most of my small harvests lol. Especially lately when plants Iām harvesting are as small as these. This is three whole plants
Sounds like a porn movie trim prison
I prefer trimming fresh off the plant and have a TrimPro Unplugged but it doesnāt work well with fresh buds.
It took big chunks out of my life doing the fussy ābag appealā type trimming before curing thing Iāve done for years but my arthritis is shutting that down.
Most of everything I grow now is meant for edible meds or oil extractions so now I just trim/cure a few of the best colas for some smoking bud to share with friends and freeze the rest for later processing for meds.
I hate trimming with a passion even with my Fiskars.
My buddy wonāt let me post his pic here LOL (heās the tool)
Well guess Iām getting a bowl trimmer. Thatās gotta be a time saver, gonna be a weed saver too if I decide to try commercial again.
I usually big leaf for the last two weeks of flowering and by the time for chop theres not much left. Makes chop day a little less chaotic.
lol. I lived near several of their shooting locations. Knew every image in the opening credits and where you could find them. The āMarcalā paper products factory you see in the opening credits burned down a year or two ago I believeā¦ Saw that right from Rt 80.
I never saw em shoot a scene, but man, that was such a sunday night thing, couldnāt miss my Sopranosā¦
Same tools except I wet trim by hand in the garden then hang and finish trim after drying ! I use the torch to clean the tools a candle on final trim . PA040022|666x500
I just finished the series an hour ago` god only knows how many timesā¦
Iāve watched it all the way through at least 5 times. The wire too.
lol there is a site that plays this series on loop i fall asleep to it alot i have prob watched this series 30 times never gets old. altho i will never forgive them for ending it how they did.
Why? I love how the ending left things up to your imaginationā¦
Probably the best series ending I recall was HBOās Six Feet Underā¦
Wrapped up everything nicely, purely emotional (yes, I cried) but it was so masterfully assembled, perfect music, just tieing up everything nice and neat. Loved that endingā¦
not me, i need answers. or it makes me feel annoyed and anxious lmao. my mind is always racing as it is just tell me what happens dammit !
I didnāt quite finish the thread, but I guess you got the answer; that perfectly trimmed and clean looking is done by rolling the buds in the trimmer. Commercial growers and the pot from the dispos always looks like that. They get a lot of trim and keif by doing that and they can turn that into concentrates. Not good if youāre buying it, because they harvested a lot of your trichomes before packaging.
With a better quality trimmer thatās adjustable a single pass through the drum will leave the buds with a decent amount of sugar leaf if adjusted a bit tighter will give you a clean tumbled looking bud.
Some large buds require a second pass through the drum due to them skipping through too fast .
So depending on how you decide to go will determine how much crystal you knock off them.
Granted a hand trimmed bud is my preference but for those dealing with larger amount of plants unless youāve got 10 friends to help at harvest itās like looking for the light at the far end of a curved tunnel .
