Another quick update. We’re starting to see some frost stack on pheno 3
We’ve also passed one hurdle for our pollen donors. Pollen sacks have finally started to form. Now we will have to wait and see if they produce viable pollen.

Is that first pic the reversal (not a true XY male?) Thats a crazy response/looks like the genetics have potential for healthy yields. Wild how some female reversals have more “yield” than actual males. The size of some of those individual pollen sacs are nuts, no pun intended

Yup, I used Suge Pure Kush S1 #1 as the pollen donor for this round of fems. The size of the cluster reminds me of bodhi’s 88g13hp crosses. It doesn’t dump anywhere near as much pollen as a regular male though so i’m letting it run a bit longer until I take it out.

I have been hit hard with what I believe are thrips. I’m not sure if they’re going to finish making the seeds in time before they die from the lil demons.

I just recently dealt with thrips and def try to remove as much infected foliage as possible, not sure how far you have left but should be able to make it to the finish line. Are you just running these for seeds?

The whole thing is infected since I thought the cause was inconsistent watering for the longest time. I only saw maybe two or three while I combed through the whole tent but the damage is mad intense for that so there’s got to be a ton.
It’s about 3-4 weeks left for the seeds and nah i’m not smoking any of it since silver thiosulfate was used on plants right next to it.
Back up plan wise is I do have clones but it’s be safe to assume they’re also infested at this point. It’s odd as from all of my years in growing I have never had pests indoors. I did look around on google and found that bonide systemics + a spinosad spray would be fine for non-smokeables. Not sure how that would affect the seeds though.
Edit: Yeah it’s just a seed run.

Ok then I would definitely let it finish man but you can budwash thrip and spider mite damage pretty effectively. Seeds don’t mind they have a tough exterior if you know what I mean haha

I normally don’t have thrip or fungus gnats but we had a big stretch of humid rainy weather and with my organic amendments the damn things find a way into the garden a while back. Always seems to be middle to late flower though never during veg knock on wood

I’ll for sure let em try to go as far as they can. Have you tried biological methods for treatment with predators?
Don’t do nothing at this point, let them finish, they will be ok, just less photosynthesis resulting in less yield but overall they should finish nicley.
I have a Suge leaner in my Imperial Majesty pack, got like 5 fems from that pack, all seem very nice but this one was throwing those big bubba leafs from the get go so hopes up it smokes good as it looks
