Zone 1 - Update
Week 3 flower
AC GDP and GG4 clones chuggin’ along. starting to see some nutes weirdness on the left pot. could be because they dried out twice last week (got home late)
regardless proceeding as expected.
Zone 2 - Update
Top Shelf -
AC GDP clone mom a bit spindly in the branches. will hopefully correct itself after it’s first haircut.
godfather og mom getting ready for another haircut. hoping to hold out till end of month.
Bottom Shelf -
Rainbow Kush-Off entry still finishing up. fan leaves are fading fast. the colas right in front of the fan are a lil bit crispy already. (not unexpected). couple more days.
GDX project sitting a bit idle. the cuttings taken have got signs of rooting in the clone dome. they will get placed in soil solos this week.
Zone 3 - Update
Top Shelf -
GDX cuttings are showing roots. they will get in soil solos this week.
godfather clones have rooted and are showing signs of new growth. going to place them below when things get moved around.
Zone 4 - Update
dedicated to making flower™ and now seed™!
Left Side - @Ris - growing up ganja’s mimosa showing some flowersign. did it’s scrog weave pretty well. i expect it to give a bit more stretch. still nice and healthy despite the 100F temps in zone4.
Zone 1 - Update
week 4 flower
AC GDP and GG4 getting their colas on. little bit of neglect. work/life getting in way of regular maint. been more concerned with spending spare time outside… harvest coming up. some are quite close. gave it some TLC last 2 days. should see an end to early fam leaf yellowing.
Zone 2 - Update
Top Shelf -
AC GDP was doing some wonky crap with it’s branches. acting like a flowered plant getting revegged. spindly branches, weird leaves, etc. i topped it last week to see if it would slow down. it seemed to help a bit. going to top the rest of the branches when they get a bit bigger.
Godfather OG ignoring my hopes of holding out on another haircut so soon. will probably need to take some more cuttings this coming week. will top the selected branches tomorrow and do a bit of defoliation for better ventilation. getting leafy again.
Bottom Shelf -
a decision has been made. changes in structure and what this space will be used for from now on. if i DO any autos over the winter, it will be in 2gals. no more 4gal. too much space. this way this space will now be where i can veg out my buckets of clones before they flower in zones 1 or 4.
zone2 bottom is now dedicated veg area. will figure out a better floor area sometime this week. got cardboard and some leftover mylar.
Damn man that’s a hell of an indoor and outdoor setup you got going on… always fun to run multiple strains. Plants looking good and variety is the spice of life especially in regards to cannabis
it is interesting to see the differences in strains as they grow. and then the anticipation of getting to sample some of the ones that look/smell really promising.
Zone 1 - Update
week 5 flower
AC GDP and GG4 cruising along. seem to have the nutes issues under control. it’s always the bucket on the left… maybe because the fan blows directly on it? either way they are coming along. nice and frosty. no stank yet.
Zone 2 - Update
Top Shelf -
Godfather OG in desperate need of a haircut. will happen this week.
AC GDP not too far behind. going to top both for selected branches today.
Bottom Shelf -
i have culled the GDX project. all males.
i have decided to keep #4 and will use him to pollenate some AC GDP clones. his vigor, structure, leaf shape and stem rub have convinced me to keep him around for one seed run. his was the closest to Ken’s genetics that i could see from the lot. frustrating to have to scrap 3/4 of the entire project.
frankie clone starting to look like i need to find it a new home before it does its demonic jungle plant impression
Right Side -
soma lavender male already dropping dust. i shake him over the candidates once a day. will do that for another week or so, then switch to just collecting the dust.
Awesome stuff here Til
Don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned how much I love your four zone setup
This would make a lot of sense if the fan is the case
Direct fanning = more wind, less humid air, causing more transpiration in the plant’s leaves
More transpiration means it’ll use up the water & nutrients in the soil faster (simplification, bc I’m dumb and don’t actually know much)
Same amount of nutes being used more quickly could lead to issues - it depends on the strength of nutrient solution, rate of transpiration, etc.
In the summer my plants drank like crazy due to the heat in my tent & garage. Many days reaching 90-95F in tent. Went from watering them every 5-7 days in springtime to every 2-3 days in summer. Gave me issues bc I hadn’t reduced the nutes enough, plants drank water too quickly and so they used up nutrients at faster rate.
Similar result, just a different cause
There’s a great short video by Dr Bruce Bugbee about this topic
lol… and i’m on the opposite side wishing i had more space and fancy tent setups like y’all do.
but thank you for the compliment. appreciate you.
your theory seems quite plausible. that side is dry a lot. gotta see if i can reposition the fan. i should have put 2 and 2 together earlier on this one. last run with t-dub was completely boned and could have probably been prevented. living but not learning over here on that one.
going to keep one selected GDX male… let him breed with AC GDP.
bummed there were no females to test on abuela.
but
if we go from the breeders lineage, it was 3/4 ken’s GDP to begin with. i DID see many ken’s GDP traits in it’s structure/shape/stem rub, so i’ll see what it can do with AC GDP.
will extract something from the GDX project… so not a complete loss.
lol… thank you. allow me to explain my sense of humor here.
nothing in zone 4 is 90 degrees, none of the cuts are straight… i literally used scrap lumber (build site trash). as a home builder it’s crude, misshapen structure and materials utilized has driven my precision OCD into levels i can’t describe. the finish carpenter in me CRINGES looking at it. the home inspector in me just shakes my head in shame.
the ONLY saving grace/source of pride for me was taking build scraps and creating something functional from nothing… like MacGuyver or the A-team.
it actually started out as zone1 when i first started growing. when the wife gave me the green light to grow for abuela (a big decision… it’s still illegal here), i grabbed all the scraps i had and got to work. designed on the fly. started at 10am finished at 2am. germinated my first seeds the next morning before i went to work (was pretty tired that day, but excited)
this is where i’m at. it’s ugly to me. it bothers me. but in the same token i’m proud i built something sturdy and functional from scraps. hashtag that sh^t. #zone4lovehate
lol… thanks for the compliment. i’m glad y’all like it.
it seems to have been the best spot for doing seed stuff and has slid into the role quite nicely.
Lol, that’s really funny. As bad as my OCD is, I - and I’m sure others - haven’t looked at the corners of the box as much as the wicked plants in the middle
i’ve relaxed a bit on it…
focused on the seed run… and seeing if i can keep the dust from getting all over mimosa next door… (and my plants outside!) i didn’t do so good with that last time.
i have an exhaust fan pulling negative pressure on that (dust) side this time.
going to add an air ionizer on the left side… hopefully zap any dust that tries to make it in
also going to spray mimosa down with the plant mister… negate any dust that does end up in/on.
these are the plans/improvements this time at least.
Dang man i forgot you had indoor going too. I know your busy, im busy with my tiny little perpetual. Good luck on yiur seed project im doing one as well, fun isnt it. Somas lavender is a great strain.
Zone 1 - Update
week 6 flower
sticky, stanky, healthy.
repositioning the fan seemed to help a bit. that’ll do. everything still moving along as expected. i wish i had let the GG4 clones veg a bit more. i’m rather fond of that one.
Zone 2 - Update

AC GDP got some limbs topped. think i might just give it a haircut and let the roots settle one more time before i start taking cuttings.
Godfather got another haircut. took the selected branches i topped last week. they were sturdy and ready to go. took them taller than i usually do. want to see if i can get cuttings this tall to root out.
Bottom Shelf -
down below, the first set of godfather clones is responding VERY nicely to the topping last week. they slowed down a bit and got caught up with nutrients. the new growth looks nice and lush. 2-3 more weeks before some space opens up for them. (probably going to go to zone1 when those get the chop)
Zone 3 - Update
Top Shelf -
new cuttings in the clone dome getting their roots on.
the mimosa clones responding nice to the topping. getting some lateral branching.
Right Side -
soma lavender male getting his ron jeremy on. this dude is very messy producer. getting it done x100. i hope my methods are keeping his dust off mimosa next door. we shall see.
Zone 2 - Update
Top Shelf -
AC GDP mom getting after it hard. going to take some cuts this week.
godfather og seemed to stall a bit after this last haircut. coming up on top dress. it might need some food to pick itself back up.
Left Side -
week 5 flower
GUG Mimosa is getting a new burst of stacking. i think a bit of the lavender pollen made it’s way over despite my efforts. regardless i welcome the stacking and packing.
Right Side -
i pulled the soma lavender male earlier in the week. he had done his job on the selected female cuts. i saved the branches aside in a box. will try and collect some pollen for if/when i find a lavender female. a few chances left.
i had to put a scrog net in as the females are already getting too heavy from being preggers. weave weave weave. make those seeds.
they will probably have a few weeks more of space to themselves before some room-mates come out.
Got some cuttings from generous OGers on monday. i Finally got around to getting them into cubes and in the clone dome. (it has been chaotic busy here)
Both are essential to Abuelas stash. Thank y’all very much. Much gratitude from the halls of Valhalla.
GG4 and Blue Dream cuts to the left inside the dome. i hope my skills are up to the task. the cuttings were very healthy when i got them.
Zone 2 - Update
Top Shelf -
these moms are just getting after it. we will find our balance somewhere along the line. they are healthy and productive. i am fine with this.
Zone 3 - Update
Top Shelf -
one of the blue dream clones took a nose dive, but i think i got it coming back around. REALLY don’t want any of those cuts croaking on me. they were healthy when i got them… any going down will be on me… and that aint happening.
godfather cuts seem to be showing root sign. they will meet the solo cups this week.
Bottom Shelf -
these xox gdp males won’t stop flowering. i might have to scrap them. it will become a space issue. i SHOULD have put them in microcote cups. but i did not. my mistake.
frankie being frankie. gotta top it again. i may toss it out with mimosa in zone 4.
