The Central American landrace and heirloom thread (Part 3)

They were raised in a 33% Blending of each; ProMix, Sand/Perlite and EWC @US3RNAM3.

Fantastic News and I’ve just cut “all” the Nutes way beyond half.
(going with 33% of bloom fert, for the first couple of Amends… that might be IT for this 2nd half of this grow, just to help them turn)

no more ewc! Next meal features H20 only. Reduced Amendment can wait till after that.

Thank You for your comment(s)
Much appreciated Guys !

Tropical sativas do this when slightly overfertilized (with N, IMO). Dont flush, simply water and tea for a bit to see if the new growth goes back to normal. I have had that happened a lot with thai, panamanian, and oaxacan derived hybrids.

Here, they use aqua-herbicides to treat algae in the lake where our drinking water comes from.
Kain’t be good for us or our land plants. I use a good filter and then boil it.

@GREANDAL Your Huixtepec is pretty. Please keep the photos coming!

Gotta ask, did she make seeds? From the ones I have grown this bushy pheno seems to be kinda rare. We could use many more of her :star_struck:

Thats what I’m seeing in the photos. The guy that spent 6 years tracking the seeds down was convinced it was a hybrid. Could he be mistaken and this is the santa marta longflower? @YoBigdaddy how long did these go for you? Just as long right?
@grey eyes it depends on container size with the Huix and probably veg time too. All mine stretched alot year 1, with long side branches when not root restricted like i did this summer.

I Don’t know. Its a Red cross Panama but not the 74. Same collector. 1978 maybe. 77? 75? I don’t think the guy remembered exactly which year. @Elchischas told me about it and i bought it and added it to the lineup last minute. Seeds were ordered and sprouted in 4 days time. There are more Sativa phenos in this one than the others. Maybe they all would have grown decent sized had i not kept them in one gallon containers till a third of the way thru flowering and then went to only 3 gallon…but the way I grew them I had a couple pole plants, and some others, likely longer flowering( but maybe not. Some plants definitely filled in quicker and these Molded and were picked around week eleven or twelve… But it’s possible they could have kept going and going like the Others I was able to leave) that were more bushy, which would suggest its a hybrid or an acclimated kush transplant, now long flowering. It had Indica and Sativa phenos…kinda…
They all have had this same " kinda"

The G T looks great, stacking buds now.

And the colas on the Guerrero are amazing.

Sterling job …the whole garden…

The Triffid says hello…she has handled the weather great.

Still chugging along. I figure it will probably finish in December. It sucks when you have to plant late because someone sent dead seeds.

What you mean the redneck planter you have sitting there empty lol. Plants look amazing!

Drying onions I’ve never seen or heard of that must smell rough.

Gotta keep them from rotting before they get sold! Nothing smells like a half ton of rotting onions :onion:

She looks about the happiest I’ve seen any of them. Every leaf turgid and green. Happy to be alive.

Corinto.

Past three or more days the sun returns …and so does the cluster rash of flowers.( third time it’s done this.

Week 19 Chica 3 in flower
in flower and losing the gangly leaves and producing Trichomes
Very impressed with the way all these Corinto have handled the monsoon weather we had…
They seem to shut down , curl the leaves a tad …then when weather improved and temps rose they bounced back…Happy

I cut done Chica 2 at 18 weeks and one went early at 17 when …that was the one that went 15 weeks veg, the other two were 13 weeks

Don’t know how long this last one will go …depend on weather I suppose.

So Chica 3 is 13 week veg + 19 flower so far = 32 weeks from germ so far…

As I said it’s like waiting for a child to be born.

But what a grow and boy has it tested me …and got to say what a plant that Corinto…all those years of evolution in the Valle de Cauca …to grow it in Panama in similar climate and altitude has filled me with joy.

And a big shout to @GREANDAL who done a superb repro on these independent, original cannabis plants.

Ye GREANALS CORINTO You should be well proud…I know I am and I only grew them.

VIVAR LA VIDA.
