Edit…wat one is that …I know it’s not G T

I’m at the Tropical research centre…near San Vito second time here …@ upstate this area is part of Talamanica. and back in the day Chiriqui ( Panama ) was part of Costa Rica.

Ye research is good fun …but as a lover of palms as well.

They have over 100 different strains ja ja ja.
I just in my retirement have become more I refaced with nature than with humans. LOL

Nice grow! Have you harvested any yet? If so, do you dry and cure the stems along with the rest of that deliciousness?
I currently have two females going, a short one and a taller one. The stem rubs are amazing.

beautiful plant heres mine

oaxacan string of pearls bx1 @deeez99

santa marta Colombian gold @YoBigdaddy
purple pistils and showing no shock from split! also some nice trics starting

oaxacan from @upstate repro and pollen from him as well.

the sop has a faint smell but menthol and wood
smcg has a floral smell with citrus on the end
oaxacan just smells like amazing old school weed cant put a finger on any one dominate scent.

also sop is starting to get a purple hue to the calyxes not many clear trics yet. i wonder if she is gonna do the oaxacan “final stretch” flower and all of a sudden add 6 wks to the grow :wink:

I have not harvested any yet, but I sure am looking forward to it. I probably will harvest the whole plant pick the buds off cut the stems up and make hash or dragon juice

Them are some beautiful plants as well I think you’re a little bit farther along than mine, I’m just now starting to see that resin on the stems.

That’s Casey Jones x Willie G Lebanese. Not sure if this is a typical look for this or if it’s a throwback but I love just looking at it. Untouched by the cold, unfazed by the wind. We had 40mph gusts two days ago and it just leaned over, the top almost touching the ground and sprung back up like a flyrod. All day. Seems like a high altitude plant to me.

Cure the ends with small twigs in there. Grabbing the fat part of the stem and squeeze tight, and slide your finger(s)and thumb towards the very branch tip, popping off bracts til the tip snaps off. Any larger secondary branches treat the same way. I do this with all branch ends. Last foot or two maybe. Cure all that comes off. Make hash out of stem resin and other resin that falls off.
@YoBigdaddy and @420noob glad you found the Silversides. Everyone else i passed OP seeds to, theres a chance you have one s1 Silversides seed in there. Not all of them are created equal to the one @420noob and possibly @YoBigdaddy found( resin still filling in) but they are all worth keeping around awhile. If its not a Silversides s1 in your pack, then with 3 seeds, Silversides is the mother. hit by all other males and these are really good too. The three sisters line, for example. I love seeing all these Oaxaca plants growing and reproducing. Not long ago there were no m/f lines to be found, anywhere.
I have another few original packs to go thru, so any of you making your own lines, keep some room in there for some additions. We’ve only scratched the surface. People like @GregOG and @GREANDAL have found fuller flowered tall expressions. @George and I found the 20 week shorty pheno. @deeez99 is isolating the tall pine pheno, another Silversides type @rasterman has found an s3 of it that looks as nice as the s1. @Trowertripper and @Papalag have both done a couple generations of their lines (and maybe have some pics to share?) And now @DainIronFoot just ran the PS line and is passing out seed in the overflow, so more expressions will be found. There’s a crazy resinous shorty pheno in there with to die for smell and taste.
If we keep this up for maybe 3 more years, each of us continuing our lines… if we then share seed amongst ourselves, we will all get a hybrid vigor type effect when mixing them back together for a Super OG Oaxaca line that can stay here on OG and get passed around indefinitely😁
