I’ve seen people use dung for insulation but I’m hoping that’s not it!

Oh no, no no no. Just a very dense material packed in there. Slows bullets down tremendously, should that need ever arise for whatever reason.

Well that will keep rodents (heck, everything) out. Gotta ask how you recycled epoxy, I’ve been trying for years. LOL JK epoxy is hella expensive here, how much did you end up using?

I found 5 gallon buckets of industrial epoxy, 30 gallons part A, and 15 gallons part B (mix is 2 to 1) at a company that threw it out. Did not meet their requirements on bridge repair adhesive. :flushed:. (It’s an industrial bridge repair epoxy) Ya, can’t imagine the cost of it…lol It has taken just 10 gallons so far, should have plenty left by the time I am done :+1:

I think I have one of the most expensive, trash built home on earth :joy::rofl::joy:

Looking good :+1:

There are some properties around here that have straw bales for insulation, the walls are 18 inches thick. It provides an amazing amount of heat retention.

Better keep rodents, ants, water, and whatever else can be thrown at as, out :joy::rofl: I “painted” the lower foot on the outside walls with it, then tyvek, then foam. Should be a very solid, nature proofed home :+1:

Hey I don’t have anyone shooting at my house but given the chance to have bullet resistant walls I’d go for it too

There is always mess when renovating. I am ripping out our on suite bathroom atm, I have more tools on the bedroom floor than in my workshop

We are going on year 4, of the mess  :joy:. Thankfully, we have walls now that have no holes in them, and a roof that is no longer collapsed down by 14 inches :joy::rofl:. you know, the important stuff lmao

The shitty thing about it all is, I traded my beloved airplane, to a guy who has a lumber yard…and I got all the wood to finish framing this place, inside and out. But, I do not have my airplane now :sob:

As you say get the important stuff done first

Hopefully you will find another one better and cheaper one to replace it.
