Oh man, sorry to hear that. Mine are all very vulnerable and I would have to be here and have a heads up to be able to save them. This is very late. Did they all make it okay?

Oh yea ! My plants kinda of laughed at that hail storm ! Yea they were half marble size no wind and only lasted 1-2 minutes .

Yeah, plants around here just shake their fists at those types of hail storms. Suckers! They eat them as they fall from the sky. :joy_cat:

I feel like my wasps keep the pests down. Maybe I’m wishful thinking, I always just see them pollinating. Found a few dead bees though and wasps are mostly gone now. Signs of fall. Next after caterpillar wars comes attack of the aphids… Please say it isn’t so…

Well the honey trick on the 5gallon Home Depot aphid trap seemed to work pretty well until a rain storm washes it all off! Not much stuck to the vaseline think I need to goop it up more!

Crap, who would have figured, lmao. I like that idea though. I suppose vaseline would stay on in the rain.

That’s exactly the schedule here. Caterpillars will start soon, and wasps will leave and the aphids will explode. I found a big moth inside my GG#4 x Sour Bubble. had to shake him out of there. It’s like the moths know the lifecycle of the weed plant. Cause they lay eggs now just in time for the caterpillar to hatch and eat the flowers.

Cool bug trap too. I have always avoided adding yellow objects to my garden for fear of attracting insects. But hey it’s better the bucket than the plant.

Hope the girls didnt mind the hail too much!

Yikes ! 41 degrees outside this morning ! Do I need to send some cool air your way yet @oleskool830? Any break in the temps down south yet?

Dang, that’s getting down there. We’re in the low 50’s here in the southern part. Supposed to only go to around 75 today which is a big change. Sunny though. I have one plant that started turning colors.

I sure am hoping for a long Indian summer this year.

M2 hope to get my plants out by mid October noticed flowering on and around the 1st week of August Will be checking trichs in about 2-3 weeks seems like my sour blue tooth is way behind the others though!

That sounds about like mine. Maybe a week later when flower started. I have two that seem to be slower to get going on the flower, too. An Uzbekistan and a Purple Poison Cookies. I have one that looks damn near finished but it’s only been flowering for 3-4 weeks. Good sign, heh.

Most are in a race to get it done it seems. I love this time of year. It’s so cool to just fart around and look at the plants. I’m headed out now for my favorite time of the day to look at them… early morning sun.

Maybe we can fend off the frost till it’s over.

Out here you can get pollen nets. They protect your plants from cross pollination from rogue pollen fuckers… might try it some time over my side
