Here’s a few pics of the Brutal Paw x BM x LB x CG finishing. The BM mix was my first trade a year ago and still have not finished a female or prodigy until this one. Lots of males and bad conditions. Very interested I. Tasting this mix, I have been looking for a Jamaican that reminds me of the 80’s.

Also the GG4 is done working out and flipped to Blume nutes 3 weeks in. Also started bumping P&K to start bulking the 6 node buds up .love how tight this plant is up top. should make for some dense chunky buds and trichs are loading up like frosted sugar.

and last but not least Mayor McCheese. Looking and smelling good 3 weeks in.

Here’s a test batch of my Hybrids all but 4 Germinated and are showing good vigor in the first few weeks. So much so that the sprouts got all tangled in the towel and strains got mixed on 3 batches, so I’m gonna be playing some Name That Plant with PPP, KQ, and Master Kush if anyone’s familiar with them growing?.

The 2 on the left, in the plastic container, especially the front one, looks like ppp. It looks like it even had the floppy seedling stem that a couple of mine did.

Update:

GG4 is making a nice tight bouquet of dense frosty kolas only 4 weeks into a 10 week run. McCheese is keeping pace with smaller pine cone nuggets popping all over the place. I have pruned the bottom 1/3 away and hollowed out the centers for air flow and light penetration.

The first run of Sativa heavy (120 day?) Central Americans is into flower to sex and stretch, all have a single topping at 4 nodes.

All others are vegging up a bit for some bud runs of PPP, MK, KQ, SB, and CBD Honey Patch for the wife.

For the guys running testers here is the germ test of the last mix of x’s. Very consistent across the board.

Ready to chop are two BP (black) and one Green dense and close to the stalk. Love the orange hair on the Blacks these I let ripen a tad bit to the amber to see if they wilt start Fox tailing (pull right away). Although a foxtail bud may look cool I find if I don’t chop after the first few tails pop the bud density gets more airy. It also tells me my lights tubes and hoods need cleaning. I have been pushing the GG4 to within 16” of the 1250 HPS and no tip burn also is a warning. When I ran commercial we would replace lights every second grow and ballasts every 4. My friend with the MAC cut has 8 bulbs left from before he switched to the push in dole end Gadivas.

Thanks Big-J, I’m digging the Dirty Margarita and Thai mixes right now. Not a big producer but small super dense nugs that taste like Strawberry pop tarts with burnt edges. May try and work it a bit with GG4 for potency and bulk.

Room is nearly empty for a good cleaning, everything going under LED until I clean tubes and replace bulbs and swap out ballast. Have a Sativa heavy Central American run that’s going to need some light intensity
Have made it 6 months of perpetual 12/12 grow with great bud density (light distance control). Also will spray down with Micro-ban/water for pests mold and to kill any leftover pollen and I should be good until Labor Day. Plans is to swotch to Full LED’s before I use up the 4 sets of bulbs, (2 years) or sooner. Anyone who has went from HPS to LED, chime in and give me some numbers on electricity cost. I am burning around 4-500 a month.

An LED can be more than twice as efficient as HID grow lights. LED’s generate less heat than other grow lights so that means savings can be found in such aspects like ballasts, exhaust fans, temperature and humidity controls, HVAC, and maintenance. An LED system will of course still require HVAC and environment controls, however, the usage of these systems are reduced greatly. Some growers have reported that, following the switch to LED, their AC usage was reduced by approximately 75%.

HPS lamps must be changed every 2-3 cycles (6-9 months) because they lose efficiency and PPF. A standard 3 month grow cycle requires 16 hours of light a day for the first month in the vegetation stage (480 hours) and 12 hours of light a day for the second and third month in the flowering stage (720 hours). That means you’re getting approximately 2,400-3,600 hours out of your standard HPS bulb. So, in the end, based on a $1,500 LED fixture over a 100,000 hour warranty and a $200 HPS industry standard bulb over a two standard 3-month cannabis grow cycles, the number you are paying per hour for your fixtures are: LED: .015¢ per hour HPS: .83¢ per hour That means you’re paying more than 55x less per hour for your LED fixture versus your HPS.

That is an excellent and well thought out answer for consideration. Thank you sir.

Great reply, exactly what I was looking for. I will plan on using the recourses on site to design and build custom lighting with the best alternative LED strips.
My main room is 6’ x 8’ with a 10’ high ceiling and raised shelves. I run a central fan under the shelves facing upward to make them dance a little. Right now I have two 1000+ HPS on boost for 2500 watts.

Awesome answer @monkeyman I was looking at maybe getting a hps instead of a cheap led for tent I’m looking at buying next u till I’m able to build a led light for it and my cab. Had not looked into hps that much yet but with having to replace bulbs if I where not to get my future light built withing two to three grows it wouldn’t be worth it getting little extra power now vs having them at just enough to get by and saving little money towards building future light sooner also. Now I don’t need to go down that rabbit hole.

Life is GOOD!!! Finally caught up with my buddy from the collective…8 - 8” cuts of MAC cap cut. And 9 1000W HPS

And a half Oz. Gift of some NIC The Bruiser???, pretty tasty at 24% and he says the MAC blows it away.

Me either… here’s what I could find, wish I could have got a shot of the 12 MAC in veg at 5’x5’ SOG. The lights were out in flower, I’m surprised he let me take the bud shot, think he said they are 4 weeks out then his 12 plant cycle will be 3.5 weeks per harvest. Same schedule I used to run.

The MAC

He’s pulling over an Elbow per…
