I just remembered I could take a screenshot of my PC opened to OG without trying to communicate on it! Then send it to my phone. Too many cats to skin in too many directions, sometimes!

Btw, the only reason I have them available here is because I copied them to a saved file. I’m fairly certain it was a OG member that suggested/recommended 
I got them from MPG the emojis in this instance. Only site I’ve tried. I - right click>save as - on that emoji on MPG to save that file located on my PC. When I hit the upload button here on OG it points to that file where I make the selection.
I suppose it could be done on a phone?
Data usage now 2.34GB.
It doesn’t matter what my actual limit is. I will reduce my usage until I’m back on wireless.
That alert must have meant something. It defaulted to it because that’s not a setting I ever messed with.

Man oh man. I could use a nap already today.
Maybe your data limit is just for high speed data. My phone service is fast for the first 2 GM of data, then they throttle me until next pay cycle. I hardly use more then half a gig because wifi is everywhere now. I sometimes worry about the invisible “fog” out there. 🤷 I just feel like humans are kind of arrogant sometimes.
Would that technically be the same upload arrow as the one on the bottom right of the phone screen? Like it’s just in a different spot per device?
On another note, I have no extra time at the hospital. MIL is awake and trying to communicate. That means spending all my time trying to decipher chicken scratch on a whiteboard. It’s kind of fun, but definitely frustrating, especially for her.

Please advise her that RV’s are not made for 100% human occupation.
Humidity can become a HUGE problem with 100% human occupation.
IF she still decides to go that route, she will have to do something about humidity.
And then there is also great chance water supply will freeze.
My Niece’s RV has the “Arctic Package” and it froze.
My sister’s RV has had freezing water supply problems this mild Winter.
Your Winter’s are more severe than we will ever have down here.
She needs to know that before buying, whether it’s on your property or not!

Yes, thank you! I checked it a dozen times or more. I took everything apart several times and put it all back together, no exaggeration.
My problem?
I pulled the wires/cables/power on the old router without taking note of where they all came from when I put it back together after realizing my mistake…that I would need the old router to install the new router so the new router could interrogate the old router for its configuration settings. I was instructed to remove the router, it didn’t say which router. The only router I had that could be removed was the old one. I thought I was done with it.
DOH!!!
Darn shame I’m not closer, I’d be willing to assist you in your absence. Do you have someone tending to your chores? I’m assuming you must have.

That was a trip!
I had to reboot the box twice. After the first reboot Norton asked IF I wanted to run the quick scan (or whatever it’s called). The scan hung-up…refused to finish the task and refused to allow me close the app, I had to forced reboot a second time. Norton did not recommend again on second boot.
Then, I opened up my phone picture app, it’s called different names by the very company that made created them, and the pictures weren’t there. I gave it time and the pictures wouldn’t show. I restated that app a couple of times and the pictures never showed.
While I was composing a message here about it several minutes later and the pictures were there!
I need a new box! 
This is what I used for TV in my residence for around a decade, maybe a little more…listening instead of watching. I got pretty good at knowing the news personalities speaking by their voice alone. It’s what I used since my wireless went down, that is, after I retrieved it from the building I can use as a garage. It really shines in a Boombox situation!
Now, this is where I was last night.
First, I likely miss-wired their equipment, their router, as it looks like I had the wrong plugs going to the wrong sockets…specially, their POE Injector.
For things I am not familiar with, I would normally take pictures of electronics I take apart so I know for sure how it goes back together. I did not in this instance as I really thought I didn’t need it any longer.
This is how the installer left it yesterday.
Who the hell leaves their work like that?!?! He was satisfied with his product. I couldn’t 
When he first terminated the CAT6 cable I noticed the termination he used. It was metal. I asked about it and he said something like, yeah, that’s what we’re using now.
I thought, okay, that’s fine…metal may be a better material for that purpose as it is more rigid of course.
I mentioned it to the installer that was here today redoing to other guys work.
I don’t think that connection would work long term. Not with that connection!
When I moved the router to work on it and noticed that termination. I also noticed the tabs that should be tightly secured around the cable but weren’t.
I squeezed the tabs around the cable. I did what I working on and noticed the tabs were opened up again. I tightened them again. While trying to figure out what was going on I had to tighten those tabs multiple.
It got to the point where my best thoughts were that the wires in that termination must have become loose.
I mentioned the termination when he was here.
When he was done reconnecting the system that termination was still in place. I asked if it would be secure and not pull out. He said it would hold together.
I asked if there was some other, better method or materials.
This is what he installed…
MUCH, MUCH better! I approve! 
I’ll mount that junction box when I decide where I’m going to mount it.
I showed or he saw the router I bought to use here. That the router I bought won’t work here.
I was informed I need a Modem/Router. The router I bought is just a router.
More researching, trying to return the router I bought so I can afford to buy what he recommended…potential crossover expenditures. Buy the one and wait for refund from the other - IF I can return a 100% unused router being it is an electronic device and some folks won’t refund on electronic devices.
I’ve already requested and was approved to return the new “router” I did that between the multiple reboots after I originally typed those words.
And, now I have to go retrieve 6 40lb bags of salt at the other house, the main house…it was not delivered here at the schoolhouse even though he had to drive right past my HUGE sign directing where to drop my deliveries. The HUGE sign would have been on the drivers side as he drove in and he could have gotten close to touching it, it’s that close and that big sign!
Luckily, my nephew recently bought a 1992 Jeep and it’s here on the property!
He’s going to let me move the bags of salt with it. I’m going to try to use it as a farm vehicle while it’s here and when it’s not raining. It’s currently topless.

And, along those lines, I have tried to vape it maybe dozens of times or very close to that.
It doesn’t vape well in my Arizer Extreme Q. It looks to heat up the middle of the screen very well but the edges where there is a glass ledge that keeps the screen from falling through it doesn’t look to be effected by the heat, it just of balls up. I can move it to the center but it then doesn’t vape very well the second time through.
Not sure what temp. to set it to AND I’m very concerned that too high of heat could cause the Kief to drip down on the heating element in the Extreme Q.
Any ideas, recommendations regards the vaping Kief?

Personally, I have never like that short wheelbase for road driving. They’ll bounce you around like it was its job! And it takes pride in doing that job (bouncing you around) well! The suspension on this one makes it ever worse!
I have to get that new router boxed up - good thing I keep boxes and packaging around for a bit in case I need it. I need it! Then go shopping for a Modem/Router.

Wow, that was one helluva rabbit hole I tumbled in to!
I saved a emoji on my phone.
I would typically tell my PC to receive a file from my phone using the quick access systray drop up arrow. Intermittently it isn’t there.
Not this time.
I’ve been trying to see if my above premise would work, push hold>save as and put it in the gallery I use every day. It’s on my phone but the “Receive Bluetooth” icon isn’t in the Systray now.
Well, not really “Now”…
I’ve been trying to find it to get it working so I can send it to my PC.

Yeah, ugly! I couldn’t walk away from that thinking I did a good job.
The today guy did make a good point. Those individual wires are very well crimped on to an individual metal pin and those pins are snap-locked in the plug and they’re not likely to see enough action to separate them, once it’s in a stable location.
Still. You’re is understating it!
And keep this router?

Precisely. 
I was convinced not to purchase a combo because of reviews. My brother had one and said if one function stops working you lose both. I also think troubleshooting internet issues is easier with a separate modem and router. Just my opinion tho.
Glad your back on the net. I’ve punched tons of rj45. They’re pretty stable if done well. I still make my work look nice. I miss polishing fiber. I was good at that.

Some to you, some to others…
I’ve found a few but from what I’ve briefly seen so far, they don’t fully support this router. Not the Tri-Band or the WiFi 6E.
Not that any of that means anything to me deep down - I hate having to RE-learn this stuff then toss the data again like the last time I learned this stuff to free up space in my Thought Process Machine!

Oh, about the live camera thought. I didn’t click on too many links with video because of the unwatchability of HughesNet. There were times, I’ll bet the records are still there, I was getting download speeds of a whopping 1Mbs 
You can’t watch video with those speeds. I had to work hard to watch what I did watch. Incredibly hard, considering. It could take a 1/2 hour to watch a 10 minute video, generally speaking. It was !

Here’s where I’m at now. 
I did help do some fiber for my community college. I guess I impressed them in class. Hahaha. This guy has more tools than I used but this is basically what I was doing.
I loved making all the different terminations. Fiber was the coolest & my home has always been in Kansas. 
I’ve tried to leave a few times but I’m always drawn back.
I’ve been there man. Not r even worth trying. That new speed must be a game changer. Even though 21 isn’t even considered broadband, it’s so much nicer than 1. For over a year we just bought DVDs and I would download shows on the wifi at my old job in the mill shop. Miss that place sometimes.
I’m gonna have to snag one of those shirts. I’d sport that one.
MIL update.
This lady is a big ol |3 ! T¢ ]-[. That’s the FIL with her.
Just before this she told her she would never go home. Talk about making someone feel like giving up. I told the MIL to prove her wrong. So today she stood on her feet ( with help) for the first time in over 2 months. Also since we’ve been here the past couple days she’s using her trach mask for long periods of time. It allows her to talk, which she hasn’t done but a couple times and just in the last week +.
Anyway, the aforementioned lady doesn’t spend any time with her, and shouldn’t be allowed to just say that. At least tell us and let her family help break that news a bit more gently.
Also thanks for that info on RVs. Last time we were up here, our pipes froze in that insane cold + wind chill. Somehow our cat-sitter caught it and turned the water off at the corner of the driveway, and we ended up with no bursts. Amazing…

The only place I can find them presumably for sale… $371.35AUD. IF I did this right, first time I believe…it’s 259.27usd. 1aud = 0.69818193usd.
It looks like a decent modem/router…to my rudimentary understanding. I was just looking for a working solution that had me not paying the $9.99 a month rental for something I should ‘probably’ not paying rent for. Gets in my craw as the idiom goes!

I lied about making this my first post to respond to your post. I needed to try and address a post I made that I thought was a DM! DOH!
That’s an interesting process. I can see how someone could be transfixed with that detailed process.
As for Internet speeds I posted, I should have included that that speed was while on the Internet (currently abusing it at that time ) and streaming live television.
Also, I’m still on the Starlink list. I got a message late last year, November (or so) letting me know the real service won’t be available until mid-2023.
They did offer a temporary connection with greatly reduced performance. Just a stop-gap service.
I’m not going that route for a couple of reasons but primarily I don’t want a jerry-rigged setup.
I’ll wait for the real system.
Also, Starlink customers are averaging 100Mbs. 4 times faster than what I’m seeing now.
I can imagine you missing working in that shop. It looked like a fantastic place to work IF you like working with wood. I’d dig just walking through and checking things out.
I’ve been in different kinds of shops nearly my entire life, starting in woodshop around 7th grade. Metal shop and Automotive are 2 others. In the Auto shop we completely rebuilt an inline 6. I was already working on vehicles but that shop taught me a lot of valuable lessons. I really enjoyed shop, all of them.

On the RV info. I advised my sister on the matter and she decided to disregard my advice. A month or so back, after her being in the RV not very long, I noticed a paper sign she put in her window near her door regarding deliveries.
The paper was water stained. The paper was very water stained.
I called me sister to come look at it as I reinforced the issue that IF she didn’t take care of the Humidity things could get out of control quickly.
I was surprised how water stained it was for only being in the window a relatively short time.
I hope I convinced her of the real need to control it.
I even gave her that first dehumidifier I bought with the blue light I couldn’t practically cover.
She wasn’t using it.
She had it on the last time I was there.
Yeah, frozen pipes are no fun.
It does seem like that Pex tubing is pretty resistant to splitting damage. This place is all Pex. The brass valves in the bathroom broke last Winter, not the tubing.

Okay, I’ve spent several hours, literally, trying to wrangle this beast of getting extra LAN ports over these past couple of days and haven’t gotten very far.
It’s a confusing mess. Nokia has A BUNCH of “Beacon” products with some of them compatible with the Nokia Modem/Router.
I just had Windstream Chat to ask how I expanded the LAN ports on their Nokia. They said it’s not expandable.
I then asked IF I could add the TP-Link router I bought, She said it “could” work.
“Could” work? That does not embody confidence. I would have thought the company should very well what equipment is compatible without guessing.
I waited until last night to box up that new TP-Link router.
I had decided I’d return that one, use this one for a while and see how it goes.
Now I’m going to unbox that router again and hook it up.

I did receive the new Netpots, Hydro-Farm netpots. They do positively lock onto my 5 gallon Uline buckets !
I also received the 6 black 3.5 gallon buckets !
I received an message that @GreenleafNutrients are in the mailbox I hope none of the bags are exploded as the one in the last shipment.
The Modular Tomato Cages I bought are somehow lost.
I checked “Orders” on Amazon and saw that they were USPS and delivered to “Garage or Other Location”.
I’ve searched the area twice, one being a very close search.
The mailbox is on the street. The mailbox isn’t anywhere near a garage or other location. The garage and new shop are well off the road and not casually accessible. You have to get pretty deep down the driveway to get to either building.
I’m puzzled. I did notify the Seller through Amazon’s messaging system. I responded to their message to me late last night and I haven’t heard back from them.
Trying to make it a great day! It “Could” be a great day, I imagine!
