WHAB’s 1924 Brick Schoolhouse RDWC

hi, this was probably a free sample for you! You can use it or give it away if you don’t want to

yes, we updated the website feeding chart a bit, but these formulas are designed so you can make your own custom feeding schedule tailored to your own crops/setup.

Thank you.

I will use it. I’m not sure I’ll use it this go round.

I want to make sure I have the basics down before add-ins.

Are the changes on your site easy to find or would getting a link from you easiest for both of us?

winky

Your Nutes were doing exceptionally well until Late Bloom, I think it was late bloom. I think I wound up at 1/4 or 1/2 recipe (I would have to go back through my thread to find it, from memory it was one or the other)?

Thank you for your time and responses, @GreenleafNutrients! I really appreciate the exchange!

Kelp is amazing for soil, so hopefully it will be effective for you!

Hey there G!

It says it’s for many styles of growing.

Has it been successful for you?

I think so.
I understand it is more for the soil ‘wild life’ by aiding the mycorrhizal fungi and bacteria, but the plants seem to like it.

Is the Kelp used in all stages of growth?

I forgot. I ‘have to’ make a couple of calls. I have no idea how long they will take. One call is to AT&T/DirecTV. I could go missing in that call! ROFLMAO

I have to call Windstream again, too. This time for billing. They’re trying to sell me more of their product and services. I have no interest in their offerings. I was just letting things settle out before making that call. Expanding it and other matters needed to be worked out before I hand them my money.

Then I’ll get to that router. Almost a shame. I repackaged it nearly identically to how I received it!

Then I think I’m going to get going started on the Veg system. I’m pretty sure I have everything I need here. We’ll find out.

The Hydro-Farm netpot, which came from a 3rd party middleman, holds those netpots very well!

Will be ordering a bag to use with my outdoor crop this summer. Can you use mega crop in a irrigation setup. I use netafim netbows outside with a 55 gallon drum / sumppump with 2 gallon per hour emitters

This is stinkin’ exhausting!

I spent a good deal of time in Windstream chat instead of phone. LAN ports on Nokia Beacon 6 is not expandable. 2 is what you get.

I do have the TP-Link hooked up and working. But, they’re not communicating with each other very well. Creating a Bridge was suggested but I didn’t easily find it.

I read a bunch about creating an Access Point.

I think making the TP-Link router an Access Point may be the best route from my quick reads over these past days.

It is Ethernet connected to the Nokia Beacon right now.

I’ve been at it from that time to this…

Still haven’t paid my bill, either. I was approved for the ACP, internet assistance whatever but I don’t see it reflected in the bill.

I was told when I first looked into it I remember being told it ‘may’ take a billing cycle or two…I was hoping it ‘may’ have been sooner. It hasn’t.

I’ll get back at it in a while…

I’m back to where I was last night.

The only way I’m getting extra LAN ports on this Kinetic system (formerly Alltel, according to the installer), I have 1 option…

Nokia’s website wifi-helpcenter.nokia . com (not Windstream’s site) does have a compatible hardware list and TP-LInk anything isn’t on it. Or this other coded language I don’t understand - “CSP provided ONTs” confused2

The only way for me to add addition LAN ports is to buy a Actiontec T3200 Wi-Fi Wireless Router/Modem 1GIG (renewed) $138+.

That number looks familiar, I thinks it’s the same approximate cost of the TP-Link, after taxes.

Huh, just found one $3 less expensive from Windstream…the above was Amazon Renewed.

ROFLMAO

Also, while in Kinetic Windstream chat I did ask what “plan” I have. I had seen one of their pages showing 3 “plans”. Those plans ‘started’ at 100Mbps.

My plan is 25Mbps. They said it should increase as the Infrastructure is further build out.

So, at that number, @Rhino_buddy … those earlier speedtest results are STELLAR!

ROFLMAO

Back to boxing that thing up, again. I’m getting pretty good at it! winky

Edit Add: Done. It turns out this one is renewed as well frown

I don’t need it right now. I want to be done with it right now!

I paid an additional $5 for a week quicker delivery. Damn thing was 2 weeks out! This “Estimated Delivery” is - Feb. 14 - Feb. 16

Sorry I haven’t had a Chance to respond to you, but if it’s just giving you an Ethernet cable to plug into your computer, you could easily just pop a switch on there and add 128 more ports even. I have an old switch that has 16 ports and I used it forever. Still has capabilities to transfer 100+ Mbps in this old late 90s early 00s equipment. The networking technology shouldn’t be so different that that won’t work. Switches are cheap. They don’t have wifi though. Just like adding a USB hub for more ports basically.

Be back later to tell you about the great butt feed shot. Lol. :+1:

yes, these should be able to function well. If any issues come up pls let us know will try to troubleshoot it. Do you do normal dosage on your tank for feeding? So around 55gallons = ballpark of 275g ?

Sir, you have much more important matters to attend to.

I can and will wait, my friend! I insist on waiting.

I have some plans that will require additional LAN ports on a wired/wireless internet router of some sort connected to the internet, as my Thought Process Machine sees it winky

I did not know in advance that I would be so severely limited regards my internet connected device options or devices to accomplish it…after install. Especially in light of your related comments. It seems I can’t avoid the scenario you described. You were right. I don’t have much of a choice in the matter.

Hey, I’m pleased as punch to have this limited service. In comparison, this thing is blazing fast! winky

I’m just hoping the Actiontec T3200 modem/router will hold up until Infrastructure is further built out around here.

You, and yours, take very good care, brother!

I meant to mention in my several previous posts that through the days of research and trying to force this TP-Link Router to work here I discovered something I didn’t know existed.

Remember me going on about “future proofing” my internet with what I’ve been trying to do Internet wise here these past several days? I was going on about WiFi 6E or WiFi 6 even in general…

…WiFi 7 snuck in on me when I wasn’t looking.

Where the heck have I been!?!?

Welcome, Kami! wavy

My first indoor Cannabis growing experience was with a used (free) General Hydroponics Waterfarm.

From the first, I knew that top-feeding was the way to ensure seedlings (small but rooted plants) could see the nutrients they needed from early on.

I have been pondering a way to introduce it to my game…not much beyond a thought “man, that’s a great way to deliver nutrients to small hydroponically grown plants”.

I have always had it in the back of my mind that - IF I can find an easy and relatively inexpensive method of including something like that, that is something I would like to see in my future and the future Ladies passing through here! winky

Thanks for adding to the discussion, @Kami tup

That was a thing!

I lied when I said my last crower would be my last crower. Now my last crower was my last crower.

Introducing the (what turned out being) the 'Prototype Schower! Schoolhouse Shower - Schower! ROFLMAO

I made some standoffs so the Schower Rod Rings (the kind with those little rollers) wouldn’t get bound up at the 4 contact points.

I didn’t have long enough wood screws. I need something around 4 inches long. Where you see bare hardware that should have gotten a PVC standoff. You can see the 1 inch white standoff on the right of the Schower Rod.

I only put exactly 2 mounting holes in the window trim, in the whole thing, 2 others for tooling (will fill at some point). The right end is resting on top of the original 1924 built-in shelving. I may run 1 screw up from the bottom of that top shelf and into the leg resting on it.

I’m going to see how it goes, I may have to put something across the window a little lower to prevent throwing an elbow potentially through it!

I also have to work out where to put the overlaps in the curtain. The idea always included at least 2 Schower Curtains. I have to mount the Schower Head, either on the window side or the other end of the 2x4 cross beam you can only see this end of in the picture. Where the Schower Head winds up will determine where the overlaps go, relative to the faucet/Schower controls. Then the the overlaps will match up to those final locations.

I just got finish up (for now) about 50 minutes ago…

I might be IR the rest of today.

Oh, I was at the workbench doing something and turned to go into the bathroom for this project and as I turned away I heard a BBBBBiiiiZZZZZZTTTTT.

My TV was no longer on. I powered everything down and started it all up again and the TV didn’t come on.

That SUCKS!!!

This TV was given to me broken. I diagnosed it with the help of a great YouTube TV repairman.

I bought the replacement part from the same guy - best price I could find.

I fixed it.

Now, it’s broken again.

I will try to diagnose the issue and fix it AGAIN - IF I CAN…

Not a good time for this.

Coincidentally, I haven’t missed any TV because I still have my XMRadio and Boombox in the classroom. I hadn’t taken it back out to the garage yet.

Man, I’m hurting all over.

I had to get the Schower up and running so I can lay the 55 inch Zizio on the Rigid Foam ‘workbench’ that the project had been occupying. That 1 inch Hydroponic Tubing was coiled up a lot smaller and very cold from being out in storage in that 1924 Wood Bin than I needed and I had to lay it out flat and put in its approximate diameter and let it acclimate to the ambient temps in here. That aspect worked out very well.

Oh, I started the day this way…

Was going to use the opportunity to pull the 1962 GMC Camper Special out of the field and up near the Schoolhouse. Up nearer to where can work on it.

My strap snapped.

Try again next weekend, or another way after that.

I did spend about 7 hours helping my nephew remove the 4 popper out of his Jeep in preparation for his mild crate 350.

He wanted to pull it out intact from the transfer case snout forward…it’s pretty long, but okay! winky

It took a lot more work, struggle…but it’s out.

It turns out that engine being built is not in the shop right now like I thought. It’s in a 76 GMC here, my brothers. I was told that engine was blown up. Maybe just tired…I’m not sure. Blown up engines aren’t worth much more than scrap where I’m come from! ROFLMAO Unless your salvaging the remaining valuable usable parts out of it. May he has a different idea of what blown up means. confused2

As we are doing this work and knowing he’s getting rid of the 4 popper, I had an idea it ‘might’ possibly go in one of my ‘Donor’ Willys on my BIL’s property. It was a Wagon just like mine but someone made a pickup truck out of it. While destroying the originality of it, it was done very poorly. Done ugly! This property doesn’t mind what your farm rig looks like! winky

I’ll try and find something to do with it.

Oh, while I’m leaning on the right front fender I saw a parts bin. I asked what it was and my nephew said it was relays.

I thought, oh…that’s looking ahead…spare parts on board. Looking through it it looked like it had spare parts in it. Nope…

…this is what was contained in the ‘parts bin’…

It is a service box. A relay service panel made out of Tupperware type material and open holes drilled through it.

confused2 facepalm

Dude had at least 30 switches in there. I don’t know that any of it worked. It didn’t have dash lights when I was in there. It didn’t have blinkers EXCEPT when you applied the brakes the emergency flashers came on! ROFLMAO

He did take my advice to contact Painless Wiring. You tell them what you have and what you’re doing it in and they’ll build you a harness.

IF I can get up, I’m gonna take my first Schower (Schoolhouse Shower) winky tup

Getting up is in question at the moment.

Edit Add: I see now that the Schoolhouse is visible in the top image. It’s above the space between the bed of the truck and the Camper Special bumper. That’s where my tools currently reside. My concrete work surface is just above the 4Runner, 40 or 50 ft away, but 100 ft to get there winky
