Then this is my Metal Halide Picture-Takin’ LightBlocker 2000! It is a box bigger than the failed Metal Halide Picture-Takin’ LightBlocker 1999! (It ‘was’ a short-lived Metal Halide Picture-Takin’ LightBlocker 2000 as I raised the bulb due to what I am diagnosing as Light Burn…subject to change )
When mixing 3% H2O2 at 1 to 2 tsp/gallon, it will not hurt your plants, but it will help prevent or control other harmful and unwanted things growing in a hydro environment. Lots of us use it with tremendous results.
I saved your previous advisements in a word program . I had to, I can’t remember ALL this stuff and I hate having to ask multiple times…It’s like the person isn’t paying attention
H2O2 chemical structure, it’s not meant for growing plants. ok so I got a question and anyone can field: what problem is hydrogen peroxide solving specifically? If I don’t use hydrogen peroxide can I expect something to happen?
Like WhiteHot said people use it to treat and or prevent PM mainly. Mixed as weak as he described it won’t harm the plant used as a foliar treatment. The plants may even use some of the extra oxygen.
The protocol to extinct powdery mildew is mix sulfur with water and spray on your plant once then again two weeks later, you will never see it again. Never spray in bloom. Powdery mildew is a host specific obligate exoparasite.
Correct.
In order to trigger pythium growth you have to achieve 7ppm dissolved oxygen in solution. Keep the solution temperature at 18C, 30C is fatal.
Nutrient exposure to light is fatal to plants, use black buckets.
The problem is…err that the solution to these problems is not hydrogen peroxide/H2O2.
It’s one of those things that is supposed to be a solution to problems, that is itself the cause of problems. I use it to clean the floor it’s a great disinfectant. I never use it on my plants.
have you ever tried or seen any data on a copper soap solution. Its similar to the sulfur.
and yes of course that is veg only I don’t spray anything on buds not even water.
hmmm ahh you think I am hostile? Naw. You are me, literally 20 years ago. I bought that stuff in 4 liter jugs of 30%. Just sayin’ I’d never do that again.
lol I also did the peroxide mildew treatment. @OGBohab I’m not shaming you all or something it’s something I’ve done in the past too.
No shame here brother, I agree with your statement.
It’s just once you get PM you got to fix the issue that caused it first, but then you still need to treat the remaining PM on the plant. Unless you can just cut it and run, I have a hard time killing males. LMAO not really but I hate doing it.
