That’s pretty cool. I like the precision that gains you.
Thanks for sharing that.
Thank you, my friend!
A quart of that pH Down is $13. Watching it hit the floor, or my foot , or just run down the exterior of the bottle onto what every surface it’s sitting on required a remedy , imo.
I would have to say I used more than a quart through this grow. I started on an old bottle I had, then bought the quart above - and that quart is nearly empty.
Quick, easy, inexpensive, vastly controllable - with less waste overall over time. It had to be done!
Thank you, again,@DougDawson!

Thank you, my friend!
You’re welcome!
It is my pleasure to help out where and how I can, eternally…even in a minuscule manner as is the case here - views may vary .
Thanks, again, brother @Rhino_buddy!

I forgot to add; funny you should mention that. Speaking of “precision”…
Back when I was talking to Bluelab about the failed pH Meter (they couldn’t help me), then what I ‘thought’ was a faulty E.C. Meter (it wasn’t, my mixture exceeded its ability to test to) and replacing both, Bluelab contacted me asking IF I would be interesting in being a Bluelab “Tester”.
Would I be willing to accept new products to test?
Now they may ‘think’ I’m a Commercial Grower - I don’t know. I am obviously not.
BUT, if they’ll accept me as a small Medical Grower, I’m hoping we can work something out to that end.
I was about to message them regards the above line but July Celebrations (my most important and special remembrance/celebration) interrupted our discussions and with these and other things going on, I have not been able to pick up where we left off.
I did tell them in our last discussions that I would ‘certainly’ be interested. And ‘eager’ to do so!
They must know by my recent purchases that I’m not a ‘big’ grower, and likely not fully automated.
I wanted to mention it here previously, but I don’t like getting over my ski’s in that IF nothing happens (they decline to send products to a small grower like myself) then why having mentioned it at all
BUT, I mention it because ‘I think’ there ‘might’ be potential in the offer.

That’s awesome that you even have the chance to be a ‘tester’ for them. Hope you can get back on track.
And sometimes the little things make the biggest difference.
Another twist in the road!
I posted this on another site. I thought I ‘may have’ posted it here. It looks like I never did. I did a very brief search here and I don’t see it…
This is quoted from the other site:
Sat Aug 14, 2021
My brother moved out of state.
They moved out more than a month ago. I didn’t say anything because it wasn’t anyone else’s business.
I was informed (before my last post) that I can live in the main house.
They said as long as I can maintain the place(S) I’ll have a place to live until I die.
My plans, as of this moment (*and subject to change ), is to stick to my most recent plans. Build out the Under Loft. Build out the Loft. And build out the Attic. The 1924 Schoolhouse will remain as the Grow Space.
My brother just had a YUGE Shop building built. The smart move would be to move all of my Woodworking Tools/Equipment to the new building. It’s very close to the main house.
With regards to Woodworking, I plan, as of right now (see * ), to continue to use the 1924 Brick Schoolhouse as a Woodshop. It was what I first envisioned the place as - just mental masturbation at that point in time . I lived 2 hours away at the time.
At this point in time (see *), all of my previously stated plans - regarding Woodworking - are still valid (build front entrance - door and arched window above it, duplicated what remains of the original). Rebuild all of the Window Frames, inside and outside.
I still have to work out all the mechanics of such a situation.
My brother just had a NEW Central Heating and Air Conditioning System installed! However, he had, and still has, Crawl Space problems like what I HAD (I quick and dirty solved the problem here at the 1924 Brick Schoolhouse) - critters making it their home. I will have to address the problem there now - I’ll make a more permanent solution there.
Also, I never mentioned it here (that I can recall) but, the Schoolhouse does not have a “Shower”. It never did.
I have been taking what I call Crowers - Crouching Showers . On my hands and knees and “showering” under the edge of the rim of the tub.
The main house has an actual stand up shower! A walk-in shower no less!
The main house is what could be referred to as a ‘One Bedroom’ but also has a very small room (has been a bedroom, and an office, a couple of times) - like a small office - I’ll use for Drying. It would be amazing IF I could find a Portable A/C unit or TWO for a GREAT price to use in this space to control the drying environment.
As of tomorrow, I can move in to the main house. Not sure when I actually will move in (sleep there).
That’s all I can think of as of this moment (see *).
As a real bonus, Brother Bob!
IF or When you come to visit, you’ll have a mattress to sleep on (by yourself ) - IF you decide to stay in the 1924 Brick Schoolhouse. If not, there is plenty of space to throw down an Air Mattress in the main house. They are leaving behind a couch but I don’t remember any details about it. I don’t even remember paying any attention to it .
Still mulling things over in my head. Need to flesh some things out. Some things will present themselves to me as I address each situation.
The Garage just became available again. My brother was moving some of his larger things out of it and I didn’t want to be in the way. I need to get the Kubota BX25D up on jack stands and investigate what’s going on.
I’ll be back when I’m done.
What a difference a day makes! My mechanical abilities most have rendered him dazzled!
*and subject to change
Make it a great night!

subject to change!
How prescient I am!
It has ALL changed again in a little more than THREE weeks!
I am not going to move in to the Main House. Another family member is in need of it.
That family member being my Niece. The one that built out the 1924 Brick Schoolhouse.
She’s departing a relationship and moving back here - IF even for just a short time (I am told )
Then to Florida - it’s unknown to me why ANYONE would voluntarily move there!
So, I’m going back to my original plans I put on hold until I could arrange the move - Satellite Internet Services being one wrinkle I have been unable to figure out thus far. Luckily, I had not spent much time or effort trying to figure it out
Besides what I need to do inside here, I need to get to building out the outbuilding directly related to the Schoolhouse - a relatively small storage shed - for my storage. I am living with many boxes laying around. They should be in storage. I took them out of storage, moved them in to the Loft, then moved them out of the Loft for more important matters! And, now they’re all over the living space - AGAIN!
I ‘was thinking’: cool, now I can just move them in to the garage for storage!
Now I HAVE TO get them OUT OF MY WAY!!!
Then I’ll get back to my subject to change schedule .
I’m going to build out the shelving in there. Move my storage boxes in to the storage shed - as I look through them along the way as I know there are things that were randomly put in random boxes in the loading process and which I have not located since they were packed! That’s how and where I found my old Pocket-Scale. I knew it was in a random box but it took me about a year to discover which box!
Then, change out the Oil Sending Unit.
Then make a couple of planned trips.
Then get back to building out the grow spaces here in the 1924 Brick Schoolhouse/Woodworking Shop/Residence!
subject to change and wrinkles!
Gotta Go With The Flow, Baby!

WHAB
Yes, I was a little surprised by their original offer…that they would consider making the offer to me - who had only primarily complained to them (not really complaining, simply asking questions about long out-of-warranty items), then buying a simple set of Truncheon Meters.
And, yes, I hope it and they will be seen as that and only that.
It is in my nature.
Thank you, brother!,

Great idea. do you leave the tube in the bottle or on the syringe?
wow! Life is crazy like that, the ups and downs… sorry to hear about the bad things. too young. Working on the next run yet?
Hello friend!
Going to use a golf tee as a plug on the end of the hose. Good catch! Good eye!
I just haven’t looked for one yet - - - are your rushing me!?!?
The hose fits ‘very’ snugly in the undersized hole through the cap and its inner layer. There shouldn’t be any evaporation from there, or contaminating it conversely.
I do need a golf tee!
Hey friend ,

Life is What Happens To You While You’re Busy Making Other Plans…
I once heard somewhere
Thank you, brother @JoeCrowe!.
Pondering the next run would best describe plans exactly at this moment in time…
With the cost of building materials way down - last time I looked - I’m gearing up for the Attic Build - again.
It is certainly on my ever-growing list!
I am testing out a cheapy White Board to see if it helps in my organization. It has in the past
IF it works, I’m going to upgrade soon!
Right now, all I have to do is go put a battery in a Stripped Down Smart Car and I’ll have something to putt around in, is on my ‘revised’ List!
Thanks, again, Joe!,

Regards my Nephew - Josua Kaut.
I’m not expecting anyone to donate. You can if you like. You don’t have to if you don’t want to.
Know that Joshua was one of US.
Thank you in advance for so much as reading this post.

Hello friends!
For those wondering where I’ve been. I’ve just had too much to do and not enough hands or time!
I was prepared to go to the “City” back on the 16th and make a major buy of materials to start building the Attic space (from the bottom up, Lally Columns, Beam material and insulation (Insulation mostly for the poorly insulated Attic space besides the Grow Space)…etc.) in my preparations of Winter and, that very morning my Propane company filled my tank up in preparation of the oncoming Winter and knocked on the door to deliver the bill as I was getting ready to leave.
FIVE HUNDRED F’ing $$$!!!
That shot a YUGE hole in my buying trip. I wound up not buying anything. I couldn’t.
I was expecting a fill up. I know Winter is coming. I know my costs will increase during Winter. I wasn’t expecting it so soon, though. I was expecting it to start around mid-to-late October when the weather really changes around here.
I’ve been busy with other things as well.
I noticed several days ago that the running lights on my car weren’t right. From the outside it looked like one bulb was out (4 bulbs total in tail lights). I have never replaced any of the bulbs back there (NINETEEN years in).
I don’t give Johnny any reason to pull me over, so I bought some LED conversion bulbs.
When I went to install them I noticed the bulb was fried. When I pulled it out of its socket I noticed it was really wet in there and some corrosion had formed…I was really puzzled by that. I went to check to see if the bulbs I bought were the right ones. It turns out I bought the wrong bulbs BUT, what I then discovered was the tail light assembly was HALF FULL of water. It was so full that the level of the water was at light socket level …so completely HALF FULL (and that’s not a small assembly, there was A LOT of H2O in there!)
I never noticed it that before that day. I never looked. Why would a guy!?!?
So, back to square one on 2 out of 2 jobs!
Then, my brother offered to let me trade for or sell a Hotsy Hot Water High Pressure Washer he got at auction to trade or put those potential funds towards the purchase of a Zero Turn Mower. He needs the Kubota where he now lives in his preparation for his Winter.
It was stuffed into the very back of a very cram-packed storage building.
I’m by myself. It’s BIG and awkward. It’s TOP HEAVY. It was on an old wheeled shop cart making it even MORE top heavy.
Once I moved EVERYTHING out of the way to drag it to the doorway, I clumsily got it on the Clamp On Forklift Forks.
It’s not letting my load the 2 Hotsy pictures here for some reason. They’re each under 8MB. Go to other site IF you care to see them, please. Apologies!
I brought it to the 1924 Brick Schoolhouse to clean it up and fire it up to make sure it worked so I could tell the future potential buyer that it worked.
At this point, a few days into the endeavor, I can’t even determine what model it is so I can get the Owner’s Manual to set it up to run it.
The one label I ‘think’ is the Data Placard is Sun-bleached out, I think.
I know it is gas fired but I don’t know what gas. I’m assuming Propane, but it might be Natural Gas.
And, then, I’ve been trying the recent Harvest
One of those strains knocked my D-in-the-Dirt and I can’t figure out which strain it was.
I smoked one of the strains a couple of weeks back and it had me questioning growing something so powerful!
I am pretty sure it was the Tangerine Dream x C99, but I’m not completely sure. BUT, WOW!
All of that is only part of what I’ve been up to, on top of losing my Nephew had me in the dumps for a few days. It really sucks!
My Sister received a Synopsis of the Autopsy today.
Josh had MDMA (Mollie), Meth and Percocet in him. I don’t know the levels of each he had in him BUT with his bad heart I’m not surprised that horrible combination killed him.
Just fucking sad!
I’m sure I’m leaving something or somethingS important out, that’s just he way I roll!
oh, I jammed my right thumb attaching the Forklift Forks to the Front-Loader to get the Hotsy out really bad. Really bad! I had flashbacks of the last time I jammed it so bad. I think it was High School football . Then I went and did it a second time a day or two later! It was all kinds of Purple!
I do hope you are all doing well and fine!

I got to get mine filled yet too. I missed the $1.68 pre buy and am scared to see what it is now.
Hello my friend, @G-paS!
Yeah, I missed the Pre-Buy, too. I thought I was moving permanently.
I don’t remember the pre-buy cost but I know I saw the letter offering the discount.
Stuff is EXPENSIVE!
I hope you and yours well and fine, friend!

I bet its the TD x C99. I was rooting for that one in your grow early on. Welcome back.
Thank you, kind sir @Floyd! Good to see you, too, brother! I hope you and yours are all well and fine!

Hey WHAB!
How’s it going brother?
Yeah… think of this as a ‘wellness check’
Just making sure you’re not pinned under the Kubota or something…
