It said it sent it. I opened it on my phone but now looking at “Photos” on my phone on my PC I don’t find it…it’s not there.

Add Edit: It didn’t go to my “Photos” file. It went to my “Gallery”.

Same thing. I tried to upload it here and it refuses to complete. It gets partly through and restarts again on and on and on and on…ultimately refusing to load it.

PullHair frown

It looks like I lost use of ALL those images.

Will have to start new, it seems, and handle them on my phone differently than I have been and move the older pictures before I get the “Full” warning…

On a positive note; I took these a while back and they’re still on my phone in their original form…not great pictures but hopefully you can see the Purple…it’s there winky

I just tried that same image, the “Second Pass…” image, on MPG, it says it’s too large a file. Can’t open it in any program/app to resize it…

I don’t now anything about this stuff. My Grandson does his best to teach me. I have windows and just plug the phone into the pc and it brings the thing that moves them up. I have never got mine into paint…

I just tried that route - twice. Plugging my phone directly to my PC. As soon as I did and opened the camera app that new Samsung DeX app opened up on my PC and let me move the picture to my PC. But, just as the others, once it’s there is it unusable…it won’t load.

I do appreciate your contribution, my friend, @G-paS!

Thank you tup !,

To try to fill in the Fresh Start blanks. ROFLMAO

After almost 2 weeks, I finally made a deal on a decent floor jack. A Low Profile Dual Piston 3 Ton Liftmaster.

I had given up on it. It was on FB Marketplace. I sent 3 messages starting Oct. 4th and never got a response. When she finally did get in touch with me, 2 days ago, she said her phone crapped out on her.

I took a picture of it this morning, but it doesn’t seem to be on my phone now… confused2 ROFLMAO

This is it but used…

I especially like the Dual Piston and the hand rail there on the side. Can’t remember how many times I have rearranged a floor jack when under the vehicle and there is no hand-grab.

I have seen them as low as $240 and as high as $340(?) or so.

She was asking $150 for this one. I talked her down to $115.

I did get through the second pass. Almost everything I needed to get out of here got out of here.

I have recent laundry out on the workbench - easy pick up. But, besides that and some refining what I have done should complete the disgorging! And, I have to finish the massive island. winky

Oh, the boxes you see in the left of the first picture are ALL paperwork I have to go through…not all are full, a couple have barely any paperwork in it. I need a larger file cabinet…but, I’m going to try and go through the file cabinet and those boxes…down the road! winky

Here is the state of things as of just a few minutes ago.

I just repaired that extension cord in the foreground. It can go to its home, it has a home winky.

Straight ahead in the next image were boxes stacked to the window sill…almost that full length. Now all of the sheet goods I have in the 1924 Schoolhouse are there, they were staged around the massive island…oh, and the auxiliary Festool-ish Multi-Function Slab Shelf.

I was starting to think that the portable closet wouldn’t be enough to hold my clothes. I now think it will. Worked out great in this space.

The boxes beneath are mostly tools or supplies. That will get sorted, too!

But, today…today, I spent all day on the road and a splendid afternoon with friends! tup

I only got back about an hour ago or so. Google maps must have gone through some changes lately. Going out to their place it took me on a route I was unfamiliar with and approaching their place form a different place AND on the way back it took me down roads I have never been on and when I did get to my neck of the woods it had me approach from the West. I have never driven those roads. What’s up Google! ROFLMAO

But, our friend did me a solid with their excess A/C units. I plugged these in this time…BEFORE I packed them all the way here! ROFLMAO

The one on the left in the image below is the twin to the portable A/C unit I have in the loft now. It doesn’t work. Will tear into it soon.

The 2 on the right came home with me today.

Thank goodness for the Wheel! I got both of those units out of my car and into the Schoolhouse by myself. That’s a lot of weight out there in an awkward position to lift them out. That folding Amazon dolly in the second image works a treat!

So, with at least THREE working A/C units (and potentially FOUR (2 of which ‘may be’ Heat Pumps, 1 certainly is! winky), I ‘might’ even be able to enjoy some conditioned air for myself next Summer, whereas the Girls had my only A/C unit with them the entire Summer. What I do for my Girls! ROFLMAO

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR - EVERYTHING, my old friend! tup

These get me through until I can install something more permanent. IF we’re even selling A/C conditioners at that point! There is a chance A/C’s won’t be available, the way things are going now… unhappytdn

Oh, I actually went through some of the pictures I have hear. I have many more, mostly C-17 pictures. I made friends with the McDonnell Douglas (in its many iterations) archivist. I have a lot of neat C-17 pictures…a lot from the Flight Test Program at Edwards Air Force Base.

Time for a 48!

Join me! winky

Yes, that, too!

Some people like a cluttered space, they’re welcome to it. I do not. Some people live that way their entire life’s, and they’re welcome to it.

I have never lived like that. I wasn’t brought up that way. Even though we weren’t brought up that way, some of my family members do live that way, or did live that way - R.I.P. dearest Lanie.

Thanks for piping up, my friend!

Hello @Swe-can wavy

I do, sincerely, thank you for the suggestion!

It didn’t work, though.

Thank you, regardless. tup

I started having a problem uploading. So I read the windows help and if I click on photo in the menu NOT the photo icon in fast start ,it bring up, a window. Than click on import in right upper corner of that window. A drop down menu opens and click on import with cable/device.

Hello my friend, @G-paS !

I’m having a problem understanding what you’re trying to say here…

Click on photo in the menu? What menu, please?

You rockon, btw…if you didn’t already know! winky,

What’s the ‘latest’ dilemma you ask?!?! biggrin

I’m preparing for insulating the attic, at least where the grow space is not.

In preparation, I have to close those gaps on the perimeter of the ceiling panels before I insulate…

I tried to nail it down with my pin nailers. I think they pulled through the no head nail.

My brother has a few nailers. One is a named brand, Senco, but NO MARKINGS indicating its Model Number or which nails it uses. The other is a Chicago Pnuematics nailer, also with NO MARKINGS indicating its Model Number or which nails it uses.

The Senco does work. I couldn’t get the CP nailer to work.

I had to search the new shop 4 times before I found the nails that are in the gun now. At least now I know what it is feeding on now. But, I don’t want or need 3 inch nails just to secure 1/4 inch Luan.

Having trouble transferring images the old way I was doing it. I uninstalled that Samsung Dex before I even tried.

This is a test…I had to bring it up in Windows 10 “Photos” app/program and resize it.

I’m thinking OG2 is rejecting them because of their size…even though the site gives no indication that that is the problem while its trying to upload it. It just spins and spins and spins trying to load an image IT knows won’t load but it won’t tell you. crazy ROFLMAO

What an ordeal, just to post pictures! What a time-suck! frown

Getting back to the topic… winky

These are the gaps that need to be closed, now that I can post images! crazy ROFLMAO. IF I don’t and I lay the insulation in, conditioned air, whether hot or cold, will escape.

These are just 3 of the 4 walls, the ceiling above the loft is opened up still. I never filled the openings. I’ve been puzzling over how to handle the exhaust hoses going through the area and my future plans which includes putting a floor in the attic right where the loft grow space is being exhausted. I have to rejigger things and I’m not entirely sure how I’m going to do that.

I presumed this whole time that my brother would have a nailer I could use on the ceiling panels. These are both auction buys.

I spent literal hours today trying to sort them out and find what they’re feeding them.

The CP nailer did fire once but there was no nail in it and I couldn’t get the few nails that are in the magazine to load up…confused2

The Senco has this marking…

But, I searched and searched and I found that Senco makes AT LEAST a dozen FramePro nailers. All of them have a numeric identifiers after the name - 5??, 600, 601…etc. This one has no such markings.

I even scoured it with my reading glasses under a bright light. No markings. Nothing saying what size nails to feed it.

After I did find the nails it takes, they are 3 inch snipped head nails. They’re not full round heads. Snipped heads are known to pull out. It is not the box my brain is trained to see crazy ROFLMAO

I can’t find shorter full head nails to feed that nailer.

IF I can’t find a nailer in the next few days I’m going to have to buy one frown

I am going to be doing a bit of framing when I get around to it, so having my own nailer is not a bad idea.

I did find one that is a regular nailer but the tip is also interchangeable for a “Metal Connector” nail, the kind used on joist hangers…etc.

It’s a Bostich F21PL.

It’s $200.86. Not an expense I was planning for… frown

I am planning to go buy insulation tomorrow (it’s been raining here so I’ve held off for clear weather). I was planning on spending around $300 on it. That’s ‘approximately’ 1/2 of what I’ll need, not including the Rockwool I’m going to put in the ceiling where the new Bloom Room (floor) will be.

I may have to adjust tomorrow’s buy to make sure I can buy the nailer in the next week or so.

I can’t lay the insulation down without closing those gaps.

I may be able to install the polystyrene vent channels I think I need and put them up…until I can buy the nailer, at least.

I was going to end the post here BUT…

Damn! A late night Spaghetti Sunday just took a bad turn.

I put my spaghetti in the boiling water. Something was floating about in it. I spooned out 3 or 4 when I decided I had to trash the whole thing…

What are they? I’m presuming Boll Weevil since that is really the only thing I know of to call it.

Boiling more water now…

DAMN!

Ok, I’ll try to be clearer.

One, I click on the window icon in lower left corner;

When this comes up. click on photo in the menu (The blue arrow)
NOT the photo icon in fast start. (The blue X)

Next screen click on the Red circle in the upper right corner;:

Last click on the red circle on this Drop Down Menu;

This pops up while bringing over photos phone. They should be .jpeg. If this doesn’t work take the phone back and have them show you.
