WHAB’s 1924 Brick Schoolhouse RDWC

Good advice your coworker gave you! They’re widely used even IF one is not aware of them.

Automotive water pumps have weep holes built in. When the seals go bad the water pump weeps, it’s time to R&R it.

These tools make the job a bit more bearable…

I had to take them off for detailed, precised work…but they were on my grippers the rest of the time I was out there!

I’ll smoke to that too! :person_raising_hand:

So you bought eggs that long ago, and they’re just in the fridge? They might be okay. Might.

This is the only social media site I use. That being OG. But my wife love to post photos of me without my knowledge. I decided I don’t care. Now you know who to expect for lunch!

Those look like some nice gloves! I have huge hands, and can’t find many that are big enough. I need xxl ones and those are hard to come by. Sometimes there’s a pair of XL that will fit, but usually I can’t spread my fingers. And your right. Details require that sense of touch you just don’t get wearing gloves.

Gonna go make dinner now. Probably spaghetti. :yum:

Catch ya later friends! :heart::heart::heart:

I suggested spaghetti for dinner and the reaction I got was just … Mmmmm. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Yeah, the eggs ‘might’ be okay, maybe!

I bought Medium Kinco Frost Breaker Winter Work Gloves and they’re LARGE on me.

Kinco’s X-Large might fit you perfectly.

They’re the warmest work gloves I’ve every tried.

Bon Appétit, my friend!,

Except for balancing the pH, the Girls’ new home is ready to receive them.

The last thing I had to do was open the hole just a little bit with a rotary file for electrical cord on the Vivosun Cloning Machine II pump to pass through it.

Will youS be my Valentine?..

I hope she’S say yeses!

I’ve ran it for a few hours now and that one corner that did leak a little bit is not leaking at all right now.

I hope that solves that issue. IF not, I’m prepared to use 2 light-weight ratchet straps to pull the lid down further compressing the 2 Bulb Seals against each other.

I did check for the sites receiving the most or least amount of spray and they all were exceptional except 1. It is getting spray, just not as much as the others.

I turned the pump on and before I could get all the baskets and pucks in the holes to seal them the top was soaked, just through the holes in the lid.

I think this is going to work quite well, I ‘think’.

One more thing. There have always been 2 holes going through the side of the reservoir put there to run air lines with air stones into the reservoir.

I didn’t use them the last time, in fact…I sealed them shut to prevent water from escaping.

I ‘may’ revive their use, especially since I have a extra dual outlet air pump that won’t be used with the large blue barrel reservoir where it was the sole air compressor servicing the reservoir and the air compressor I used in the 5 gallon Flower buckets will now be in the same space this go round. They were separated, one under-loft and one in the loft.

I didn’t even use 1/2 of the valves available on this pump below on the 6 buckets…

Btw, I have everything I need to isolate any vibration that Vivosun Air Pump may exhibit. The last go round, I placed it with 2 of its feet on the same side on a feed hose up there and that did the trick. Nary a peep except when I would bump it off its perch.

Good morning, friends!

Make it a great day and week! tup

Something I learned with leaks was to ‘fiddle’ with the rotation of the spray nozzles. Even with the 360’s there are two small ‘dead zones’. If you line up those dead zones with the leak, problem solved (usually).
If my case it was the electrical cord exit.
(I don’t want to say how long that took…)

These Girls came out of here…(dude (@Oldjoints) knows his chit! allhail ). Crazy beautiful grow!!!

These are the 2 donors (thank you, Ladies!)…

Afghan Kush… and Bubba Kush…

I calibrated the pH meter before going up to the loft.

pH balancing. I’m more concerned about the heat of the water than the pH, to be honest. (I turned the A/C to face the reservoir and aimed the output vanes to the reservoir, not to the top of the reservoir.)…

The Girls…

Afghan Kush…

Bubba Kush…

Afghan Kush are the back 6, Bubba Kush are front 6.

Make yourselves at home Ladies! winky

I’ll I.D. them individually in a day or two.

I also brought some rooted but de-potted, unsexed Acapulco Gold clones back to the 1924 Schoolhouse (I shared 2 of these de-potted and 4 potted Acapulco Gold unsexed clones (sexing coming) before getting back here).

I think I will rinse the roots and plug them into the empty pucks in Cloning Machine II (I’m pretty sure). I will try and repot the others (may pot them all - maybe put them in the 2 gallon Veg buckets, IF I can get them running QUICKLY! I don’t remember now how many I have remaining, I think 4 total).

I’ll sleep on it! Yeah, right…sleep! ROFLMAO

Thank you ever so much my quite generous friend! tup

Long day!

Good morning!

Make it a great day! tup

I just recently got back to the Schoolhouse to discover the breaker the Cloning Machine II and A/C circuit were on was popped.

I don’t know how long it was off.

I hope the Girls survive! They don’t look good.

Have you mapped the electrical circuits in the building yet?
It’s a PITA but very useful for planning loads. I mark the loads on my equipment - yeah, I know… OCD… :vulcan_salute: but semi-useful.
Also, don’t load a breaker more than 80%. They can get twitchy in that last 20%

Are you an electrician @Gpaw ? I used to be, but I can’t do one thing for too long. Although electrical work is a passion of mine. I still remember most of the code, from 2004 -5. I still do odd jobs for folks, and still love it.

Not quite, my background was power electronics & mechanical engineering. My nephew is a master electrician though. That’s definitely a better career path these days. :+1:

I should have stuck with it. Definitely would be in a better spot monetarily, but as the old saying goes, the best electricians are either dead or retired.

I enjoy other skilled trades as well. I was a welder for a couple years. Welders do it in all positions. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Most recently I honed my woodworking skills. Well for the past ~9 years.

I need to get my plans for my LED light together and if you’ve got a minute, I might ask you to look them over. I know you have some interest in those from all the input I hear from you in threads on here.

For sure!

I’ve been considering building more lights myself.
I used 1" aluminum angle for the frame for the first one. Now I’m familiar with the running temperatures, I’m thinking of using wood for the frame next time.

Hello friend! wavy

To some degree, yes.

All of the electric in the 1924 Schoolhouse is new. All of it is in EMT (Electric Metallic Tube) - easy to trace. All of it is clearly identified in the Service Panel. Except for some minor tweaking, it is accurate.

My mistake?

I had forgotten I had the A/C on it’s own outlet above the clothes washer, completely separate from anything in the loft of under-loft.

When I plugged everything back in I plugged the A/C in with everything else and that alone created the circuit to break.

My bad!

I, too, am very aware and cautious about loads.

I’m no electrician but I am familiar with the concepts and how they should work.

Thanks for contributing to the discussion, brother! tup

You rockon, sir!,
