Wow! That takes forever!
I had not been up in the loft since I was up there after the ‘potential’ disaster.
Whether I went up there then or not would not have made a difference.
They were either going to live through it or not.
Besides, I had other things holding my attention.
They’re ALIVE and looking AMAZING!
First, I got the additional AcuRite Remote Sensor in.
Don’t mind the temps in the “Loft”. I have been watching the temperatures from the classroom and did notice things were warmer than I would have liked to have seen.
I went up there to hook up the AC Infinity T6 again and saw that the A/C exhaust hose was exhausting back in to the Loft.
I didn’t know until I just went up there that when I moved the A/C unit to blast the Cloning Machine II reservoir I accidentally pulled the exhaust hose out of the ceiling.
And, I know I pointed the A/C duct towards the reservoir but for some reason it moved on its own and was blowing directly on the Girls. I adjusted it again.
When I left them the other day they all looked like the 2 in the back left of this picture…
They were ALL laid flat over.
That is how I expected to find them tonight.
I was so disgusted with myself I didn’t take a picture of them then…
Except for being a bit wind-blown
They’re looking fantastic!
I knew then, the other day, that IF they made it they would show that within hours.
I was so disgusted with myself that I didn’t want to go up there!
Here are current environments (after redirecting the exhaust duct out of the space)…
So, it’s game time!
Thanks for everyone looking in! It is appreciated!
And, thank you, again, @Oldjoints!
I forgot to mention the other day that he also sent me back to the Schoolhouse with a pack of grab-bag seeds.
I’ve been thinking of those since I thought I killed the Girls.
I was running through my overripe melon what I was going to have to do to fill Cloning Machine II again!
Now, !<

that is the caddillac of cloners right there
That’s the truth. I need to get my stainless steel cloner built.
Yes, she’s a beaut!
All thanks to a Planet Ganja friend who built it and shipped it to me gratis!
Who I’d like to thank them again personally. But, I don’t think they’re around any longer.
Shame!
Thanks for your contribution to the discussion, @thenasty1!

Have you made any more progress on your time piece? I have dreams about it.
Hey brother!
Progress on the actual device? No. I am contemplating whether or not I should buy a non-abrasive silver polishing cloth or let the masters handle it.
The logistics on getting it in to your hands upon my demise, yes…

Drove to Kansas City today and there were cars all over the place on the sides of the roads. There’s was a good amount of snow out here.
Still thinking harrisonville is a good midway point?
I’m gonna see what is around there for lunch.
I had to relocate that A/C unit up there again. It was blasting the Girls directly again. I spun it away from Cloning Machine II.
While I was up there I installed a submersible temperature gauge.
Beside that, today, I’ve been the household appliance technician!
I let my Niece’s daughter use the washing machine. Something happened to it. I’m not sure what.
My Niece’s daughter squeezed the water out of the clothes and threw them in the dryer.
The dryer belt broke…
I suspect the load was just too much for the dryer. Or, the belt was just ready to break…
I fiddled with the washer and got it going - I don’t know what. I ran it through 2 full cycles.
I am scheduled to pick up that Rockwool Insulation at Lowe’s tomorrow - finally!
I’m still making that round trip, to Lowe’s, to the place to pick up the blue barrels and the 3 wheelers.
It looks like Lowe’s has ONE dryer belt to fit this dryer.
I’m going to buy the dryer belt (IF it is the correct one) along with hinge pins (I’m bringing a hinge half with me) for the antique under-loft door.
I’m having dinner there, so I don’t know when I’ll get back here - although, they know I’d rather not drive at night.
That thing is really something!

Yeah, I was expecting the roads today would be worse than they were.
For most things, IF you are able, better road conditions are worth waiting for, imo.
I still think Harrisonville is a good spot…unless you have something else in mind. I’m open.
Let me know what you discover. A good Vegetarian/Carnivore dining establishment would be great - for both of us!
I did find a Pizza place but that was before I knew of your dining habits!

A slight change in plans…actually, it’s a giant change in plans.
My sister’s house burned down this morning.
I was told the house was leveled - total loss, along with its contents.
She’s in the hospital - smoke inhalation being the primary issue and a 2nd degree burn on her hand. She is up and around. They’re just holding her for observation. They’re supposed to be holding her until Monday, I was told.
I contacted the Red Cross for her.
I stopped by there before going to Lowe’s. I had to pick up my order by “close of business today” or Lowe’s said they’d “cancel it”.
Insert Unavailable Picture Here!
Then there was no way I was going to load up my trailer and leave it unattended in a parking lot anywhere in any “city”- right now.
I will have to make arrangements to pick up those items soon as I know there has been a bit of theft occurring there even before the fire.
Joshua had some pretty flaky “friends”!

OMG man! I’m so sorry to hear that. I’m about to be driving for an hour, but I’ll be back to see if I can help to do anything. Howd that start? I always worry when I leave my stove with some coals in it.
Oh damn dude… Sorry to hear of your sisters troubles, but at least she made it out. The house can be replaced, she can’t… Damn though, the thought of losing everything would crush me…
The sentiment is worth as much as any action. Thank you, my friend!
No idea how it started…yet. I suspect that IF there is a fire investigation that will be determined.
She wasn’t using the fireplace. She seems to think it started under her coffee table. She had fallen asleep on the couch.
I didn’t pepper her with questions, those can be answered at a later date.
Thanks, again, brother!

One thing that did work out as I had hoped yesterday…
I was able to make the trip to the “city” and made it back to the 1924 Schoolhouse before dark, barely!
And, I didn’t realize the actual dimensions of these packages of Rockwool. They’re BIG (bulky)!
And, they’re heavier than I anticipated.
But, they’re in…
I also did buy some hinge pins…they don’t seem to be the exact diameter for the hinges but they should work until I can find the correct diameter pins.
I did buy a dryer belt and got it installed last night.
Domestic Appliance Repair complete!
I’m still not sure what I did to get the washer working again. The only possibility I can come up with is that the lid lock wasn’t engaged.
When I got it working the night before I wanted to watch it work for a minute or two. I used a butter knife in the lid lock to do that. While I didn’t notice anything amiss with the lid lock at the time - I wasn’t looking for any problem there - upon reflection, it is the only thing that ‘seems’ to have made a difference. The only thing that was done differently than the other things I tried that didn’t work.
I did mean to buy some Electrical Contact cleaner and juice the Timer with it. I watched a YT video of a guy fixing his timer that way. I forgot to pick a can up. IF it acts up again that is exactly what I’ll do.
Minor update regards my sister; the Red Cross provided her with a $500 debit card. She’s not sure about housing. I did suggest she stay on them regards housing.
There is a bedroom available in the main house here. I’m not sure what she wants to do.
Now, where was I? ,
WHAB
Sorry to hear about the house, I am glad your sister injuries are only to her hand, it could have been much worse. I am not minimizing the fact she was injured.
Hello friend!
I wouldn’t taking it as minimization of her injuries. As you said, it could have been much, much worse - as bad as it was.
Thank you for the sentiment, @Tejas!

I was going to hold off asking my sister about the things she’s allowed me to pick up until her life settled down for a minute.
But, this was posted on FB today…
That is her property. The “Barn” where the 3 wheelers are are in that barn, to the right of the pop-up camper…the house (what was the house) is behind the camera.
I did ask her a little while ago. She said I could.
Turns out dude is a Volunteer Firefighter.
Still, things have been coming up missing since Joshua passed away.
I will try and get over there tomorrow. I still have the trailer hooked up. Then I have a Eye appointment in the “City” the next day.
