WHAB’s 1924 Brick Schoolhouse RDWC

I was gonna say. We would sand down sheets of foam to fit to giant doors to reduce their weight it keep them insulated. Sanding seems to works great, except the static that it causes with the foam. :yum:

Good morning, my friend! wavy

Yeah, it is proving itself a right mess! Good thing I have TWO great vacuums! winky

Oh, friend…what till you see what I bought a while back and I’m still waiting on it but, it looks pretty cool!

More benchdogs.co.uk

I think it will be @Rhino_buddy approved! winky

It’s time. I gotta run!

Make it a great day, brother! tup

Called for rain. I didn’t look at weather forecast yesterday when plans were developed.

Dang! I don’t have rain gear. I don’t even have a water resistant jacket.

Those benchdogs look nice! Hope they’re quality.
What exactly did you pick up from them? They have nice tools. Maybe it’ll live up to a starrett, or Nielsen.

How far from Barnett, MO are you? I gotta pick up a hoop house there at some undetermined time. 🤷

Yes, they make amazing instruments! Excellent quality! Exacting quality!

I was going to show you before I told you. I thought my delivery would be in May. Now I see it is June. I’m in the 3rd Batch.

So, here it is… Quad MFT Hinge System. It is like Festool’s hinged guide rail system but BETTER.

A distance of a 2 hour drive. That would be a great place to meet, brother, saving us both a little drive time!

But, I’ve pondered this over the time we have exchanged posts and messages. I know who you are. I know you’re not a flake. I have a certain level of trust in you.

You are welcome to the Schoolhouse any time.

We can meet there or you are welcome here.

High regards,

Another change of plans.

I’m going back to the burned property after my Ultrasound tomorrow.

I’m dragging my EMPTY trailer in the opposite direction from the property then dragging my EMPTY trailer to the property.

I’m grabbing some more things I’m sure I can use and some I know I can’t use but others may.

Speaking of which, @Rhino_buddy or @Oldjoints

There was a stack of a lot of new metal building materials. I didn’t do an inventory but I did notice there was about a dozen of one profile and several of another, both very long. I’ll get a better idea of what is there, that is all I saw while quickly looking around. Some I am pretty sure are corner pieces, that ‘may be’ post covers, boxing in a post with a metal cover…

There is a standard height galvanized steel man gate with its wood post hinge pins. It’s a bit buried but what I saw looked quite serviceable.

There is BUNCH of Black PVC piping. It is glued together BUT they are very long lengths and good long lengths would result from a few cuts.

@Rhino_buddy do you need any large tomato cages?

Free to my friends.

IF my friends don’t want them I’ll put them on Craigslist and any or all of those funds will go to my Sister, not me.

As an aside to yesterday’s post about theft.

I have now been told they weren’t stolen. Someone who picked them up for my sister took them somewhere else and didn’t tell anybody but still plan to deliver them here some time today, I am told.

We’ll see.

Glad those weren’t stolen. What about the copper?

I’m interested in the building materials. Take some pictures for me. If I were to get some of those mats, I’d definitely take some tomato cages too.

Good luck with the ultrasound, and safe travels tomorrow.

Copper wiring, you mean?

What mat’s. The ones in the Bloom Room?

I’ll get pictures of all that is there tomorrow.

You’re welcome to as many tomato cages as you can haul! tup

I haven’t heard back from either neighbor regards to the cages so as of right now there are about 30 available. Since I did offer some of them to them first they do have first claim or claims.

I hope you understand.

Thank you!

Materials. Metal building materials.

No worries on the cages. :+1:

Yeah. That copper.

Ah…Roger on the “mat’s” winky

You are welcome to as many cages as you want. I just have to honor my word to the neighbor I spoke to yesterday. I at least got a “I’ll ask my wife” from him. I have not heard anything from the other neighbor, so he has no claim as of right now.

I don’t believe I’ll be stripping any wire out.

The property is solid. They are going to rebuild on the buried cinder block foundation…walkout basement type of foundation.

An Oops and an Ah…

Oops…it’s that twisted stud that I farther mangled.

It is (or was) a carbide blade. I haven’t tried to cut with it yet, but I ‘think’ I see a new 10 inch Miter Saw Blade in my future! winky

The Ah…

I muscled that beast up there. I ‘hope’ it stays up there - either in whole form or dispersed through the future structure!

Update on the girls soon. I’m going to try and take some pictures of the roots.

Oh…I forgot this the other day and continued forget it.

I know the Girls will survive. I knew it the other day.

I’m going to prepare the Girls’ jewelry! winky

I hope you’re ALL making it a wonderful evening!

I almost missed the Feeding.

After taking some pictures of the Sad Girl, roots and foliage, I took time to grab that Tripod setup I made last year.

There is no good way to hold a plant with one hand hit the shutter button at the same time. It’s difficult, at least for me it is…I don’t know about your good folk.

The Sad Girl was the worst. It’s roots were a well formed Tan Brown to Light Brown. Not good!

But, even she is coming around.

Except for the composing, all the work is done. Just waiting on Mr. Gates and whomever invented/founded/ran Samsung to allow my images to transfer! ROFLMAO

I went all yesterday and late into the night without a single hiccup. The transfers were flawless. Now not even close to transferring.

And then, they’ll be ready by the time I’ve composed this post.

Well, I was partly right.

The very last image I took is available…

…the SIXTEEN images taken before that one are not available as I type this sentence and load the image.

I’ll be back when the powers that be allow me to complete a simples task.

Apologies!

Add: it is making the images available in reverse order!

crazy crazy crazy

Put those first 5 sentences to memory! ROFLMAO I probably won’t repeat that work!

All the pictures are available except the first 2-1/2 images.

Two images, different plants…

maybe I should give her a minute more?

I will try and wait. I want them in order.

HA! It’s down to only 1 image not available!

The numbers 2-1/2 hours ago facepalm

Res. Temps…

pH of 5.8…

It’s bouncing between 1.2 and 1.4. So 1.3…

In clockwise order starting with the runt. The first set of numbers are sequential order through this thread. The second set of numbers are paired up numerically.

Bubba Kush 01 - The one whose roots were pretty brown, and all clustered together…

Bubba Kush 02 -

Bubba Kush 03 -

Afgan Kush 04 -

Afghan Kush 05 -

Bubba Kush 06 -

I have noticed that while the roots growing their starting lean in toward the Drain Hole. Gonna keep an eye on that.

I see now I should have put them in the order I wanted instead… ROFLMAO

Their jewelry should help!

They are in correct order now.

Then I had this…

What am I going to do with that??? I wasn’t sure until tonight. While I was waiting for this thing to kick its own butt!

I came up with this…

The rest - those lengthwise cut-offs…

…should be easy winky

I’m going to try and get that up there and TRY to get a few quick shelves made by tomorrow. I’m taking my trailer with me anyway - and hopefully assuage my a minute portion of my sister’s pain

We’ll see.

I did ask if she wanted to keep it in its smoke damages condition. That’s all I asked her. She ‘may’ have wanted to.

She doesn’t. I was hoping she’d say that.

I better get started! urlate

I forgot something. Not really a big deal but will save me a little rework down the road.

I got them all tetris’d out and realized I hadn’t filled the gaps I said I needed to do.

The Orange cord is going away soon. The Black cord is going up to the Loft. That way, either it’s down here or up there in the attic, they’ll be easily accessible 240V. I’m leaving that last area open until that is done. I’ll box it all out later.

This is the area needing filled…

Oh, I tried a feature I started seeing a few months ago, it asks you if you want to switch to “Night Mode”. I never tried it before.

I took these picture with the light off to accentuate the gaps but now in night mode.

Filled…

More Tetris, Re-Tetris! innocent

I left an end open.

Only one Industrial Accident. Not bad for that amount of erg.

winky

The box here, the scrap wood stand?

It’s my Surround Sound Speakers. 1996 Onkyo’s. They’ve been bouncing around since I got them out of storage a long time ago. I was hoping I could easily repair the Onkyo Head I showed before.

I am thinking about placing them where the ‘would go IF’ I had the Head Unit, at least they’re HOME and I can get rid of that box, at least. I’ve been Craigslisting for one locally. None have forced me to go get it, yet.

Better move…

…maybe I’ll get the shelves made. ‘Maybe’.

Oh, I took that picture of the Cal-Mag and spray bottle because I’ve been considering Foliar spraying them…for the Nitrogen boost.

After taking a good look at them - top to bottom…I think they’re coming around.

And, I decided tonight that since they are making the turn, I’ll flip them to Veg tomorrow night, barring any unforeseen circumstances! winky.

I’ll run it on the 120V until the 240V is in. I wanted to wait until then. I tried to wait til then. They don’t want to wait any longer, I do believe.

Oh, I still have to learn that new 240V timer…

Maybe wood selection this morning! ROFLMAO

In under 1/2 hour, floor vacuumed and I have a Woodshop - with the Festool-ish Multi-Function Slab is back in action.

It is reversed from how I took it apart. Just for the heck of it. See how it works. I thought about trying this a while ago. But, now with the BenchDogs.co.uk Quad MFT Hinge System coming I can see how their ‘might’ be a little more meat on that side to support anything on that edge. BenchDogs says that slab is enough as long as wherever you add the two additional 20mm holes it’s measured to their instructions. They make a Quad MFT Hinge System Hole Jig to aid in that process. I bought it, too. I don’t have time to lay it all out and guess at drilling a hole through it, even though I could. I was an expert Blueprint Interpreter in the aviation/aviation manufacturing industry.

I just have to move that fence, Fence Dogs and all. When I move it it will register in the precise location from where from the holes you just took it out of, at a precise location off the end of the fence for the guide rail to precisely locate and it’s self a perfect 90 degree from the fence for the Festool TS75 to precisely run down.,

While I was just putting it back up I decided to check the Slab for straightness. It is convexed just a tiny on that surface you see. It is bowing up slightly. I thought while I was there I’d check that part of the floor for flatness. This is a slight little hump right there…

Looking like Material Selection is all the farther I’ll get this morning before I have to lay down.

A little tokie then staring at a bit of Red Oak…

…this should go well! crazy ROFLMAO

Even in rough form it is quite nice to look at!

Good morning!

Make it a great day! tup

Okay, just gonna stop with the tokie and get back at it when I get back later today.

I did run into a situation as soon as I laid the fence in place.

I used to have an extra row of Dog Holes behind the BenchDogs Fence for the BenchDogs Guide Rail Dogs that the Guide Rail indexrd off of… It may not be a problem but it is different right off.

But, on a positive note: That Festool-ish Multi-Function Slab came with a slot on one end of the bench for bench-storage of your Festool CT 36 Dust Extraction hose.

I’ve never been able to use it. It’s always been on the other side because the Festool Dust Extractor was always on the wrong side.

We’ll see how this rides.

I need 11-1/4 inch width shelves. I know I have the material to do it with one glue joint.

Ain’t that beautiful!?!?

However, it is currently Red Oak Island.

I don’t have easy access to it. That A/C my brother gave me that was in the window to the far right, and I removed it in the Fall…it’s on the floor to the Right of the image and I just put that rigid foam to the Left of it and the Festool CT 36 Dust Extractor is left of it. I just have to roll it out. I’m spent.

Good morning! tup

Electrician is here. He was here when I got here. He’s moving a light switch and 2 ceiling fans, they were installed on the WRONG side of the doorway…who puts a light switch on the hinge side of a door!!! facepalm

Won’t be getting the 240V tonight, I’ll run it on the 120V until then.

When I said I would make the switch today, I forgot I didn’t have door installed yet! ROFLMAO

I am going to have the extraction fan set up BEFORE I flip the switch!

I did get the rigid 6 inch ducting parts I’ll need, I should have all I need… Gonna try and get that done, then I have to get that door hung.

Still shooting for today.

I did get over to my Sister’s place, too.

Those tomato cages, upon closer inspection, are wire fence cut into sections and their own cut end twisted onto itself. They’re about 5 feet tall.

Those metal building materials are actually Commercial Rain Gutter, with the downspouts…big downspouts.

@Rhino_buddy, do you have any interest in Commercial Rain Gutters?

I did not bring them with me back to the Schoolhouse. IF you want them I’ll go back and get them for you.

I did get the Blue Board Drywall - 5 4x8 sheets.

I have to try and get those off the trailer tonight, first…I see rain in the forecast.

I’m just waiting for the electrician to get finished.

Oh, images are not available the last time I checked, moments ago. I had been trying since I got back 3 hours ago! confused2

I do see they made some behind the scene changes again. Improving its use doesn’t seem to have rated attention! ROFLMAO

I’ll be back! I think. I’m exhausted, sore and hungry!

Electrician just left.

We talked about the modified plans, basically I want all the outlets in the Under-Loft space in the ceiling. That will get rid of SOME of these tripping hazards. Then I am having it put a 4 120V outlet box in
the attic for the fans.

That’s fanS @Gpaw, After our exchange the other day, I’ve pretty much decided to run 2 fans up there. The one T6 and then a 6 inch Booster Fan to assist the A/C exhaust fan.

What do you think of that idea? I was looking at this one…RAXIAL S6, Inline Booster Duct Fan with Speed Controller, 6-Inch - AC Infinity But, I am not a fan (pun) of the fan’s controls. I’m not going up there to adjust it.

Any ideas on that, my friend?

I think all I’m going to get done tonight is dragging that drywall off the trailer and bring in that new ducting.

I’m hurting. Gonna rollitup before I do anything!
