I gave a pack to a friend on discord. If/when she gets to growing them I’ll send you pics here. I still have the last pack, been looking at meetings and events for someone to surprise with them lol

Oh that’s cool! I like the packaging. Would definitely hang on my wall in the grow room I imagine having some day.

If you had to pick 4 different micron sized bubble bags, what sizes would you choose? @InTheWoods

I’m looking at a 220 work bag, and then a 160, 120, 90, and 45 for collection. Is that good enough coverage?

Build your own bag bundle

I like that you can pick whatever sizes you want, but that doesn’t help me decide what’s best

Some green gets through the work bag, so I would choose the 220,160 90 and 45. I personally use 220, 120 and 45 for dried material and only collect from the 45.

The dark is the 120

I have a question, forgive my ignorance

If I plan on pressing the material, does separating the material by size matter?

Is it better to press say the 90 and 45 pull separately or together.

I do them together and use parchment paper and ceramic stove top to make Temple balls . That’s why I omit the 90 bag . You can do it separately but you will smoke the 90 first and be left with the 45. I didn’t see alot of difference.

I only use 3 bags, 220 as work, 90u and 25u. Very simple and bullet proof.
The 90u is the gold. Originally I thought it was the 73u but @JoeCrowe told me that more stalks than caps.

Here is the video of the method from Joe I use. Very lite agitation no vortex forming while mixing.

Hey bud. If you are just going to press it you don’t need bubble bags. Just get screens or a trim bin and dry sift it. When you press it through the press bags it cleans it up. If you are making hash, bags are better for that. If you use screens to dry sift it’s best to do when everything is cold as possible and it’ll will be really easy

Appreciate all the info. Still haven’t decided what route imma go. I was thinking washing cuz you dont need to dry the material yeah? Just chop and wash. That’s kinda what I was going for. But of course I’m gonna do some experimenting and stuff

I have a dry sift box, was brainstorming some other stuff.

Do the stalks not contain THC? I’d think they would but I’m no expert lmao

Here is where I’m a student of. Incredible knowledge with epic experiments combined with microscopic imagery. Prepare to melt :joy:

For what I understand, For bubble hash we are targeting the Caps only. Frenchie methods like to collect all types of trichomes. This method only targets the caps which is holding the terps and thc.

If I remember right, I think their or 4 types of Trichs and not sure if the other 3 hold much thc, could hold other stuff. I really enjoy this way because its low cost, less work (using drill) and the rewards are delicious.

@VAkish True, It would be more effort for a similar outcome.
