I had someone older than me tell me their age calling me a snob🤣Why i basically only associate with growers because they know the truth. 9 out of 10 times someone posts weed on reddit it’s trash, why wonder why so many good people left, Reddit is terrible! I swear shitty weed is causing people to be braindead!

in my state we got a company that uses a retractable roof in their grow rooms, best of both worlds

I put my time in smoking schwag off the brick. best shit always smelled like lemon pledge and pine sol, rocky mt grown. any thoughts on what strain it coulda been? woulda been early 2000s grown around Denver, I was told it was crazy popular, not a lot to go on but some of yall are just that knowledgeable

yeah, if it hasn’t been bred out of existence. jeeze… the phenos i’m missing are listed in my profile: “sativas: colombo green, panama red, acapulco gold, and kona gold (ca 1991) or some good mexican dirt weed (ca 1970s), maybe some skunk, (ca 1985).” There was also some thai stick, that i forgot to add, and other stuff. The Mexican that everybody calls brick weed, we called dirt weed, was also a good high, almost always. There were a couple phenos of that that were mentioned by my dealers back then: Michoacan, and Oaxacan come to my mind. Also back in 1968 i finally got some good smoke for about a year back then, dunno what name it was. I bought it from a Mexican dealer, it was seedy, stemmy, but was not compressed, and if i remember it wasn’t brown color, it was greener than most “brick” or “dirt” weed we were getting around that time. Some of the best, laughingest stuff ever. And smooth as silk, loved the taste of it. Shit man i was only 19 back then. We’d smoke it, listen to Hendrix/Cream/the Dead, get munchies eat everything in the house, and start all over again. That was not an unusual saturday w/m’bros back then. Then my kitchen would be out of food, so we’d jump in their car and go buy burgers or donuts, come back to my place, and well, yanno…rinse and repeat, as they say.

When i started highschool 15 years my first connection was from a classmate that would always have imported or homegrown. I used to get landrace as mids all the time. Then a few years later those days ended for me when medical/weed took off. I miss the those days so much!

see that’d not be my situ. i’m so much older, i started in 1968. then quit for uh…25 years or so until it was finally legalized. I’d qual for med but don’t wanna get on their list, so just buy the rec at the dispo. I’d LOVE to GROW, but i doubt many in this board would dare grow in my neighborhood. So i don’t. I don’t know any growers, except in here, and i dunno anybody in here. And it wouldn’t matter if i did, cuz i wouldn’t dare try to purchase from anybody in here unless i wanna go back to jail for weed again. NO TY. I think it’s good to qualify ourselves here. I"m 75, you’re probly 35 or 40. Then we know what we’re talking about with one another. We know who’s had landrace, and we know by the time span who’s had med/rec/legal smoke.
