Not sure if this is what’s happening, but you can allocate hardrive storage to be used as RAM, virtual memory, think its called ‘pagefile’.
I used to do that years ago when only had like 2gb of ram (top of the range at the time 
).

I remember the days of 512mb ram being the business laptop is running smooth anyway. Not tried to render anything just yet. Just got setup in the caravan for the week. So gonna play in the day. And do some stuff at night time towards the next budcast

OG news is in the making today. Or the learning is anyway. Figuring out the news studio backdrop to suit OG news and been watching tutorials on davinci resolve 18 chroma key editing. Think I’ve about got the jist of that. Trying to find free backdrops for a news studio is the tricky bit ha

I will be doing. Quite a lot of this is to test my learning capabilities too. The editing side of things I’m really enjoying. This thread has kind of become a place for my ramblings on the subject as I think about and always a hive mind response to say yay or nay.
I am trying to get as many people involved as possible. I do really wanna do a videos of pets section. Mainly because I want to see @Jetdro GSDs frolicking in the water.
@medmanbrand is happy to come on and talk about his lamdrace work. With a video tour of his grow. I’m excited.

Got an in studio interview on the next episode too. Alongside an over zoom interview. Looking for a decent autocue to read the news from. And I might see if I can get a green screen today. Or a green blanket or some shit to practice the chroma key stuff

my son painted his entire room green, took about a gallon. do a wall, you won’t regret it. and put a magenta light behind you facing the wall to take away the sharp outline.
