Nice structure…that thing girl is happy! Look at those leaves reaching for light.
Want to describe the smells?
Looking for pepper pollen?

Not yet on this one Another week and I think it’ll be stinky enough and I’ll have had enough time to think about it. Right now, it’s something berry/fruity and a lot of other stuff going on as well.
Hopefully I can get the black pepper smell from a male. If not, I’ll just use the best looking ones and my best black pepper female and lock it down further on inbreeding.
Let’s go! Excited to see where this goes.
I want a seat on the black pepper train
Black Leb x Black Afghani? Wouldn’t that make her the Great Black Hope😉? Just sayin’…
Probably not until the F2 generation.
@lefthandseedsit looks like some lay you down buds you are about to create! I’ll definitely be along for the ride!! Great work.
Coming into the end of flowering for these two survivors. The first plant has probably 2 weeks still, and the 2nd plant is probably about 1 week out. The 2nd plant is the one that tossed a bunch of nanners, but no balls. I won’t be keeping any seeds from her though. If I do keep any, it will have to come from the 2nd, so we’ll continue to monitor her. But so far so good on that one.
Got my set to do selections on. 10x BlackDak (pepper) x 88G13 from @man-bot on the left side. 10x BlackDak fems on the right side. So far so good.
Stocking up for some future projects. 3 strains from Afghan Selections, the Kundoz comes from Sinbudd on IG who did a nice looking run with good male selection. And last the Kandahar Black by way of Dirty Bird, which is Bodhi Kandahar Black x USC Black Afghan.
I like the tree shape in picture #1, did you shape that or is it natural?
That’s just the natural structure. I have so much more vertical space in my tent now, I just wanted to let these go and see how they did without training.
I still have a few of these seeds. Throwing some in towel tomorrow morning. I’m not sure if I ever knew the true power behind the seeds. I knew the bad is knockout stuff…not sure if I knew anything about the dakin kush though! Definitely Italy popping some tomorrow!
Oh yea, if you’ve got the BD, you’ll enjoy it, I promise.
Another week of waking up for these little pepper babies. There’s certainly a lot of family resemblance. I think they’re just about to start picking up. Might be time to space them a bit.
I’m trying the rockwool croutons on these. I’ve turned my flood frequency way down to once every 12h. Even still, it could probably go once per day. A bit of a different animal than hydroton. I’ve just been holding steady at 1.1EC. Will probably give them a squirt of TM-7 today or tomorrow. Maybe I’ll bump up the EC just a hair to 1.2 or 1.3.
This is the one throwing lots of nanners, and finishing first. It’s ready to take down any day now. I’ve been lowering the EC in the main res, but this one is done with the nutes completely. Not a keeper, but smells nice.
This one may be a keeper. I need to do a thorough inspection for stamen, but it’s by far the cleanest of the 8 females I started with. She’s turning black in a spectacular fashion, with some double serrations and leaf mutations. The resin has some pretty wild smells too – my best guess right now is pine, eucalyptus and berry. Very pungent, unusual terpenes.
So far, I think that Lebanese and Afghans can compliment each other very well. I think I’ll do some more experiments in the future. The Lowland Afghan might be another one I’d try with the black leb.
Oh wow those look amazing!
Doing great work as always amigo. I’m hoping to run some more of those black domina x jungle spice soon…
Fat looking leaf! Like the look of that plant
Be interesting to see those same comparisons at 30 days. What is the RH in your ‘tent’?
Awesome plants very nice and clean .
Those are some nice broadleaf babies you got goin.
