2 lbs 10-1/2 oz. This one is organic plus a little salts in a foliar spray.
I never had the heart to pluck off all but 1 or 2 to get a super large one. We love our BLTs way too much!

The are some cultures that have a rich history of eating insects. @Foreigner os right too, not much difference from lots of seafood that are more widely regarded as delicacies.
A Good entry point can be sal de gusano, especially for those who like tequila or mezcal. It is ground up cactus worms and chili mixed with salt, often sprinkled on an orange slice served along side a glass of mezcal.
Chapulines (grasshoppers) are really approachable when ground into salsa, and even as a crunchy bar snack if you can get over that mental hurdle.
Both Mexican and Thai cuisine have an omelette with ant eggs, that is one mental hurdle I have yet to make it over. Not sure why, just seems more texturally challenging.
What tomato variety is that?
I had pretty good luck plugging the mescal bottle with my tongue, when the worm floats to the bottom chug a few gulps worm and all.
Worked much better than chewing
That looks like a mutant 'mater-
It is a variety called Big Zac. A lot of large tomatoes donāt have good flavor but this one is excellent!
A slice of tomato extends an 1" all the way around the bread on a BLT.
If you flush properly the only difference is yield
What are you flushing?
The entire system gets emptied, surfactant poured down the blocks, emptied again, then run on straight up water for the last week and a half. Once nitrogen deficiency sets in visibly and the plant starts to blow through its stored up nutrients, itās about a week out from flushed. Timed right, you end up with fine white ash as your byproduct from smoking.
Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish has given me good results, too.
hey those nutrients are ph buffered, right?
The connoisseur line is. I never had a problem with pH correcting, especially since itās hydro. It kind of comes with the territory.
I see that argument all the time, finally heard a great response to it; do you know the logistical nightmare let alone the cost of sending food to all of the hungry people in the world even if everyone donated their time and all the food. Was trillions of dollars. Fuck, I wish I remembered where I saw that.
Anyways, we should feed our LOCAL hungry. Think globally, act locally, donāt just expect āthe worldā to take care of itā¦ not that Iām a using anyone. Justā¦ you know, sometimes you gotta say it.
Iāve grown hydro, coco, soil and soil less. Chemical and organic. Now Iām using a mixture of both and it works wonderfully for me.
Iām sure thereās lots that wouldnāt agree with me but me and the people around me like the results.
sorry, did not realize my response had got a reply, Iām always slow, for some reason or another. personally, It really doesnāt matter, pain relief, is freaking pain relief. some may feel harsh towards me for saying this, but if the pills still worked for me, Iād probably still be doing them. had skeletal and muscular problems since the early '80s. must have tried most every pain wrap, brace, patch, acupuncture, surgery, p.t., pill and pain patch, that is known to man or lab rat alike, have mercy!
was taking so much, Dr. said he had to cut back to a human level of the stuff that had stopped working many years ago. so, I stopped and took matters into my own hands, so to speak. now I can mix and match my own prescriptions.
regards,
I saw a good friend the other day and he could barely walk due to a back problem. He came to me almost in tears saying how the pills are making him sick and he was just in misery. I busted out some nug and he took 4 rips off a bowl. 10 minutes later he got up twisted his back and said the pain is gone. Then an hour later he was diggin in my fridge. Lol. I loved it! He doesnāt make much so I gave him an ample supply. This plant is truly a gift from Godā¦
I dont really think the plant cares. My weed tastes great and I use npk salts in dwc. If I were growing outdoor Iād go organic just for the long term cost savings and environmental friendliness. In my house though, I donāt want bugs, manure, or stinky compost. I just run my sterile res with salts and my plants grow. Eventually Iāll have a vegetable garden out front that I can use my res dumps on but till then it goes to the lawn
I tried fried scorpion when I went to Thailand. Kinda tasted like crab.
The thing is; one system relies on living, diverse vitality as a medium for growth; and the other relies on a mechanistic sterilized, mono-culture based system of control. So yeah, obviously one is better than the other
Sorry @vernal; I think your on the wrong team
Canāt argue with belief in Vitalism, which is all organics is based on. Itās like trying to convince someone their religion is wrong. Folks have a hard time not imposing human concepts on non-human things.
Plants donāt care either way, and my nugs are bigger and better. Evidence-based approach seems to always beat feelings.
