Panama(lots and lots of Panama )
Yeah i had to get a pack after seeing this description…
“This tall and elegant Sativa has always been our favorite plant, not for its intense flavor or for its amazing production of crystals that dazzle, but for the unique stimulating sensations it produces. A genuine “mystical experience.”
I take it the panama have done you well? lol
Have you grown out any of the Oaxacan?
Gerry keeps giving Panamas as freebies, so i have quite a few. I haven’t grown his Oaxaca, but i grew @Upstate’s Cryptic Labs Oaxaca this past summer and like it very much. If you’d like to do a side by side comparison, I’d be happy to send you a few seeds.
Is this one I don’t know about?
@Upstate Here’s a link
I must have passed because it’s an S1 And faster flowering. That may have been a mistake.
I just recalled that his S one’s are regular seed
yeah I thought it was strange when I read this on his main page. His “S1’s” are not S1s at all rather an open pollination between the same cultivar. Makes me wonder with the seeds you get from him what felial generation we are working with.
Either way seems like people are having success with his beans. Coming up with some great plants.
I’ll take you up on that down the road when I’m in my garage finally and not still in my living room. Need more space ASAP. lol I appreciate that offer though!
I emailed back and forth with him; his seeds are predominantly f2’s, with a few f1 hybrids
Oh damn thanks for the info! I was actually going to send him an email to inquire myself.
They’re also open pollinated, so there is a ton of
great geneTic material coming out of CS IMO
What do you think of the Ethiopian? What was your favorite from last summer?
based on their website I was thinking cross pollination in their grow could be a potential problem.
interesting. I wonder if this is indicative of that.
Seen pics of zamaldelica with large leaves such as those. How did these finish for you?
@OGTreeSlayer , my currently growing Zamaldelica’s had indica leaves until flower, then they started throwing thin blades as the stretch went on. Same for the Jalisco Landrace I grew.
That’s weird, huh? I’ve noticed that before in my own experiences.
The first 2 I struggled to keep healthy enough to harvest. Still wasn’t bad smoke despite them looking like shit. I really felt like I dropped the ball on that run. Second run of a clone from one of the first was like a redemption run for me. Everything was going well, big beautiful plant that was healthy right to harvest at like 12 wks. Then I fucked up the dry on that one 🤦 humidity was nonexistent and I didn’t take it seriously until it was too late. Shit dried way too fast, it was crispy in like 4 days. By the time I got the humidifier in there it was too late. Really disappointed in myself over that. Smells and tastes like hay and doesn’t even seem to get me stoned. The crazy foxtails def didn’t help with the drying. I have a lot and don’t know what to do with it, I guess either infuse with coco oil or compost, probably the latter. It sucks to have wasted so much time but live and learn I guess
You didn’t waste that time, it was just a long learning experience. Trust me, my laziness does it to me a lot.
I thought this too
He has all the females in one greenhouse. Doesn’t show what he does for males.
Its possible he does paintbrush tek, but that still leaves a small percentage of contamination
I personally use my finger tip to pollinate. Paintbrushes boing like a spring and puff a plume of pollen into the air.
Whereas the pollen sticks to my finger and i can paint it onto the pistols without creating any clouds.
Malawi x Zamaldelica sounds like a really nice cross. I bet the high was electric.
Yeah it’s just the one maybe two greenhouses, if you look up his business address it is a suburban neighborhood with a yard big enough for a pair of 10 x15 greenhouses. It makes me worry just as much actually about environmental pollen coming in from other homes or yards around in that dense neighborhood in a legal state.
