Week 9 - Day 63

Cut down 5150 TK #2 and TK S1 #3. 5150 TK 1 , 3 and TK S1 #2 remain. TK S1 #2 is looking really good in person. Love the calyx to leaf ratio on 5150 #1 as well.

Hey all, I recently picked up some csi gear and I wanted to thank everyone for sharing. I picked them up from the tude USA with no issues and fast shipping. Anyway, I should have ordered directly, but I’m not worried about it, and I will be grabbing something else around Christmas time. I’m more than happy with the mystery pack Heads Up(56x Loompa) and Sour Obama. Had great luck with a wedding cake awhile back from a different breeder (2 seeds both fire)and figured I’d try the S1s out from CSI. I’ll be cycling through some gdp seeds of my own doing and I might just have to grab sum GDP S1s for comparison.

Heads Up and Sour O already popping in under 3 full days (real time). All the way up in 3 and the WCs are right behind them with rumbled ground. All the best… of luck growin the ganja.

Welcome to OG - Hope you find some fire with those seeds! You definitely will not regret ordering directly if you go that route next time.

As CSI’s seeds are all selfed back-crosses of legacy cuts, there is always a chance you just got a lot of recessive traits or, oddball ancestral chemotypes. Legacy cuts have issues with not liking being fed high concenteations of nutes, not liking too much light, not liking to be kept too moist, or even herming the funk out… they can suffer from a long list of issues that are expressed when not dialed in to their specific needs.

With that said, CSI sends multiple freebies to make up for any inconsistencies in his crosses as, he knows all these subtle quirks and, I wouldnt expect him to answer for, nor replace, any of the ones that didn’t perform well for you in your specific environment… that was what the freebies were sent for.

Ok so I try to not get overly excited or as they say count chickens before they hatch but I was finally able to order something from CSI during the most recent sale, Chem D S1’s, it had been about 2 years since I have been able to afford ordering seeds again so it felt quite special and for all the times I’ve been on the receiving end of copious amounts of freebies from previous CSI orders I wanted to return the favor of surprise enjoyment when opening the mail so sent Caleb and the team at CSI a gift along with my payment, something I thought they would enjoy.

In the email sent from CSI with my tracking there were a few notes included, one of which mentioned something to the effect of “the square corner packs are older so may not have the best germination but they’re extra extras.”

Extra extras?! To say I’m brimming with excitement doesn’t do it justice. I’m so stoked!

The freebies and the anticipation is so much of the fun. Because his entire menu is full of quality genetics!

It would be so cool if there was an upcharge option during orders that was, for example, an extra $50 or $100 to “fuck me up with freebies”, an option for another handful of thoughtfully selected freebies.

Maybe a way for them to sell some stock that isn’t moving as quickly and also a way for customers to possibly purchase and try something they might not otherwise. Just something I’ve been thinking of for a while now. What do y’all think?

Also, I’ll definitely be sharing some of the freebies sent my way with others here in the community. Many blessings and much love

The answer was given above by a few bud. I’m pretty you replied to it.

Awesome I miss growing outdoors. Mine will be under led. I hope the smoke treats you right and finishes the good fight. Be safe outdoor growers.

I have a feeling the TK S1 #3 is going to be the surprising winner of the bunch, she’s got the eye of the tiger. Curious to see how it all plays out for you. Many blessings and much love

Yeah, they all look really good in the tent to me so I’m pretty happy. Triple Sunshine has longer stalks on the trichomes and definitely appears to be the frostiest in the tent due to that. TK x TS has the largest and stickiest buds. Everything has good calyx/bract - leaf ratios but 5150 x TK #1 is probably the best there… Can find positive things to say about everything. Would recommend popping the CSI TK crosses based on what I’m seeing so far. We’ll see how it all smokes in the coming months…

Definitely could be. She is the airiest and least impressive plant visually, but often times the ones you count out surprise you the most when it comes time to sample… Even being my least favorite (based on plant traits) it is still a nice plant.
