Doc D Chocolate Blitz; Freeborn Yesca x Jaro f3; Relic/Professor P/Dynasty Grapefruit f3; and (1) Bodhi Hasplant D

Speaking of the Grapefruit, does anyone know if you can order Relic Seeds directly from their site? They have a lot more offerings (even a freebie section) compared to the seed vendors that carry their stuff? Doesn’t look like you can contact them through their site, maybe only on social media?

As an aside @minitiger , I checked out Part Chimp and I like their sound! Will probably get a few of their digital albums, not sure if you have any favorites as far as that’s concerned?

Who’s that? Spice of TF…? Haha.

I don’t recall ever feeling like it was hyped up, but again, I wasn’t even growing when I was blazing that Sweet Tooth. I just liked the high, don’t even remember it ever tasting that “sweet,” but that coulda been because it was dispensary weed.

As long as I don’t fuck up the drying process on those Grapefruits, I do think they’re gonna end up tasting pretty sweet, just based on the way they smell right now. Odds are good that the drying is gonna be very difficult, though, because they’re gonna be getting chopped and hung right during the very hottest four-week stretch in the part of LA where I live, end of August/first few weeks of September. I expect it to be around 110-120 degrees.

A little “sweetness” might be pretty enjoyable, though, since I don’t ever really end up with sugar-y tasting weed. Although maybe I shouldn’t have grown those Grapefuits at the same time as the Chocolate Blitzes haha. Those smell pretty sweet/sugar-y, too.

I dunno if that’s an option, but probably somebody else here does haha.

I knoooowwwww. So loud and so “distorted.” I love it when the guitars sound like they’re on the verge of falling apart.

Cup and Thriller are my two favorite albums. “Bring Back The Sound” from Cup and “Trad” from Thriller are my two favorite songs.

But is that Celsius or Fahrenheit? Just kidding, either one sounds pretty dang cold.

I get that. I do the same thing and I’m not doing anything even close to what you do.

Move to Spain, dude! If nothing else, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t get negative-three up there haha.

Dynasty/Relic don’t do direct sales. They very much value their relationships with seedbanks and prefer doing it that way. I’ve heard he does auctions on his Discord though, but I don’t mess with all of that nonsense. I’m looking at running some Dynasty stuff next myself. Megafauna, Pineapple Fields, and Lime Berry Mega I’d like to checkout.

he’s been running auctions almost every day on his discord lately but it’s multiple packs per auction not just one.

Yeah there’s a farm there I can go live on and shit in Spain they just having a few issues getting permission to drill for water … spent a couple months out there … was really good times …
winter ain’t no joke up on those hills either though … getting in the -1s Celsius … but yeah at least in SA we can still bribe people to get shit done or get ourselves freed :joy::joy::joy: gotta weigh up these variables :joy::joy:

The semester I lived in France, we decided to take our spring break in Morocco. We hopped on a train in the beach town where we resided wearing shorts and t-shirts. We were woefully unprepared for the huge temperature drop as we passed through those mountains on the Spanish border at night. Had to put on every piece of clothing we brought and huddle together for warmth. It still wasn’t enough and we had to seek hot coffee at the first opportunity the next morning. The train eventually reached Algeciras on Spain’s southern tip in the late afternoon where it was nice and sunny. It took a while to shake that chill.

There’s your answer, @ElGalloBlanco haha. I got my Grapefruit seeds from speakeasy during either a 4/20 sale or a Black Friday/Digital Monday one a few years ago, can’t remember now which one it was. Two of the five Grapefruit f3’s I planted didn’t sprout, just FYI; 100% on the rest of the stuff I planted from other breeders this round did.

Absolutely. If it still gets almost as cold as in SA, but the authorities can’t be bribed in Spain the way they can in SA you for sure have to consider that. As shitty as that is, I think I’d rather live in the place where I can bribe people vs the places where I can’t.

Change/legalization would be nice, but in the meantime… Bribe some motherfuckers haha.

Yeah, right after I typed and posted,”Move to the Catalans!” the thought occurred to me that it’s probably pretty freezing there, too. Them mountains get cold! haha.

Thank you, there is just a “Strain Quick Reference” and a “Freebies” section on their site, both contain way more strains than what is currently available at all of their vendors so it just got me curious, signed up for their newsletter anyway, haha.

Pineapple Fields always sounded really good to me and that should be a fun grow if you pop some of each of those.

Alright, if all goes according to plan, I’m actually gonna have stuff to do like every day this week, so I decided to take pics this morning, flower day 43. Kinda wanted to keep the pics at ten day intervals, but whatever.

Chocolate Blitz #2, flower day 43:

She reeeallllyyyy started to flop over the last week, so I staked and tied her a few days ago. I hope she was flopping because her flowers are just getting THAT FAT and not because they’re all full of nearly-developed seeds haha. I’ve actually been giving a squeeze here and there to see if I can feel any seeds in the flowers and I haven’t noticed any, so… Hopefully we’re all good.

Chocolate Blitz #4:

I think she might actually be done pretty soon, like sixty days at the very, very latest, maybe even less than that. So that’s exciting.

Yesca x Jaro #3:
Oh, shit, looks like I forgot to take pics of that one. Fuck… Sorry y’all. I was sitting here thinking,“Man, it didn’t seem to take you as long as it normally does to label the pics today…” Now I know why haha.

Yesca x Jaro #5:

I took like 20 pics of this one and these were the only two that didn’t turn out completely outta focus. Which is another reason why it didn’t take me too long to label pics today haha.

Grapefruit f3 #2:

The way the flowers are forming on her is so weird-looking, like a bunch of ramen noodles or something (boxed ramen, not real ramen haha). However, the more they fill out, the more I like that plant. I retract every negative thing I’ve said about her haha!

Grapefruit f3 #3:

She’s officially become my favorite plant from this grow, at least as far as looks and smells are concerned. Most of the other plants just really aren’t that frosty, which I’m attributing to the fact that it’s just been sooooo hot and soooo dry for like the last seven hours of lights-on ever day for weeks now. That #3 Grapefruit plant is showing no signs at all of being annoyed by the growing conditions, though. She looks really good.

And the Hashplant D #4:

She’s starting to flop and is gonna need to be staked and tied soon. She also smells really, really sweet, sweeter even than the Chocolate Blitzes and Grapefruits. It’s almost exactly like a “chocolatey” smell. I was noticing it this morning and was like,“What the fuck? Is this plant gonna turn out more chocolatey than the friggin’ Chocolate Blitzes???” haha. I don’t think she’ll maintain that smell, but it is something I noticed today. Pretty unexpected, for sure.

So, yeah… I top dressed with MBP and watered with coconut a few days ago for no reason at all. Other than that, it’s just been straight water for the last couple weeks, haven’t really felt the need to do anything else. That Hashplant D is starting to fade pretty quickly, a lot of the bigger fans are light green/yellow, but I’m not too worried about.

I do think that that Craft Blend from BAS, which I top dressed with when I transplanted into the seven-gallons like two months ago, is probably pretty good stuff. For the most part the plants have all looked green and healthy and are exhibiting no real issues at all that I can see, probably just gonna use that as a top dress (as opposed to a soil bin re-amend) moving forward.

Anywayyyyy… Yeah, flower day 43! haha.

Forgot the “whole tent shot” AGAIN. What’s my deal??? haha.

I decided to move the Hashlant D and the short Chocolate BLitz, the plants that have been on five-gallon buckets for like a month, over to the left side of the tent today. I dunno why, I just felt like it. And the big-ass Yexca x Jaro and the big Grapefruit are in the front today, so you really can’t see too much else.

Those are some fine looking plants! You’re really making me want to get my Hashplant D seeds wet.

Grew 2 of the hash D’s last photo run. Very good stuff. Here’s some of that chem variegated leaf. Still reading through your posts to see how yours went.

Ok read up on the first post. Need to dig up larger pictures of the 2 plants. One was looking like a heavier ghash leaner, other one was something else and I assume the chem. Weird though that the ghash one had more variegated leaves than the other.

Plant 1 - Stayed kinda dense, manageable branching, buds touched on the colas and it was good terps.

Plant 2 - Went bonkers in late veg/stretch period. Branching all over and bushed. Got that in Silver Hashplant, too. Ghash leaner I assumed. This one had that nice variegated leaf and others where half the blade is variegated. Kinda the same terps but seemed hashy. Solid golf ball nugs all over.

I loved these plants, too. Very easy to grow well. Happy with both.

Do it, dude! I mean, why not? You’ve got ‘em, might as well plant ‘em.

Unless there’s some other things you wanna plant even more… Which I totally get haha. I wasn’t even planning on planting those Hashplant D’s this round, only did because I couldn’t find whatever I was looking for in the seed fridge quickly enough. I’m super-paranoid about pulling my seeds out of the fridge; if I can’t find what I’m looking for in, like, five minutes, I move on to something else.

Still, though, I’m not disappointed in that plant haha.

That doesn’t look like variegation to me; it looks like aphid/thrip damage or something. Maybe even spider mites.

Variegation (or at least the few plants I’ve grown that exhibited it) is like when half of the leaf is much more pale green/almost white than the other half of the leaf.

They were. I should take pics of the better ones. Ya start defoliating filling your pockets and forget to do it.

Oh and also no bugs at that time. Thankfully. Had root aphids, mites, thrips and I suspect a bad bag of fox farm did it. That’s all DTW coco though after I got rid of 'em. Thrips are back from trying reuse my living soil boxes now. I want my bug free grow back damnit
