I would let it go. I’ve dropped seeds into 5 gallon pots before. I do recommend watering around the outer ring when you do for a while it’ll promote root growth.

I agree it looks like an indica, so they are prone to mould and don’t like humidity, solution is defoliation and space between nodes, also trimming the first nodes to have more airflow, laying her down doesn’t seem to be the right move, LST being so young can stress the plant, let her freely grow until she can support some training …
