GC flowers Cap Junky and Chem 91

Thanks @GCBudz that was the runt. I’m happy with it. I’ve got another one coming down probably this weekend. Same strain, but much larger.

Today is day 30 from flip on the 4x4 with 2x RIL, 1x G’Pa Glue and 1x Mac1.

Here’s my problem child RIL, you can see the issue is showing on the whole plant. Tomorrow I go in pull dead fans and watch it… cull it perhaps. The 2nd RIL is also showing symptoms but much less severe… to this point.

I have been trying to be very attentive to the reservoirs, making sure ph is in range before lights on.

The only difference I can think of is now that summer is here and hose water is not so cold iv bypassed mixing 50*F water from outside spigot in 20 gallon tote… to directly filling reservoir and setting/monitoring closely.

I do have small ACI pumps in each res to keep a constant flow… attempting to reduce sludge buildup.

Anyway, here’s the RIL.

The Mac1

The G’Pa Glue

The above are at day 30, did I mention already?

Here’s the 3x3 with 4x the CJ91 on day 10. All seems well, one plant I had to bend over 4 branches to get a near level canopy. Believe it’s one of the tall pheno one of the testers had… I’m sorry but I forget who that was.

Doing some reading, I need to educate myself. Iv come to the point where depending on products to work as advertised just is not enough anymore. I have to know what’s happening before it gets to become a bigger issue. Gonna dive into YT tutorials as well.

Hope all are well, may be scarce except for occasional updates for awhile. It’s time to fire up the log splitter and start on firewood from the tree work last fall. Yard work is never ending as well.

So what does schedule 3 mean for us consumers?

Nice to see that occasionally I’m not the only one whose plants sometimes just hate him and can’t figure out why… usually yours look perfect and mine are the ones with red stems and leaves falling off all over the place. :stuck_out_tongue: Most of them look perfect as always though, making me seriously consider switching to synthetics here if this is a bad run for you.

Pretty much nothing but upside for us… for everyone, really, unless you’re trying to make it a business in the current landscape. If you’re in business and not set up for competition on a national level, you’re screwed, since this should open up interstate commerce. Those businesses complaining about only getting $20/oz will soon be able to ship to the East Coast legally, but that just sets up the race to the bottom on economics of scale which only the big boys will have. Eventually, though, it’ll mean lower dispensary prices and we might get to reconsider whether it’s worth growing at all.

Ny dispensaries are already at $25 an eight. I had heard that 75 dollar ounces were being put out by the mso that sued to get in the market. Race to the bottom is here. Once only a handful of corporations have driven all the small producers out, prices will get jacked up again. My .02 cents

You have any preference over Hypochlorous acid vs pool shock?

They just touched on the pool shock in the Jack’s 321 thread, first iv heard about that.

I’ll be ordering something for the “res clear” benefits.

Gonna be a bad week or two coming up. The family hete has been preparing for the loss of one of our pups… 14 year old black lab. Maggie Moo… wife is tearing just discussing as she’s starting to show some suffering.

So sorry to hear this.

It’s hard to do, but try to take comfort in the wonderful life you gave her. They truly are members of the family.

Give her a big hug for me. (Your wife too).

So sorry to hear about Maggie Moo!

The HTH pool shock is calcium hypochlorite, which is a stabilized calcium-based powdered bleach, and it leaves a calcium residue on everything if used, for example, in a mist machine. I don’t have problems adding bleach to my grow but its not at effective as hypochlorous acid… hypochlorous acid is non polar and more easier crosses cell boundaries vs. the negatively charged hypochlorite ion which repels negatively charged bacteria… As well as being much more powerful of an oxidizer. Either one will work, just like a few drops of bleach would work too, but I would stick with the hypochlorous personally.

Nicely explained @herojuana.tom much appreciated. I’ll ignore the pool shock tech…

Maggie is my son’s dog, one of the few things he walked away from in his divorce. We lost Mica her house mate(older rescue) last year. Mag’s is one of nine pups my Lab’s Montana and Willy gave us, we kept Mag’s and her brother Rolo 5 years ago to cancer. Neighbor has a sister, coworkers have/had other siblings.

This will leave us with just one pup again, the 4 year old Golden named Aspen.

This will be the 5th we lost in 40 years, all are resting in the yard. Nope, never gets easier…

Thanks for the thoughts. Gonna spoil her while we still are able.

@herojuana.tom is this what I want?

That’s what I’m using in my cloner, same brand and everything… like I said in DM, 1/4 tsp per gallon seems to be keeping the water clean enough to work with for a month or so, probably more but it tends to need refilling before then. If you want to test it out before buying, I still have 3 quarts of it in my fridge. It’s powerful enough that I haven’t needed more than a quart in the year since I bought it, and though it says 6 months shelf life it’s still working. :man_shrugging:

I hate that it costs as much as it does, but that one its nearly half the price of Athena Cleanse, yes that is a good one… 500 ppm is good, Athena is only 280 ppm.

Do like Lisa and I did with my lab Kate. We set the date with the vet 7 days in advance and then we spoiled the living hell out of her for that week. I took her swimming every day and although she didn’t swim much she still belly flopped into the water and laid there wagging her tail. She had pup ice cream every night after her grilled chicken or beef and boiled carrots dinner. Lisa picked her up and snuggled with her every night which was not allowed. And I let her sleep in my recliner during the day (also not allowed) for the whole week. It made us feel good but didn’t help on day 7 when we took her to the vet.

@Cormoran thanks for the tip on usage… ordered the 32oz spray bottle. I’ll find a cap for the bottle.

Thank You @herojuana.tom for the lead.

Ordered along with some other supplies.

Appreciate the thoughts for Maggie Moo… I have a tough time getting her out of the house to pee, unless I show her the pupper cookie bag. Or she hears her daddy (son) come home.

This will happen soon.

Really sorry to hear about Maggie Moo, she is gorgeous. We did similar as LDA did with our German shepherd Shiva. Gave her lots of love and extra stuff not normally “allowed.” Just recently got another pup back in February, only because the fiance and kids were really wanting one, and I was able to be involved in the birthing process back around Christmas time with the pups. Its still not easy though losing a family member, or know its coming. Best wishes and tons of love for your Maggie Moo
