good idea but i only have one jar of each except a couple plants, but yeah that’s a good trick to get that curing time into a number perfectly

hell yeah we’ll see! in the meantime i’m keepeing all of em alive but i gotta pick something ASAP to plant, i need more weed already! right now i’m thinking two guerilla fume’s and one lime 1 x jaro from the early smoke

edit: oh and the 4th plant to rerun probably for sure my old soul clone
from last round

Why the aversion if you don’t mind me asking?

Wow! Buds are looking so fkn delicious man!! So many inspirations on what to grow next. Thanks for the details.

You mentioned a few posts back that you were going to top with 6 cups of craft blend per pot. Personally, researching this earlier this season when I was prepping my pots for outdoor, I stumbled across BAS YouTube series video where he re-amended his 30 gals pots for the latest season. He recommended 2 cups per cubic feet. I forget the math but it was something like 6-8 cups per 30 gallon container. I then watched him top dress with a half cup! Like, what?!? Anyway, I ended up top dressing at the beginning of the season with only 1 cup per 30 gal pot. My plants have been doing great so far! I just top dressed again with another cup. Anyway, I just thought I’d say that you probably don’t need 6 cups…

Keep up with the smoke reports. I bet you feel like Tony fkn Montana right now with that head stash.

Well, technically, no. From everything I’ve read, it’s the result of an accidental pollination (read: herm pollen); seeds from that unintentional cross were grown out and the Sour Diesel clone was found. So Sour Diesel herself would be considered a clone-only plant, not seed. Although she was found in seeds. Seeds created from herm pollen aren’t feminized, though.

One jar of each? Is that because you’re using those big-ass, like gallon mason jars or something? I like to use the pint mason jars specifically because it allows me to put one plant into three or four (or five, if I’m lucky haha) jars, which allows me to do that “numbering system” thing haha. By the time I get to the fourth jar, it’s been sealed up for like three or four months, usually.

You can get a twelve-pack of pint mason jars for like 12 bucks at any sorta chain grocery store. I think. I found them at the Albertsons down the street from me. I wasn’t even looking for jars, I was just wandering the aisles haha, but I saw them and grabbed a pack. I’m always running short on jars haha.

To plant? Like seeds? Don’t you have all those moms around from the last run?

No particular reason, other than they use a lot of selfed stuff in their crosses. It’s just a personal thing. I won’t grow crosses made with selfed or feminized plants. I don’t have a problem with CSI or anything.

Maybe he meant 6 cups for the 30 gallon pot if you mix it into the entire container before the grow, then he just top dressed with 1/2 cup once the plant(s) was/were planted out?

It reminds me of a CBD hemp autoflower plant I just harvested outdoors  But really, all the flowers look awesome, that Lime Jaro just pops!

Half gallon mason jars all day over here! Isn’t is still a good idea to burp the containers once every month or two for long term storage? Although I am sure in the end it probably doesn’t really matter that much as long as the moisture level of the flowers are good.

It’s not that I NEED femanized bean, it’s just sometimes more convenient… only wanting/having space for two plants… mixing in a tent etc … just makes it a bit easier to plan out. I’ll run regs when I want a particular strain, and plan to rotate cuts. Like the Fume… and Dog Patch… and the Diesel Therapy if I could score some.

My M/F ratios are usually better than your experience, but I do occasionally only get a few seedling out of a pack… lol

Was hoping to have had the golden ticket this am, but looks like I’m stuck in shack a bit longer!

Probably. I don’t, though haha. I always throw a few of those Boveda packs into every jar once I’m satisfied with where they’re at, dryness-wise, I figure that’s enough. But yeah, I probably should burp them occasionally. Maybe I’ll do that today. It’ll give me something to do haha!

Yeah, dude, for sure. I understand. I was just saying that I feel like most of the reputable breeders who are working with Sour Diesel right now tend to be people who don’t make feminized seeds at all (Skunk VA and Doc D are really the only two that I’d trust; if Bodhi was working with SD, I’d grab some of those seeds, too). But I also haven’t been looking for feminized Sour Diesel seeds or crosses, so they could be out there.

So. Was. I. Haha. I bought ten when I saw it was over a billion dollars (and actually ten for each of the last like four drawings), still haven’t checked any of them. But I saw somebody in Illinois won, so… I’ll check them later.

Maybe you do this as well but I have a few of these that I put into the jars once I think the flowers are dry enough to be jarred. It shows the humidity of the inside of the jar so you can get them hopefully into the 55% to 65% range for curing and storage.

Wonder if any of the Sour D cuts on strainly be trusted? Iv run HSO’s Amhearst SD and it was meh… good yields though.

1 winner in IL, hope they are good people. Lotsa good can come from that kinda money in the right hands.

Yeah, I’ve got a twelve-pack of something similar. Sometimes I put one in a jar of each strain harvested, sometimes I don’t haha. I figure the Bovedas do the trick. They seem to, anyway. I’ve gotten into jars that were two years old before and that weed was still pretty decent. Maybe not as sticky as the day they got sealed up, but definitely not dry or anything, either. And the weed smoked great, so…

Yeah, I dunno. I’ll look on strainly occasionally, specifically for Sour Diesel, but I haven’t gotten a good vibe from the few postings of clones that I’ve seen. It’s just so hard to be certain, ya know? I bought a few packs of Shoreline’s ECSD bx3 from strainly a couple years ago, without doing any research before I ordered, which isn’t something I normally do. Ordinarily, I do as much research as I can before I order anything. Anyway, after I placed the order, I read as many threads as I could about that Shoreline ECSD and was just like,”Pssshhhhh…. Yeah, fuck that,” haha. Still haven’t grown any. I might, though. One day… haha.

Thanks for the tip, what i’m thinking is more is less as in if the plant needs it’ll be there, if not, it’s not there in toxic amounts anyways. I think also it’s got something to do with my lights in the manual it says "use more cal-mag than usual"so i got some epsom salt… idk wtf that’ll do tho haha

hell yeah they are, right? i’m pretty sure if you use female pollen on a female, you get feminized seeds

nah it’s cause i grew flowering clones and they had to reveg and shit so i got a bunch of super small plants, only 2 strains grew big enough to fill those pint masons

yeah not seeds, i’m trying to figure out what mom to plant so i have weed growing ASAP haha, i’ve been smooooking so much to pick the ones haha i’m fucked right now

huh? @minitiger seems to know what you’re talking about but i’m high

my jars are feeling a little dry, i ordered some masons ( @minitiger before you say anything last time i looked for some in LA couldn’t find any good ones haha) to replace the peanut butter one, they are cool but fuck it. my wife has left some halfway tightenned jars and i’m freaking out if a degrade any weed by 0.1% the big mason are dry too down to 54% and i’m not happy, i pelled some apples and threw some little pieces of apple peal in all the jars, for 12 hours. that’s what i did last time and it really amazingly worked, no bovedas i don’t use those anymore, my old weed that’s been with bovedas has a weird throat contracting thing going kinda like cigarettes, anyways, apple peals it is

this is the guerilla fume i’m not keeping, smallest one (this is the whole plant) it’s the densest one, and i love the looks of it, it’s one of the more chemmy one, oily gas black licorice tiger balm dank. the #3 is the same as this one but 3 times bigger, but i prefer the #5 over any plant (it’s also the biggest yielder)

this is another rank one, irene x chem91 s1, from CSI, this is the whole plant, it’s greasy heavy gross old mop tasting, lot’s of that flavor, flavor bomb, too damn small tho and it hermed (almost everything hermed haha) pretty special tho!

pine tar kush #3 havn’t smoked that one but the other ones, or at least one, i suspect is CBD because of the “focus” effect, a little light on the taste, the smell is unreal nail polish removed melons fresh like mint but no mint, hard to describe this one it smells magical, like fairy weed

MEOW from prolific coast seeds, i shoulda took better pics but i will, this one remind me so much of Bodhi’s hollyweed i grew couple rounds ago (pk x 88g13hp) it’s sweet and bready, beer-ish almost which is my absolute favorite thing in the world, some of 'em are more mothball-y, the last one is a serious contender to get a re-run and i don’t think it threw a ball but i’ll check all of my notes before killing or planting anything, it only filled one 16oz jar tho … but i can’t just regrow all guerilla fume dammit! can i?

i-80, they got the looks, beautiful plants, delicate and dirty at the same time, the vibe is pepper/rubber/og gas, they need to cure, #8 has a super strong high

cold cookies #2 is getting killed, too small, not insanely special, i’m not considering tiny plants to re-run unless it’s unbelievable

sour, needs to cure

That MEOW looks great! Something about silvery white calyxes from the abundance of trichomes contrasting with darker pistils always looks so appealing to me.

How long have you kept it frozen brother? Did you vacuum seal it? I have some I’d like to keep that fresh dank as well.

That keeper looks so bad ass!

Interesting idea. In the bonsai world that is called the “Raft Style” that mimics a tree falling over from wind or adverse weather. The trunk touching the ground will grow its own roots and the banches that were left sticking up will turn into their own trees of sorts. You can only do it if the plant is woody, not green and tends to create roots all along the “trunk”. I wouldn’t bury it that deep, just enough so that watering doesn’t expose the trunk. Scar the under side of the trunk to be buried and add some rooting hormone to the area. I’d try to let the leaves poke out of the soil so that they can grow into their own “trunks” eventually. That way you could separate the rooted trunk into several different plants. It’s done all the time with other types of plants. It’s essentially called “ground layering” but you’d be pushing into new grounds doing it with cannabis. That should be its own thread!

I put the weed in mylar bags, by the weighed ounce, then seal the top with a hair straightener, it kinda melts the 2 layers into a seal
