You could always try sending in leaf samples for a sex test. There’s a local lab in Canada that does it for $30… the more you send the cheaper it gets. I can imagine it’s a bit cheaper in your neck of the woods. Super fast way to figure out what you’re dealing with.

most def, wow thats cheap, pretty damn cool for pheno hunting, i was just telling my wife “i shoulda just planted the seeds directly in the big pots and kill the males” then she said “yeah but you woulda killed the males”… oh shit i forgot i wanted to keep males thats why i did it that way! i litereally forgot why i was hunting like this. i wanted to keep males (in a seperate location)
the better smelling male is guerilla fume its a deep oily skunk dankness, and the females smell like that too, im stoked

Pretty sure he means thirty dollars per sample tested. So for this particular grow, multiply thirty bucks by however many plants you’re growing.
Not cheap haha.
There’s multiple places in CA that do it, the cheapest I found was $15 per sample. Even with only my usual 20-30 seeds planted each round, that adds up to way more than I wanna spend, especially when I can just wait a few weeks and they’ll show sex themselves.

It’s $30 for 10 samples. Over 10 it goes down to $25, over 50 and it’s $20, etc.

https://www.alcanada.com/ is the lab. I spoke to the southern Ontario rep and he quoted me those prices but now I’m thinking I may have misunderstood him. I’m almost certain he told me 1-10 samples for $30 and 10-30 for $25. I found the note I wrote when I was talking to him and that’s what it says. I emailed them to confirm and am just waiting to hear back.
