Thats still cheaper than sending 10 plant samples in US. Geesh.

@DesertHeartGardens i should have read your comment first. Dont mind me echoing what you already said. Lol

Those prices have to be per sample. If not then he is working exponentially cheaper on large orders. The price should go up some for larger orders if it’s a bulk deal

I agree. The cost shouldn’t necessarily go up for bulk orders (the whole point of ordering in bulk is that you pay less), but it also shouldn’t cost thirty dollars to test one plant and $20 to test a hundred. It doesn’t make any sense. It costs $30 for one test, but a hundred tests cost twenty cents a piece? I’m certain that the prices quoted are per test. I actually emailed them earlier to clarify haha, still waiting on a response.

ok so fuck the domes and plugs for now, i randomly put 2 branches in one of those bottles last week and i saw small roots and small bumps this mornings. the heat mat at 80F

i kinda pruned the plants stupidly and i wanted to leave 2 juicy branches for plug-cloning later so i grabbed some branches straight off the main stem leaving big knuckles, we’ll see

been told that there should be minimum water

i got 48 tiny water bottles for like $7

so far the odors that stand out are those, and this is what i wrote in my book next to 'em, it’s no joke those are insane smelling plants

ff 4 - orange candy and poison
i-80 3 - gas holly shit
gf 2 - gas dazam!
l1j 7 - unleaded gasoline 2 stroke engine
l1j 3 - octane fuel

Youre descriptions are making my mouth water! Ha! Im betting you have stellar luck with the clones. Looks great!

Yeah, this is for sure the method I’m gonna try next run. Sounds like the easiest way for sure. Anybody wanna buy a couple of brand-new 12 site cloners? Haha. Never been used!

Did you just put tap water in those bottles, @supershitfuck or RO or…?

it never roots with tap water, you might get bumps but that’s it, too much chemicals in LA’s water i assume, i used the water that came in the bottles, it’s RO with some extra shizzle

more clones clones clones, so i have 3 or 4 clones for most plants, about 160 total! i need this to work haha, i ran out of cloning plugs (or pucks?) so some clones in the domes are in dirt, i saw a gnat fly out of one dome so i put some predators in the domes, hopefully nature happens, keeping 'em wet for a couple days, lots of experimenting we’ll see

these are from another mom i’m trying to save, this is my favorite way of cloning right here, i was going to put some cuts straight into the beds but couldn’t, not yet at least

Clone game on point bud! Nicely done.

Also… Someone else from that lab got back to me bc all of this is just way too good to be true.

It is in fact $30 PER SAMPLE for 1-10 samples and so on. FFFFFFFFFFFFack… so disappointed. That rep I spoke to is an idiot. Sorry yall…

Yeah, they got back to me this morning, too. It’s $30 per test, which seemed pretty obvious.

Guess I wasn’t wrong after all, huh?

Guess not… you want a cookie or something?

Lol great minds ! I just did the exact same thing only I used coffee cups! I had 45 clones to take and I took two of each so 90 cuts. Wasn’t going the dome route and gave away my turbo Klone years ago. Popped em in tsp water…. Voila

Now I’ve got another 14 to take today as well ffs I’ve done the cup of water cloning hundreds of times and if you aren’t in a hurry IMHO it is the best option, and around here the tap water is perfect, sometimes I add a little UC roots or a drop or two of b-52, but it’s never failed.

What’s your idea of “perfect tap water”? The TDS meter for my tap water says 150 ppm, which isn’t too bad. I mean, I don’t wanna drink it or anything haha, but I’ve read a lot of people saying that tap water seems to work best when they’re using cloners, as opposed to RO water etc. I’m wondering if you’ve noticed the same thing with the bottle/cup method.

Yeah, dude, I want a fucking cookie.

How about the newest “Cookies” colab instead?

bad part: the cuts i’ve had in a water bottle for a week+ now, had legit bumps and a small root growing, but yesterday and today it was all slimy, like micro transparent hair on the tips, on the end where they are in water. fuck! i tried cleaning the tips, changing the water bottle and water, still slimy and no more roots, and that shit happened last time i tried cloning in water at my house, root killing slime

good part: other cuts day 4 in the water bottles, almost half of ‘em have those white bumps, one even had a 1/16’’ long one, aka root?

Had same results when I tried the water bottle “method”. It all ended up in slime. Guess people that can pull it off have a specific microclimate and tap water quality that allows it. I thought about experimenting more with H202 and stuff, but then decided to go back to the tried and true method that works for me. A little more work upfront than just sticking them in a glass/bottle, but at least I can get reliable clones when I need them…
