Yeah he’s here with his sisters this weekend. He likes them pretty damn well. I think it was his idea to bring them along.
What’s the bucket at?
Also that’s not a bad way, it’s nice to be close with siblings. So how many you got in total over there?
Oh shit. I didn’t even check the bucket.
I got 3 of em tonight There’s 4 total that we take since they are all teens and are both interesting and pretty self sufficient. The twins we’ve never taken cuz they are under 10 and… Not interested in that again.
Control bucket crept up to 6.08 from 5.95 0.13 temp maintained at 70°
Good morning everybody. Whew. That one late night has thrown my whole shit out of alignment. I barely made it up on time to close down the flower room door and get some breakfast in me before drugs O’Clock.
It is about that time lol
Morning homie
Control bucket crept up to 6.26. 0.18
That’s a total of 0.31
Temps consistent
No plant or system interference
What in the actual fuck?
I think we need to get Bill Nye to figure this one out
Hmmm think you may have to try a bit of distilled water or to water. And then worst case try a different brand or new bottle of ph down.
Yeah for real. I’m gonna stop getting the damn gallon size of pH down. That shit is wholly unnecessary!
I bought the smallest bottle they make and still haven’t used it all
Yeah man. I only use 40 ml at the very most on a regular swap. Even a small bottle should go about 6 months.
What are you guys gonna make for dinner? I gotta run tot he store and nothing sounds good.
Almost thinking the minerals and stuff in the water is messing with the ph. Almost like how dolomite line wants to buffer at like 6.5-7.0
Also what nute line are you using
I believe it’s the minerals as well. and or organic compounds in the water.
The ‘water treatment’ I had talked about earlier was for my dads friends. I helped for a few summers until he moved. I forget the calculations… there were a lot and they were VERY complicated. This is extremely basic but explain a little about what i did those summers. Optimize the pH Balance of Cooling Tower Water- Chardon Labs And I know it’s not hydro but it sounds really similar in terms of cycles and ph balancing.
Edit: woops sorry, i left the link because it guve some clues as to why ph raises with temperature. It may help come to a solution?
I’m grabbing some corn dogs from Sonic to hold me over until I get home lol
It’s the same old tap water I’ve been using for years now. Unless they’ve tweaked something at the treatment plant or fucked is like they did flint.
I went to mezeh for dinner. Picture subway but it’s all Mediterranean foods. Wraps or bowls.
I think I’m gonna get a new pH down and do a new test bucket of tap water. I run maxi bloom and gypsum. I took power si and fish shit out of the mix the last time I had this problem.
6.47 only .04 from last night at 11:30
Ambient Temps for the day are starting at 71° at begining of lights on
On the test bucket?
Main reservoir
It feels like it’s about done climbing. Aaaaand. Damnit I don’t remember exactly but I think that’s about .27-.30 above where I started before pHing down. Is that extra bump from the increase in temps?
Is the pH bad and it went back pre pH levels and then a bump of .3 from the temps?
It’s kinda wired it keeps going back up and leveling out. I would def try a new bottle of ph down but I would also probably grab a gallon of distilled water so to play with.
