Howdy y’all,
I’m new to these forums. I started growing in Colombia in May of last year and had joined a controversial OG member’s Discord server in order to learn more about cultivating. The dude eventually went psycho, so I left and decided to join the place he always spoke about, and have been in love. The community here is dope, and I’m glad to be here.
I currently reside in NYC, but am planning to move back to right California next year. If anyone is in the area, we could catch a smoke and some coffee!

How much does that cost? I’ve been needing to get that done on a couple cultivars I’m working on @kroma and what do you mean by yourself? Like literally? You have a lab?

Something from $500 to 2k for a portable model like Vernier Mini or Sage Analytics up to 5k to 50K for larger models like Agilent, Shimadzu, HP, Varian, etc.
By myself I mean I bought a used old HP/Agilent 6890 model and I am refurbishing to learn how it works, the process and start testing.
I have a mini extraction lab at home that I’m expanding to work with tests and TC.

How big of a sample is required? Does it need to be dry or can it be fresh? Should a sample consist of a bit of top , middle and bottom bud ? Or does that matter? And once you get it all figured out will you test samples for others? And if you will how much will you charge for your services? @kroma

Hello Everyone!
I was invited here by a growmie and I am excited to check everything out! I do want to introduce myself and give a little backstory on what brings me here.
I am an internet taught home grower that has fallen in love with the growing process. I started out a few years ago with a couple plants in a 2x4 tent but that did not last long. I needed more space so I framed out a section of my garage in order to run my legal limit of 12 plants.
Having my space to grow in quickly changed a lot for me in life. I was in the Marines for 8 years back in the early 2000’s and left with an alcohol addiction and a mental mess. I struggled a lot and it wasn’t until I started growing that all of that changed. I will be two years sober from alcohol this winter and I am mentally in the best shape I have been in since I can remember. All thanks to a little plant therapy each day in the grow!
Since building the space in my garage, I have since moved and built another grow with improvements. I will find the grow build section of the forum and show everyone what I am working with soon!
I have heard great things about this community so I am looking forward to being active here! I also have a little seed collection started that I would love to share and trade with others. I did just flip to flower so maybe I can get a grow log started as well so y’all can join me for the ride. Looking forward to it and thanks for having me here!
