Hey folks! So, I’m from Los Angeles and it’s been a wild couple of decades since I even thought of this page. I was here from the early oughts, nevermind the old username. I didn’t think this site was still online, but I remember back in 2000-2002 when this was one of those underground sites like erowid and urban75. There was erowid.org and that’s where I think I first came across a link to this site. It had lots of info on growing MJ, much more than usual for a website during that era. I remember the Shark Tank was my least favorite forum on Overgrow, but the best forums included so many tips and pics for the whole growing process, before Facebook or Quora were ever thought of. I didn’t know there was an OG website shutdown until I saw this page again recently in Google search results, but I just stopped using OG back then after the war in Afghanistan started in 2003. That’s how insane it feels to see this page still up and running, with the near identical interface and design. Good on you for getting it back and keeping it real.

I’m actually interested in how the domain became available again. The black suit wearing d-bags just gave it up after awhile & let it lapse/go back up for public registration?
Update: I went looking, the overgrow domain was unfrozen in 2014 & auctioned. Cool
