Hi @Fill_Watertank, I was wondering if you were ever able to make contact with Le rat in Geneva? He was doing seeds as “The Rat’s Stock”. I talked to him since I told you when you first joined here. I might be able to ask him for a solid contact method for you. He had some really nice work before. Let me know if you want me to try or if you already made contact. He knew me as MrGoodfellow on OpenGrow.
Hope all is well with you! Glad to see you still popping in. peace
Hello red here long time grower new here i love unique strains and landraces looking to learn and have fun!
Some alien rockcandy X sativa dom skunk non road kill outdoor
Thank you for the welcome @GMan and @Fill_Watertank !
I’ll try to add some reports whenever I find the time.
Welcome to OG to all the new Gardeners who have joined good to see you hear.
Hey Upstate, I’m learning every year what genetics do work, well mostly what genetics don’t work but yeah still very much a learning process. Have had some success with Durban Poison in the past it’s pretty bulletproof and I like the high so that’s been a favourite of mine. This year I’m going running a strain called DFG from RGS. It’s a cross of Durban, Freezeland and Gorilla Glue I think. I was going to say that you’re practically on the equator at 42 North but that’s a helluva lot of water mate, would definitely love to get a few tips on on handling wet conditions have you any threads on it on here?
Really cool! Nanda Devi is one that I’ve wanted to grow recently. Your hybrid looks quite nice.
Welcome @Redribbonultra if I didn’t already! Nice bud. Have fun bro and enjoy the site. It has it all! peace
Welcome @kush007 from another uk grower
Welcome to og @green_raver think I’ve been smoking 31-32 years you must have started young back in 1999 I must have been 23 or 24 and started my first plant that year a gift from a guy I was getting Columbian brick weed for.
That plant was never flowered as I went to work in the Netherlands for a while early 2000
Make sure after rain you go give your plants a good shake. Used to grow Durban like you say pretty bulletproof and reliable for end of September.
Think heard you say you have Frisian dew too that’s pretty reliable and I prefer it to the Durban
Thanks for the welcome @Funkjunky and it’s great to see uk growers here has made me feel more free to express my love for the plant.
Yes the Nanda devi is a good one imho.
Outdoor in a pot, I have seen it great and hardy, provided a good amount of sun. Indoor, it’s more difficult to obtain the full potential but there are some individuals that are able to adapt and give really decent results.
Connoisseur strain
Yes, I crossed the way of mary jane quite early in my life
Started with an African bagseed that a friend brought back from the area while travelling.
The most shitty harvest I ever did but what a discovery with the finished product: it was the start of a trail
Hey Funkyjunky, I think Freezeland is a Canadian strain not sure if it’s related to Frisian Dew, I’ve heard of the legend of Frisian Dew but never had the pleasure of running it myself before. Wow better than Durban! Must get my hands on some for next season that sounds pretty sweet to me
Hello everyone! New to here. Going to Grow again! it’s been a minute.
High Rocky Mountain Indoor. Someday maybe I will get to try my Greenthumb at Outdoor someplace else.
A lot has changed in tech and laws since I was in the closet. Excited to morph into the latest cutting edge of Cannabis cultivation and looking forward to pulling from your knowledge to add to mine!
P.Pikka

hey guy fellow beastcoaster, dispensary worker, and landrace lover. First time ever venturing onto something like this.I have been a outdoor gurillea for years. Second generation grower with some unicorns to boot
That’s not a bad idea. A thread on handling wet conditions. Let me think on that a bit and see if my brain comes up with enough info to start one😉. That cross yr running sounds like it will be good. Durban is one I think I will love. Only had 50% Durban up til now. Working man’s weed for sure!
Lol! Yeah I guess compared to Ireland I am! Gets cold here early though. Freak frosts in June and august.
