Nice! Looking good! What smells are you getting?
You count flowering time as when floral production begins, correct? How many weeks 12/12?

Looks good. Is that week 2 of flowering? What type of medium/amendments did you use?

Thanks, not sure on what week didn’t jot it down but I think it’s been flowering longer that.

Yep, they grow slowly. Upon closer examination, it looks like yours is at week 4 in that photo. Here are pictures of mine at 2 weeks.

Flawless leaves. Great job so far. How many do you have going? What was the germ rate? Hope you find some good ones.

I have six going atm , I started 10 and had 100 percent germ rate but four were so retarded I killed them off to make room for the others.
Out of the six two are growing incredibly fast and the others are growing realy slow. There is Definitely some diversity in the population which is to be expected of landrace strains.

Insteresting !!! is this “sound” advice -Nice to know – some of the “Ethos” auto seeds are very small - guess it can make sense if one thinks about it (heavyily worked genetics produces larger seeds ? )

Wild cannabis seeds can be as small as a poppy seed. These type are hard to germinate using modern methods. The largest cannabis seeds on Earth are found in China, the area of longest cultivation.

I’ve seen some interesting variations here.
There was some selective crossing where the same mother produced two distinctly different sizes of seed (different fathers).

The largest seed is produced by Asian strains that have been bred for producing seed to eat (street vendor snack food etc). These look to be the size of corn kernels.

The smallest I have is a CBD strain from Seedsman, about 2~3mm.
I found it slightly counterintuitive, as I kept thinking small seed = small plant… NOPE! :pinching_hand:

Cheers

I can see that “small seed - small plant” I gfited a Ethos auto and that’s what the cultivator said to me !!!
Hey ! thanks for the information

Kalimpong, from East India, is a massive plant that is born from a poppy seed sized seed. The best write up about it is on the Landrace team website. Ace seeds sells the same one. Originally from Indian Landrace Exchange.
