@deeez99 Beautiful Odisha.

I have one that just started after 11 weeks of 11/13 lighting, and the other one started around 9 weeks.

Here is the Odisha that is the furthest along into flower.
Some trich production is starting, and flowers have change to purple I put some useful chocolate diesel pollen on them for fun outcross. Looks like it took.

And I hope he will be sending the rest of the seeds

Does anyone know if Shiv and Coco are connected? Because they both disappeared at the same time. Maybe it’s just a coincidence but it seems odd to me

Thanks @InTheWoods I’ve been keeping a watch on yours and it’s nice to actually see some pistil formation! Also been watching @Kasper0909’s grow as well as I believe we’re in a similar desert climate.

Those are shaping up nicely, any discernable smells yet? That chocolate diesel pollen should help bring the flowering time down to what like 20 weeks?

Im terrible with scents. What I pick up from D is leathery/cedar (barely any pistils) and B (pictures above) has a more cedar/something else that I can’t describe. very faint whatever it is.

I germinated some shiv semis recently: to see what to work with first of its varieties.

Megalay 5/5 and then 4/6
Panya. 6/6
Trimbak 1/5, (scarific) 2/3
Brahma 0/6

These were my Shiv seed germination results. conclusion of that germination:

*Panya and Megalay mature seeds with excellent germination. and some immature ones.

*trimbak very shiny, colorful seeds with a thick shell. I think they may be fairly fresh seeds. It is better to give them a little sanding, scarification. The germ is viable and is activated, but the shell is thick, the radicle and turgor do not open the testa, but the integument is well formed and comes off in a good way.

  • Bramha pale discolored seeds, looking old. They do not open, but the germ is not activated. When the testa opened, only one seed grouped its nutritional tissue, but there was no force to stretch the radicle. When they appear they are old seeds (at least the ones sent to me). I will try to germinate the rest with other methods.

My germination experience made it clear to me about these Brahma seeds that they are the oldest and that if I don’t try to germinate now the rest of them will have a high probability of not giving life to this line. That with Megahlay and Panya I have more time and that Trimbak is the one that I can make wait the longest.

The trimbak stem gives off a quite distinct, sweet, molasses and earthy smell. It is a very pleasant kind of smell and gives a sensation of softness to your nose and your smell receptors. It is quite compact, internode three centimeters, broad leaflet, thin blade

.

Just as @elchichas said, I believe Shiv sold more seeds than he had, in need of money for his sick mother.

I will pray again for his mother. I don’t think it’s good karma for his mother that Shiv hasn’t delivered the seeds that we bought more varieties than we wanted just to help him with his mother’s business.

I understand that we lost those varieties that will not arrive. Even though I’m not angry with Shiv, I understand that I choose to try to save his mother at all costs. Of the last 5 varieties I ordered, I was interested. Buthan, chitral and Odisha the others was just helping shiv. If Shiv sent me some of what he had of them, he would feel that he responded to the treatment he was given. But he is determined to call his life bad karma.

Thank you very much Shiv brother, for bringing us closer to these genetics, what a shame you couldn’t deliver everything you had to deliver. I know you read this bro, have a good life and learn from your mistakes.

Pretty interesting work are you doing with those genetics…
I think we should learn to germinate old seeds
the methods that Cryptic labs use can be so helpful
There’s many rare Indian seeds here and we CAN’T allow to lost such genetics.
I also understand Shiv’s problem.
and I really wish him all the best, I hope his mother is better now and out of danger.
but I talked to him one day
I told him to do things right, to be honest with people, that he will explain to his clients that shipping was taking too long, that if he didn’t have enough seeds he won’t try to sell them…
I understand his problem but what he does is not right.
I believe that everyone here has shown to have a good heart, I am sure that if he had asked for help, everyone here would have sent money without expecting anything in return.

Seems odd to me as well. I was chatting with coco a lot , bought lots of seeds and then he disappeared after I met Shiv…

This is what I thought. Sold seeds not in hand.
I’m pretty disappointed. Most of you know I brought him to OG and tried very hard to support him and his business. He’d have done well. It’s a shame.
