Landraces of India

Very nice. She’s going to love that weather!

20 weeks and we’ll be at peak summer when it’s going to start re-vegging, I guess. I only hope it doesn’t stretch too crazy or worse, turn out to be male so I can manage it indoors.

What strain is India’s fastest landrace?

Some strains lose their leaves no matter the nute levels. I think this occasionally gets people into trouble. The leaf drop is mistaken for a deficiency, so unneeded ferts are added. Even worse this fertilizer that’s added is often nitrogen, which can delay flowering or make landrace Sativas smoke harsh. This one likely wants to shed leaves. I don’t know for sure but that’s why I think this type of variety was called gold. Highland Oaxaca Gold, Acapulco Gold, Colombian Gold, Orissa Gold…the golden color from sudden leaf yellowing during mid flower. :yellow_heart:
I wouldn’t fight it too bad. Stick with the no/ low nutrients for now. If she got the leaf curl, it might just stick with the plant till the end. No worries I have seen this land race do that quite often. It must be extra sensitive.

Thanks for being the calm in the storm. I will continue running water and very lite bloom only nutes.

Soil in 3 gal fabric pots. I think they dry back way to quickly which also could give me problems.

Misspoke, I meant just what potential gems that could from the cross with a landraces.

The upper valley is the place to be.

That extra climate band down lower here by the mountains really helps crops finish tho

They look happy

Depending on how far into flower the plant is at when the days lengthen, it should keep flowering anyway. There’s nearly six months time before days are longer than 12 hours. I think you’re ok if you have the right weather.

South of the Himalayas…so basically most of India has thc dominant strains meant for ganja and not hash.

Caught a couple good shots of Malana Garage at golden hour before sunset today, I should have updates on Pasture in a day or two when I get to where she is. I am impressed with how this one is stacking for such a skinny NLD plant
