Looking for chocolate thai

:grimacing: not even close to chocolate haha

Drawoh CT is touted as the closest to the old stuff, maybe his first gen was it, I can’t say. Sadly with small population breeding its too easy to lose superior expressions and breed a line into the dirt…

This has always been my understanding as well and I’ve put in a decent amount of time researching and chasing CT.

Used to get so much Thai Stick in Vegas during 70’s we learned there truly was a difference between red string and green string used to wrap it to the stick. It was incredible and I recall tossing out at least 2 seeds and griping it had seeds… grrrr. Go back and slap myself…lmao

I have Chocolate Thai.
Chocolate Rain,
Chocolope, and few others…

Dutch Flowers Chocolate Thai ?

Bro I got my own rebred Thai. It’s all Thai with a 8.5 week to 9 week flower period. It’s amazing and loaded with THCV. As you can see it grows like a hybrid but is Thai chemotype. I bred it from a Wild Thai strain. If your looking to make a Thai x CBD cross then I’m interested.

I stand corrected. I should of known because Chocolope has a shorter flower period than Chocolate Thai.

This statement contradicts itself.

One guy found these in regular wild thailand seed but had to through quite afew. Its got to be a pheno type of the actual thai they must of used. To me it looks like one of the old actual thai stick types.

Did you have some pictures up awhile back of a more browner golder type, probably thiner buds than the one pictured above ? Seemed to have more woodyer stems with more brown an red on them ? If that was yours that looked really good, i liked that.

How far have you bred these from the original seed please eg if you count the original as v1 ? Oh i should have asked, they were regular male female seeds ? Also if you can remember back when you first reproduced these from the original seeds you got ( v2) was there many diffrent types of plants eg some like the scraggly foxtail type ive pictured above ?
Sorry for all the questions @SativaKid i was just interested in some of your experience an observations while working with this line. Its just another guy i know grew about 2 packs of the regular ones outdoors an he got one plant too that looked like a extreame sativa landrace thai an was huge like a tree an very long flowering. Thanks.

How does it contradict?

Useful seeds had a pineapple Thai x chocolate diesel.

The Wild Thailand from World of Seeds had Chocolate Thai and two other Pheno’s all with the same Chemotype, a speedy THCV buzz with a decent kick. I selected the pheno with the wider leaves and bred it twice. The product was a hybrid plant with a Thai Chemotype that flowers in 8.5 - 9 weeks. So for those that want to grow 13 week Chocolate Thai have fun. But my Hybrid looking strain actually finishes a little higher on the THC because it’s easier to trim the buds effectively less leaf ratio. I get the same argument from people that have never actually done something like selectively breed a strain for good results. And I eliminated the Chocolate Thai for a reason. And my Thai strain does look like except lighter green. I’ve traded over 1500 seeds around the world. So you will see it around.
