A true Thai would take almost 6mos to grow and why it was hybrid so often, to reduce flowering times but while maintaining the chocolate taste and wonderful effects although diminished to a degreeā¦

@NIGHTMARE I had complete pictures of the whole breeding project but my wife accidentally deleted my whole cannabis logs and pictures when she used my computer for zoom meetings. I never told her what she had done because it would of been more trouble. But I have not taken 40 pictures in the last 3 years because of that plus I hate phones and donāt carry my phone.
To complete the story the breed was done with regular seeds throughout and the Plant test off the charts for sexual purity. It will not herm and I failed twice trying to reverse with colloidal silver. Iāve grown numerous plants and did lots of test and this strain is an amazing strain because of the High THCV and THC content. Just like the Thai sticks of the early 70ās. But because of my luck in selective breeding itās has a short Flower period of 8.5 weeks if grown right. Itās all about leaf size and the larger leaves soaking in way more light and finishing the flower process faster. It is still a Thai High and one cross breed I made was still high in THCV but the GG#4 raised the THC from 22% to around 27%. And I gave some seeds to a friend in Alberta and his grandson smoked some and hallucinated. THCV does some weird stuff. For me itās amazing pain and inflammation relief. I just get a normal but speedy buzz because Iāve become used to it.

I grew drawoh choc thai, and it was not chocolate much, not really, plants were nice though. I was luck I got cut, which is called choco wreck, and it is very quick, it is very chocolate, earthy cocoa beans tasteā¦ not so sweet, more bitter. when I grind it, it smells like chocolate eastern eggā¦ I crossed it with toms haze, and got crazy strong smoke, and some plants are chocolate, ready in 90 days.
I read that guys got chocolate pheno in red thai from RSCā¦ but didnt talk about super potent strain, more mild one.
there is actually difference if you have chocolate thai, which was sourced in 90s, like Billy Goat had, or in 70sā¦
as many many smokers confirmed that today thai lines declined in psychoactive quality compared to lines from 70sā¦ but maybe there is still some line of 70s quality. the hope dies the last.

The Bubba Kush x Deep Chunk may just give you something to hit with the Chocoloso or Chocolate Thai. Iād use multiple males and your true search comes in the F2 search as you get the biggest variation of phenotypes then.
Grow them out, do some stem rubs and find them girls that smell like Chocolateā¦ Start with them and begin refining thingsā¦

Wait you guys? I breed differently, sexually pure and stress tested genetics. And I donāt blame you for not swapping, most seeds are hermies up crap today.

I donāt care about hermies, bring on the intersexed freaks. Anybody caring about that has taken their eye off the true prize - thatās what I care about. These silly other selection criteria folk add all the while true quality suffers one generation at a time.

Thailand is a region that had great genetics. I say region because the great strains from Thailand got mixed in the region. I have one of these bastards from the region through World of Seeds. I worked it with selective breeding and it still has lots of THCV which is associated with Thai Stick. Most Landrace SE Asia are probably bastards with a lie attached somewhere along the way. There is a lot of things that are hard to prove with some Landrace Strains.
One is better than none. 
What I would do for some true chocolate over here. Been about 30 years since I have smoked real choco Thai.

Brother I have smoked a ton of chocolate Thai and I have grown it too. You will not have any chocolate flavor in fresh chocolate Thai. When it is fresh, it smells exactly like your mango heads Thai haze pheno. Then it all wanes and gives way to more complex profiles with time/curing.

From mj botany go ask RC Clarkeā¦ Here is a chocolate Thai seed, Sam and RC would have called it golden thaistick back then the chocko was golden Thaistick loose packed in cow patties. Giant seed, like a fucking orange seed, ovoid, no mottling. Not shown due to black n white was a red tinged 1/4 at the basil end of the seed. I know that weed man I grew up on it
