Also most likely will be topping the dragons blood within the next few days and let the half dozen or so branches that are going do their thing. I like the way it’s growing compared to the mk. Just the main stalk is bent over and all the branches are pointing lightward so for now I most likely will train this way for the next round or two until I decide to try something different.

Been looking into ebb and flow. Just haven’t found a good enough site that explains it well enough for my liking. Most just link me to expensive tables and not enough details on how it works and should be set up. I much rather read about it in detail and design my own set up than to be advertised to.

Just as a thought you might think about tying the dragon down rather than topping again. It’s got a few nice branches and if you let them grow a bit then tie them down the canopy will fill in the space on its own. Or topping would be fine too 
I had a real tough time dialing in my blurple. Took some effort but I now know that seedlings like 18” away.
I’m not a hydro expert but I believe you can diy an ebb and flow with a sturdy tray, a pump, and some plumbing fittings if it suits you.

@joecool are you trying to E&F in a tent or out in the open?

I’m in a spare closet not a tent but if I do decide on e&f it will most likely be in the open in the same room as the closet. So I can keep the closet for other projects.

The dragons blood hasn’t been topped at all its a clone I was gifted from @Burnso so it’s just in it’s beginning stages. Only reason I’m thinking of topping it is to let the 8 branches do their thing. Right now I’m not so much looking for quantity but to learn what will work in the space I have. I’m just wanting to top the main growth tip not each branch Im just wanting to keep it under control and
let the branches that r there grow out. I’m planning on lsting them the same way as the main branch is.

easiest way for a simple E&F not size restricted is by getting a mixing bin from lowes : https://low.es/2thazqY or something like this from walmart : Sterilite 41 Quart Clear Storage Box, Durable Plastic, Waterproof, Under Bed and Closet Organizer, White - Walmart.com or this from target: http://bit.ly/2SAFnxm --this will act as your flood table
At that point, all you would need is a large enough tote for your selected flood table for a reservoir (lowes has a 64 gallon tote for 35$; https://low.es/2SAzdx5 )
you will also need E&F fittings, for the flood table ( http://bit.ly/2SBBqZh )
you will need a water pump and hose to connect to the small fitting from the above link, and hose to go from the tall fitting back into reservoir (drain/overflow)— i recommend putting a 2nd water pump in the reservoir to be able to turn on and pump out your reservoir as needed for water/nute swap (other option is t-fitting and cut off valves, diverting table fill line to a bucket/drain system.
lastly, you will need air pump(s) and stones, pots, and hydroton (what I prefer at least)

had a timer like that in my greenhouse …it was real nice as it was water prof …i switched over to indoor and although there are new things to consider it was not all that hard to do …sounds like you have a good mentor and everything is looking real good !

Here’s todays photo update.
First up today is the dragons blood. Did a little trimming of the larf and spread the main branches out. I myself think it’s doing awesome especially since it hit it’s growth spurt.
Here is the mk ultra. She’s getting smelly even being in veg. Had to raise the light being as she had a slightly deformed top leaf and showing other signs of light stress. Other than that she is doing great.
They both are drinking just a bit more than a half gallon daily. I’m hoping the new clones I took of the mk take off. If they do I am most likely going to do a sog the next round.
I’m also trying to talk the other half into letting me use another closet for a mother room this mk is looking beautiful and responds to taking clones by taking off growth wise, kinda wanna keep her around for a while.
So far so good and as long as they both keep looking awesome and my clones take off I plan on flipping them to flower sometime during the last week of this month.

Looking great ! The Dragon’s blood has taken off ! Curious about the MK… were they fem seeds ? Ran that once back in the day and it was top ten smoke easily .
Yes the mk is a fem from seed. I actually received 5 from @George_The_Vault for a giveaway they did a while back. Started 3 of 5 and one made it through the few issues I had at the beginning of the grow. I have the last 2 seeds in cold storage for a rainy day.

That MK Ultra is looking fabulous. Terracotta pots are great because they provide oxygen to the roots similar to fabric pots.

Thanks for the kind words good sir. Actually it’s not terracotta both are in plastic pots. I am growing in Coco coir and perlite I bought a block of coco and like 16 quarts of perlite and when I soaked the coir and combined roughly 12 or so quarts of perlite it gave me just a bit over 12 gal of media. After all my years growing everything in dirt I’m liking the coco and perlite mix I’ve got right now. The plants seem to be super happy with it and the maxi grow and bloom (bloom yet to be used) seem to be doing just fine as nutes so I think I’m going to keep using them for a while. I don’t have any water testers or anything right now and am just using tap water for waterings and the max 10 grams of nutes per gal of water as the bag states So considering that. I’m rather impressed with how they both are doing.

Yes sir it is space blankets. Cheap reflective surface and doesn’t seem to have any burning the plant issues like I figured anything else but white paint would and it reflects more light than the plain white walls in there did. Plus they were super cheap and still have enough to re do the space when needed.

Well normally I just post updates every couple of days or so but just had to share today too. This is the mk ultra dubbed the monster by the other half because of how fast she’s growing now.

Also 2 of the 4 new mk clones I took I lost they just broke off at ground level. 2 are still okish I’ve never cloned before so this part is all new to me. I plan on taking a few more clones and defoliate in the next day or two. I am honestly loving the whole grow cycle. Untill this past summer I’ve never watched a grow cycle and all I can say is I’m amazed at how fast they can grow in just 24 hours.

Well Og fam here is today’s photo update. The mk is truly a monster as the wife calls it. It’s doing extremely well so well in fact that the wife may not have a choice as to whether I take over another closet for the veging of the dragons blood. If I’m not careful the mk may take over the dragons blood. The growth over the last week or so is exponential. More so than I thought possible it’s just a beast. Going to have to defoliate some later on today. Mainly to increase airflow being as she took off so fast. 2 mk clones are still showing signs of life so here’s to hoping they continue to do so because I’m really in love with the growth of her and definitely want to keep her around for a while if possible without having to turn her into a mother being as I’m still uncertain about my cloning abilities. But if both clones that are left do stay alive I am definitely making a mother spot to keep one of them bonsai and keep her making baby beasts for a bit…
