My grow + intro

120 hrs plugs vs paper towel.
Plugs clear winner almost :100: percent.

Pics: a frosty Euphoria & a fading Apple Crumble. (She just keeps pushing out new pistils)

Rip to my Marshydro fc-8000.
She died far too young.
The Jack style connection had been playing up. (between the control box & the led) Looks like it was a little out of alignment.
Must have fried itself…there’s always something!
Getting that repaired is gonna suck.

Heres a pic of the damaged fitting. Maybe I twisted it when tightening? Who knows. It’s a problem and will cost me, but could have been a lot worse⚠️
Have had no problems with Marshydro before this incident.
Fortunately dusted off an old 600ww metal Halide, so we are still good for now.

Have a close look at the mating end, it may have some issues as well.

I’d be inclined to replace both ends at the same time.

You could probably find the specific connector ends on Ali Express and do a simple splice job.

Hey @Mr.Christmas
Hoping it won’t come to that but yeah diy will be my last resort. Hoping it’s under warranty not sure yet. I’m not stressing tho. The extra heat from the 600 watter might be my silver lining right now.

@Gpaw & @Mr.Christmas
This just in…
Marshydro have offered to send me some new connections and sent instructional video on how to repair. I’m happy with that.

Some dry Bubblelicious. ( Nirvana )
Unusual red, hairy, delicate pop corn buds. I tried some just now.
Tasted really nice, not over the top strong. Suits me just fine.

This Euphoria is not going to make the keeper list, but she is very pretty.

Couple of things worth a pic today.
Euphoria again…just a few days off being ready. I really like the ice coverage.

The Gelato-k’s give off delicious raspberry Jam smells whenever I’m working anywhere near them. Really hope those terps can stick around.

And finally… the experimental tent. 6 & 1/2 weeks, These girls exist pretty much winter ambient temps. They’ve had a very cold life and it shows. smaller in every way. The Theory behind this cold grow is simply “you gotta try things for yourself before you really know what’s up.”
I should say, they have better structure than most of my other plants. Possibly due to less frequent feeding. .
Cheers!

Howdy OGers,
My Bubblegum hunt has come to an end.
out of the 3 I’ve been running.
(Bubblelicious, bubblegum XL and Bubblebomb)
I still liked the Bubble-bomb out of these 3.
Although I should add a side note. I keep coming back to the Bubblelicious. Tastes really nice & it gives me a perfectly relaxed buzz.
Stoked I have a few jars.

I have an abundance of cuts and will run them out but really I think I’ve done enough bubblegum strains for a while. I have no access to any of Bogs work which I’d still like to experience someday.
Bubblegum XL

Bubblebomb

So onward & upward with the Chem Fury, White Rhino & Gelato-K seedlings.
Here’s some Pitanga still in early stages of flower
And some Cindy 99 a couple of weeks off.

Looking forward to seeing how this Franco’s Lemon cheese goes…
Just replaced the connector on my fc8000 LED, which is now back in the garden. :+1:t2:
Hopefully have some nicer pics soon. Cheers :beers:

Found this persistent little fucker outside in my old garden bed. It’s the 2nd week of winter!
Thought it was only right to give her a warm home inside.

Yep more pics of the same… gelato-k & Cindy 99

Zamnesia on Gelato-K

“ Gelato-K by Kannabia, the offspring of delicious Gelato and Bubba Kush, is sure making her parents proud, and not just because of her gorgeous looks that earned her the name “The Beautiful Girl”.

:joy: my Gelato-k’s have heads only the cultivator could love.

Cindy 99’s have made it on the highly esteemed keeper list.

For the bubblegum enthusiasts.
3 types here.
All different but they have some similarities.

Euforia couple of days off the jar.
Tiny yeild, wish I gave her a bigger pot so I’d have got more of these super frosted nugs.

Last Euforia post I promise.
Fun fact , even the lowest buds on this plant were covered in trichomes, not just the tops of the main colas.

Dried, ( Not cured yet) but here’s my experience.

Smell: almost non existent vaguely dank/earthy.
Tastes like it smells? Yes.

Weapon of choice: Vape Pen (convection)

Effect: strong, long lasting, uplifting & relaxing.

Would grow again. IMO- This frosty pheno would be well suited in a Scrog style to keep stretch under control and for larger yields.

Just noticed this Lane Cove making some moves. Small pot, no training, she’s set herself up pretty good.

Shaken not stirred.

Heavy Dayze genetics really give my garden some aesthetic appeal it’s never had before.

And from the other end of the spectrum, one I’ve always been curious about … Greenhouse seed co’s Franco’s Lemon Cheese.
