@JoeCrowe : is there a way to take out that pathogen? I worry that it may be in my mother plants as I’ll need to pluck leaves now and them that show signs.
I’m planning on getting filters for my intake fans as I’m seeing PM all over the place outdoors in my area due to the weather. I’m trying my best but I know it’s gonna be impossible closer to fall
*Edit: I spray down EVERYTHING with diluted bleach in between cycles; but nothing I’ve don’t has been able to “take out” the pathogen once it’s on a plant.
The mildew killing protocol is 15ml/1tbsp sulfur(90%)+ in a liter of water(4 tbsp in a gallon) spray all over the plants. zinnias are a host to cannabis mildew, so make sure any host plant is sprayed. If it’s mildew on a cucumber or clover or something that’s not going to grow on your plants. Once you eliminate the pathogen colony in your grow, it can only come back if you re-introduce it. 6 meters or about 20 feet of clearance from pathogen hosts will prevent infection. Don’t spray on in bloom, that’s nasty
you are most welcome! I thank you for asking questions! Lots of people will tell you to just toss out your plants if they get infested. Sulfur works great on almost all fungal pathogens except water molds, oomycetes(oh oh my seats) like pythium. You can give it a second spray 2 weeks later if you think you missed a spot on the plant. I find it usually dies in one good spray.
That’s awesome props to your Dad. Nothing like some quality time with the old man.
My Dad stopped by my place today, gave him a little tour of the jungle you should’ve seen the look on his face Last time he came by, the trees just went into the ground too. He was shocked at the growth.
Getting ready to take some clones today. Going to take 2 from each plant for now and ill use this picture as a reference to keep track of what clones go with what plant.
I can always take another set of clones if these fail so i’ll probably just leave these as they are and see what happens. Might trim a few of the bigger leaves off though right now.
You PACK the bowl, then go smoke elsewhere. Do you want to be bathed in the smoke of another human cooking?..
…don’t answer that.
(*edit: in all honesty I personaly consider smoking around my plants a big no-no. Just like fine instrumentation you don’t want that shit particulating on your herb.)
