His account is basically in limbo, has been for a couple of months now.

Not under that screen name, but what’s stopping him (or others) from creating an alias… aka sock account?
Thieves at minimum should be getting an ip ban no? Or has forum software not progressed enough to be effective?
I’m genuinely curious about that, not trying to stir the pot.

It’s funny you mention this person. My radar has been peaked with this persona aswell. I actually seen him post just a few days ago. I believe hinting at getting some free beans from someone. And he was actively called out about his shenanigans on that thread. I wanna say the person that called BS on them was @Carty.

IP bans are effective, assuming that people keep the same IPs. Can very easily get around them with a VPN, unfortunately. That’s how boron guy keeps coming back.

Og team does a pretty good job with sock accts. I’ve read since the vets giveaway 2 years ago, but that’s just going on what someone else said.

What if this kabuddha profile is DrGonzo13 on a new account. DrGonzo13 seemed to be pretty elaborate and i wouldn’t put it past a career scammer to do something elaborate like that. Just a thought.

When I sent stuff it was to a 90210 address.

I never dealt with either of them. Just always like to know what’s up so I can be knowledgeable to whom I interact with. I do like this thread. Just kind of wish there was a little bit of a faster process to weed these people out. Seems like by the time anyone is aware of something they have had the time and opportunity to scam a lot of people.

Super late in the game but wanted to add my @DrGonzo13 story to the mix. He ran a give away on the free seeds thread, I won a pack of seeds off him. He messaged me and said he like some auto pics I posted and asked if I wanted to do a trade on top of him sending me the seeds I had won. I said sure and we agreed on what everyone wanted. I send his beans, he confirms they arrive, I get nothing. I reached out to say hi and get a very sad tale (genuinely sad) about his fathers health. I told him it was cool and don’t stress about it. The weird part was that he kept messaging me, telling me he was sending the beans and nothing would come, then 2 months later, another message, the beans are in the mail, nothing shows up. I just stopped messaging him. Later, another message, beans are coming again, but still no beans arrive. Very strange.
