New grow what's up

I save up twisty ties, those metal wires covered in plastic that come with electronic cables etc, or you can also get a roll of gardening wire, cut off strips and reuse them.
Paperclips are cool too.
And there’s also good old hemp rope you can use to sling in a circle around all the branches.
All reusable.

I use zipties for stuff that I don’t want to budge for years to come.

It’s kind of amusing that people buy gardening stakes and twist-ties when sticks and string can be scrounged at little or no cost. A buddy of mine put his plants in blackberry and muscadine bushes, using those vines as a natural SCROG that also conceals his plants.
It’s amazing how much cannabis you can grow at little or no cost.

If it costs money it’s not the best solution.

It’s healthy to hesitate, sit down and ponder alternate possibilities of just about everything in life.

Being lazy and daydreaming / meditating, makes room for more efficient and long lasting solutions.

It’s all about finding the most effective and efficient way that takes as little time as possible. Simplify, summarize and read between the lines.

It’s twist ties I’m using. Though breaking a zip tie is kinda easy imo. Usually just a sharp right angle pressure on the square, then pop it comes right off.

Looks lime it’s almost time to harvest. She’s surviving so far. I make sure to use warm water around 75-80f to help the soil stay alive while it’s trying to freeze.

Ahhh, now I understand why some plants turn black when it gets cold, it absorbs more light and heat this way, ofcourse. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Beautiful shades!

Well… the wind is brutal…

It all helps increase cannabinoids levels. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Edit: I just realized it’s velcro, lol, what an invention!

I’ve used a velcro guitar cable strap to keep a plant together before, whatever works!

That’s an interesting observation, and it makes sense. This plant never ceases to amaze.

I actually used the velcro strap from my arm brace. I don’t need to use it anymore. Almost a year after I broke my shoulder blade. Main reason it’s been a low training grow

increase it because of stress??

It really depends on intent.
Plants also create scartissue, just like human bodies, and they also have a hormonal system.
Under stress a healthy body creates all kinds of hormones to compensate and cope.
It activates healing, soothing powers, and a plant that had to heal itself is perhaps more capable of healing the humans that grow them and ingest them.

Letting a plant unfold without interference perhaps give us a lighter feeling effect.

I trust the universe knows what it’s doing, otherwise the stars wouldn’t look so beautiful, and this plant wouldn’t be so wonderful, it’s all designed and created man, I don’t see chaos anywhere, only patterns and cooperative life affirming systems.

I know a bug part of increased thc is perceived bug attacks. That’s one reason why people trim the tips off fan leaves. When you top/fim also it simulates a bug attack. The response is to grow more thc as it’s an insecticide and a glue trap in one.

Also new growth has resumed again. Inspections daily revealed she’s growing new green growth over the purple black growth. The contrast is beautiful  though I just have to get some mesh around the railing for general rain protection.

Colas are getting fatter. I really should name this plant already

A year?! Wow. I bet you get an interestingly complex cannabinoid/terpene profile.

I usually end up withsome interesting ones. Last grow was chocolate and coffee. A really nice mocha smell and taste

If she won’t recover it’s harvest day. The leaves are actually frozen in the stem and move wherever I touch them to. I’m giving her some warm water and hoping she has some more time
