Old Smuggler (x3) and Good Medicine

Yes! Similar experiences, pine hangs around till the end of the bowl. Some hashy/earthy stuff too

Why don’t you just break them down and throw them in some brown paper bags while you’re away? Or any color paper bags haha.

Wouldnt that dry em out faster? I was thinking since I wasn’t gonna be around to leave em hanging and just kinda hope they continue to go slow drying so I can trim em or at least buck em into jars when I get back

I agree on paper bags to slow down tbe dry. You could also freeze them till your back and can watch them closer.

So I went down today and checked the smugglers and they’re just starting to get some snap on the smaller stems. I decided to pull them down and pack the three of them into a Rubbermaid tote to try to hold onto some of the ambient moisture while I’m gone, I’ll check em out on Sunday and probably start the trimming process. Figures that I’m out of amber glass mason jars too, new set in order but further proof that im all over the place here, gonna tighten up for the next run when the holidays are over

In other news, new light day was last night! Got a HLG 300L R spec for the flower tent. I started a whole thread about it debating different companies but ended up going with the HLG. It won’t be until after Xmas probably that I start a run under this guy with the new earthboxes, but i am gonna be chomping at the bit for sure.

For sure would I run a 600r in a 4x4 @BeagleZ

Excellent light! I have one myself to go with a matching 650r. You can make caramel with them or crosslink rubber in a 5x5. LOL

Edit: it’s a 600r.

It’d for sure fit a 2x4, might not have the oompf for flowering towards the edges though

Looking to turn my 2x4 into my veg space. A dedicated spot for clones and girls on deck etc. might be just right.

This would probably be perfect for that man, you might want the B (blue) spectrum version though if you’re sure you only ever want to use it for veg and not flower, I think that’s purpose built for veg

This is the best price I’ve seen yet on the 300, part of the reason I jumped in when I did

Yeah do it @BeagleZ ! I use a single B-Spec QB288 board at 130w for seedlings through mid-late veg when I switch to the R-spec, it’s a great combo but I wish I had 300w of B-spec

Damn do I need that light?

No, it slows the drying process down; I do it every grow, whether I’m gonna be home or not haha.

No shit, I might have to try that then. I threw the seeds I made last run into paper bags under the auspices of trying to dry them out thinking the paper bag would almost act like a desiccant, but now I’m wondering about that, will have to try that the next time I have some flower drying since I already binned and split this time around
