Methane is no substitute for co2. Even the dog evacuated!
You know it’s bad when…
LMAO… “Onward Thru The Fog” as you would say…
Peace
DaFozz
That thing is R2D2’s girlfriend but it might be a male. Too hard to say. (not me, the eyestrain)
Tell us a story @oleskool830
No argument there!
But, like, back in the olden days when things were Great? …when prices were cheaper & video games & porn hadn’t been invented? @Calyxander?
You mean back when you had to actually use physical exertion? Man… that’s a long time ago…
Foosball tables… rock concerts, roll joints with strawberry papers from an ounce of pot that cost $10 - $15 … bongs were made from bamboo. When you got busted with drugs in the 70’s, they had to let you go, because they had no idea what most of us were even doing.
But, one joint was a night in jail.
Cop cars were square vehicles with large blue “bubblegum machine” lights on top. Nobody knew what Qualudes and Sopers were. It wasn’t scheduled for law enforcement. The early, lawless, days of the hippies. I haven’t done acid since that time.
But, I’m sure Oleskool’s stories would only back mine up… heh. I grew up in the dirty south, too. Just a mile or two east of him, in Alabama.
The Gulf coast had it’s advantages regarding things floating north from Colombia, Central America, and Mexico. I had lots of friends that found bales of pot on the coastline. Sometimes they dumped them at sea and they made it to land eventually.
I know Oleskool is in my age range because of his “Keep on Trucking” comics. Man, the comics and posters were out of this world. “Pop art”. Black lights. Fuzzy neon posters. The Fabulous Freak Bothers comics… “weed will get you through times of no money, better than money will get you through times of no weed”. heh heh
My first concert… Dan Kay and Steppenwolf, 10th row back… The Turtles, Every Mother’s Son, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Vanilla Fudge… those were celled “Battle of the Bands” shows with about 10 bands… produced by the local “cool” AM radio station. It was before FM. heh
Best songwriters of my lifetime and almost every band was worth going to see. man, how’d I get off on this tangent… fun times.
back to you oleskool!!
peace
@GMan
My first ‘lid’ was 6 fingers of Jamaican in a bag could barely get the lip to close over it and they charged $15 (I know they overpriced it because I was new to the game looking back.) not many seeds mostly kind of airy buds by today’s standards.
And I grew up a little east and just a tad south of you.
aka square ‘grouper’
Exactly, lol. Hadn’t heard that one in along time. After I had moved on, they started finding bales of Cocaine instead of pot.
peace
Every time I see that “keep on Trucking” it brings me back. Had the poster, the T-shirt and other memorabilia with that at the time.
Loving the backdrop for your shots Mano… It really gives your plants an authentic look. Your girls look very nice.
K.
So we should at least say Hey @oleskool830 if your gonna tromp all over his thread right?
Happy Memorial Day(is it me or is that fucking weird to say? ).
Texas is canoeing to New Mexico… @ReikoX, expect visitors.
Oh man, Strawberry Alarm Clock- “I had too much to dream last night”. Def. one of my favorites. @GMan you bring back some great memories. My favorite rolling papers were Easy Wider strawberry flavor, and we used to love the original Power Hitter to smoke out of.
Hahaha…
There were no video games, however, scintillating porn was readily available in the form of Playboy magazine, Everything is relative
Hey @oleskool830, I hope this upcoming summer is bearable and productive for you.
Texas weather here in SC…96F today, and 90’s for the next week or so.
Keep on keepin’ on baby!!
I’m jealous . Can’t wait until ct. gets off their ass and legalizes.
I started quoting your post and stopped because it was apparent that I would have to quote the entire thing! We are brothers for sure. Wouldn’t it be great to sit down with a couple of jars and reminisce.
I could keep going…
Lovestreet Light Circus and Feel Good Machine at Allen’s Landing in Houston where ZZ Top was the “House band”. There was a spiral staircase up to the club where you were offered various types of acid along the way.
Block Parties in Austin where you just wandered house to house and took part in what was being smoked or “dropped”.
Oat Willies (purveyors of Zapp Comix and Furry Freak Brothers literature.)
The camaraderie of the Hippie Movement centered around peace and sharing.
Good Times…
Oh! @GMan. I almost forgot…
Braless Chicks!
You know @Calyxander, it hasn’t been too bad up to now but next week is in the 90s every day! I’ve got some new weapons to employ that hopefully will get me through the heat wars! Like they say, hell is a local call from here! All love and Respect Brother…
