@zavorotnuck The Durban x Freezeland was a great hybrid from BeanHoarder I grew out. Very up sativa style high in a quick finishing strain. They starting flowering very early-mid July and was finished 1st wk of September.
Freeze is a great strain to have for a quick outdoor bud. Its a Quebec Canada outdoor staple, where most need their cannabis done by 3rd wk of Sept or sooner.
Would make a great strain to hybridize with long flowering sativas, and even the 9-11+ week popular indoor varieties like the OG Kushes etc. could possibly be finished within 8-9 weeks flowering, with some occasional plants prolly sooner than that.
Freezeland is a photo-sensitive variety. Keep plant on at least 19 hrs a day light. Falling to 16 or below can cause plant to start to flower. They dont reveg well either.
I have pics posted elsewhere here of the Freeze flowers with pink and purple pistils on them. Seems to be a dominant trait within the breed is the colored pistils.
i need plant for 55N finishing no late then mid sept.
maybe it makes sense add more early genes erdpurt?
(erdpurt x friesland-m33) x big freez
or
(erdpurt x friesland-m33) x (big freez x chem d)
or
(erdpurt x friesland-m33) x (big freez x god bud)
…
@zavorotnuck I cant speak on Kwikseeds strain of Friesland, but BeanHoarders I know are a quick flower. If mid Sept is as late as you can run, Id choose a shorter flowering strain hybridized with the Freeze.
I know most of BH’s Freeze should mostly be finished by 3rd wk of Sept, some a month sooner. its possible. Had B.H.'s Durban x Freeze finish in August for me.
TimeWarp is also a West Coast BC staple known for a quick flower as well. mostly hybridized already, hard to find straight TimeWarp.
Good luck
Planning backpack trip to Kazakhstan near Chuy valley for landrace hunting. Locals tell same weed really strong. theoretically its invasives from india/afghan.
Ata tundra (Alaska x Kazakhstan - Indica) all what you can buy with KZ genes.
I need more information.
Kazakhstan is close to where they speculate Cannabis was originally indigenous and old trade routes ran through there. Landraces from that area could be very interesting.
