I just used regular soil and tossed a clone into it. Worked well for a bit but obviously ran out of nutrients quickly.
Print yourself a huge dildo
You need to be active more often.
Oh my mckennaii is contaminated so likely f#cked. Seeing green bits. Maybe bit off more than I can chew with shrooms.
What are the dimensions of the self-watering pot? Curious since I use a similar setup.
Been looking into getting a printer lately with the advancing tech and dropping costs, along with all the awesome projects shared here on OG I want to try! Iâm especially interested in recycling bottles to make feedstock, the up cycling aspect of that has been on my mind ever since I read Cory Doctorowâs books Makers and Walkaway which I highly recommend along with his other work new and old, itâs very entertaining adult or YA fiction written by someone on the cutting edge of technology and society for a long time. Anyways Iâve found a bunch of great STL files that I wanted to share here with you all, hope these are helpful or inspire your own designs!
Found some fun Solo Cup patterns if anyone wants to play with these:
And this guy has Sunbeam/Holmes Blizzard fan brackets and replacement part designs, I know those are a popular fan so hereâs how to fix whatâs apparently the weak spot in the design, I love the internet man!
Replaces the oscillating mount on the Sunbeam 8" Blizzard (SAOF878BLZ), Holmes 7" LilâBlizzard (âHAOF87BLZNUC) & Holmes 8" Lilâ Blizzard (âHAOF87BLZUC) fans.
Collection of half a dozen bracket mounts:
Repair parts for Lasko box fans: feet, knob, and handle:
This is a pretty slick setup for using a 120mm fan inline with 100mm/4â standard dryer duct, with a cartridge filter box built in for carbon HEPA matting, they made it for their 3D printer but it looks perfect for a tiny grow box like @Ras-T or @SaintAliasKnife have, or using a couple in a larger tent:
Also tagging @Beak @Mr.Sparkle @smokenhike @Not-Notjosh on the last one seems like a killer solution for you micro growers
They are a great tool, especially if you can do even some basic CAD.
Yoooo glad this thread popped up in recents⌠Ive been interested in getting into 3d printing, but have no clue which direction to go. I want to print items i can use in my grow, like drip trays, tent braces, or clips⌠can anyone give me some advice? I would greatly appreciate
Iâd recommend the sender 3 v3 SE or KE for a first printer. Others may have other ideas.
appreciate you
We use an Ender - 3 along with a CAD system.
You will need some kind of a computer-laptop.
yea i have a few systems i use. Im a systems admin/network engineer by trade, grower by passion. Just new to the 3d printing world. whats everyoneâs favorite cad program? I have many at my disposal through work
Oh, youâll do fine dude. No issues. Ive been using tinker cad.
i have solidworks and blender currently in library for our engineers. i have full licensing⌠im hoping to get a printer within the next month. they just dont make enough extras for tents⌠lol
Check out thingiverse.com.
will do, appreciate ya
If you can use those programs already then like @JustANobody said, youâre all set with this, the learning curve will be shallow for someone who understands computers and networking/programming already. Sounds like youâre in for an adventure!
My guess is he will be printing successfully within an hour of getting it hooked up.
If youâre an admin/ networking engineer you got this⌠lol @tc198414
Thanks for the tag
If i ever get a printer ill need to compile a ton of stuff like this
Totally in the dark on printers, specially 3d. Over all the years of tech changes and new tech, printers have always been like centuries behind so I never had any interests until they started printing cool shit like masks and fan clips lol
I may be a network engineer but there are times where I can remember what I did with the phone in my hand. Anyone got any pics of projects theyâre proud of or something thatâs been extremely helpful in or around thr grow?
