Gorgeous huh? These are easily the most identical females i have ever grown. All 3 of mine are twins. And the male has the same structure and leaf shape as the females. I think its gonna be very good breeding material. And who doesnt like the aesthetics of purple nugs. They usually taste good too.
@schmarmpit the purpleing just continues to spread as evident by your pics of your plant.
Great show you two have going here, looking forward to seeing these purple ladies starting to stack up.
If they are that uniform, maybe just fully seed one or two and leave one for smoke? Would be easier than trying to contain the pollen to just a few branches.
That is awesome, from what Iāve been hearing, JOTI and Mark both have very uniform lines. Good to blend with each other then hehe. Purple unicorn atop gods Space needle. Or just gods PU.
Gods Space Unicorn
Now Iām imagining a unicorn turning purple fro. runing out of air
The coloring on those are truly awesome. Iāve never had a true purple strain, only got purple from low temps late in flower. Itās cool to see the color come out so early and so pronounced.
Oh, okay, I guess my conversion from km to miles got messed up somewhere, lol. Guess I shouldnāt do math after smokingā¦ Thanks for the correction!
Just wait for it!
just put 5 purple unicorn f5s into paper towels. i hope they turn out as nice and purple as the ones you guys have.
Iām pretty sure theyāll look exactly like the ones weāre growing. Itās a very stable line with minimal variation from what weāve seen so far.
Anybody else growing purple unicorn feel free to post your pics in this thread if you would like. @corgitron @anonymous4289
The colorful plants are always the most fun to watch grow
I agree. I have always loved late flower autumn colors. This is the first time i have grown a true purple cultivar. Purple from the beginning of flower. Its quite exciting.
Iām use to my plants leaves yellowing in late bloom, but some of them on one of my current plants is showing purples too, just in the leaves.closest to fall colors Iāve gotten personally
Its strain dependent as well as night time temp dependent. My cherry queen cut yellows out. But, my hollyweed and space monkey cut turns autumn late in flower. The hollyweed only turns purply when my tents get colder at night(winter) and the space monkey purpled up in warm temps the one time i ran her so far.
I canāt ever get the blues and purples from cold snaps here in Southern Cali. Probably another reason why the true purples really interest me.
You getting any smells yet @schmarmpit?
