Very nice indeed. Any chance of getting any closer photos? Especially of the trichomes if you are privileged enough to be able to take some. That will help the peeps here a lot to identify if it is ready. I think I can see some small patches of amber trichomes on the outer edges of the sugar leaves. So I think it is starting to finish up at least.

I tried the main stem split thing, as far as i could tell it made no difference in taste or potency, I didnt split the stem until about 5 days before harvest though.

I always get confused or maybe I’m blind to the fact of mostly cloudy compared to half clear half cloudy. I’m going for maximum pain relieving. What would y’all say about this

Chop them now, they are done :+1:

Hey guys, I started another thread to help determine the strain I’m growing as I took over some plants for a friend who lost the name tags…

Likely, this plant is either a Rainbow Punch or Purple Punch, but could also but not likely be Mimosa or Woody…

Anyway, trying to figure out some harvesting, I’ve already harvested some broken branches and have had some issues (lack of outdoor light and possibly deficiencies; also PH could be off; excise my first-ish grow).

Here is when it approximately started to first flower (around first week of August I believe):

Here’s some pics taken today:

Those are some of the most purple-ish buds, rest are still primarily green…

PS excuse the blurry microscope pics… I also have a video of the trichomes that’s a lil more clearly if people want to see that.

So, I don’t know if I’m over due, should wait longer, or if I should maybe take it branch by branch?

Not sure if I should Wait a week or just three days. Autoflower is 67 days old from seed smells great. I dont have a very good camera but maybe someone can guess? if I should harvest

the yellowing of the leaves have taken place mostly small leaves left 50% yellow

It looks ready.

From what I can see the trichomes look white (cloudy) & you are down to the small fans and sugar leaves.
Other signals some plants have are a reduction of water uptake and then stalling (not including foxtailing) at their finish.

From looking, I’d say it’s close but you still have a lot of white pistils. Usually about 70 or 80% you want to change to brown. I’d give it a week.probably. They also will be at their stinkiest point

Were you also talking to me here or the other guy?

@Yawningtears First, I would make sure that you are looking closely only at the bud itself. The leaves can show amber before the bud is ready. I see mostly clear trichs then some major amber, so it’s hard to know for sure. If she’s stinky af, I’d pull her.

My advice for anyone who is an impatient grower or when in doubt… wait another week lol

Thanks man, that helps a lot…

Could she be ready and not stinky?
